Appearance: Jiro is average sized for his age, with a solid, muscular build. He has fair skin and dark hair that he keeps brushed back, exposing his jagged hairline that is a trademark of the Nara clan. His eyes are reddish-brown in color, and almost always appear to be scrutinizing whatever he is looking at. He wears a simple fishnet shirt underneath a green, sleeveless hoodie that is often left unzipped. He wears his village's symbol on top of his hood, which is usually up. On the bottom he wears a pair of dark, knee-length shorts and thonged sandals. His arms and legs are wrapped in bandages up to his elbows and knees.
Personality: On the surface, Jiro is aloof and judgmental, even temperamental at times. He doesn't have a lot of patience for small talk, and even less patience for people who make it their whole personality to be loud and obnoxious. He tends to operate as a loner, but this is mostly due to te fact that he holds a heavy burden in his heart, one which he struggles to cope with and to articulate. To some he may seem unmotivated, for all the griping he does when someone tries to force him into tasks or training. But despite his complaints, he spends countless hours on his own, drilling techniques into his body. It isn't that he particularly wants recognition for his efforts, or the responsibility that comes with it. But rigorous training blocks out all thought, and means that he doesn't have to deal with his complicated emotions. Not only that, but he is keenly aware of what it means to live in this world, and when push comes to shove, he knows he will need to be be strong enough to defend himself as well as the people around him. All of that said, he respects people who are serious about their training, and who don't feel the need to draw attention to themselves.
