The opposing soldiers turned at the sound of Nero’s voice, their shock resounding loudly as most of them cried and shouted in anguish. It seemed the fallen commander was pretty well liked by his army. They dropped their weapons, expressing their surrender without much struggle and the army that Nero represented cheered his name in praise. They banged their shields, stomped their feet and celebrated any way they could knowing that their long war was over. Nero smiled seeing them so happy and relaxed knowing that for the most part his simulation was almost over. Things sped up at that point as the relief effort for the castle as well as the cleanup of the war proceeded at the same fast forward pace as the trap creation had gone before.

Many people seemed to be sprinting across the field back and forth as people were arrested, chained and led to what he assumed would be a prisoner of war prison, while others were executed or buried from either side. It seemed like a lot was going on down there. Eventually it all came to a halt however as Nero found himself back within the castle walls, talking to a few of the familiar officials from before. They were all kneeling at this point, a stark contrast from their first impression of confusion at the sight of him. They recognized his deeds at this point and almost seemed to worship him. Thankfully the blood from before was all gone, most likely disappearing automatically considering the time difference from before the war to after the relief.

They repeatedly thanked him and congratulated him for his achievement, some even going so far as to ask for his advice on strategy considering how successful his own had been. He knew they were not real but it was interesting to hold a conversation with them. He taught a few here and there and even went outside to interact with the residents of the castle before a large amount of text appeared before him. It expressed congratulations to him for having completed the mission and doing so perfectly with the least amount of casualties. It evaluated his strategy and scored some of his interactions. It was actually very informative and he took his time to read it all as this virtual world slowly collapsed around him.

In the end he found himself back in the white room, his body reinvigorated after the long workout and training and the message still showing in front of him. He calmed his breathing and began to relax, loosening up out of the mindset of a cold blooded ninja and back into the one of a normal person who wasn’t on the battlefield. He ran his hand through his wet hair and laid back on the floor, falling asleep for a bit. He needed rest, for his body to cope and adjust to this new change. It would take a while to get used to it but something inside him said he was capable. He was prepared for what was next, he had to go and visit the Kage. He got up and exited the training area with renewed vigor.
