One Job done, onto another

It was some time after midnight as the Deputy Hogokage would go to sit down in the steaming bath tub that had been reserved for her by the officials of Bear. Only a few hours had passed since Namikaze found herself passing the borders from Moon to Bear Country and dropping off the antidote created by the doctors of Haven. The town had obviously been suffering for a long period of time, much of the capital city was unkept, honestly this hotel seemed to be the only building to be kept in good enough shape to hold guest from other countries. It was a poor fate, but hopefully the antidote the Akari had delivered would be enough to save the town. The Kunochi was no medical specialist, but she had been assured that the antidote’s ingredients were simple enough to collect and that any small time brewer could easily recreate the formula.

With all of that, Hikari would allow her bare body to submerge under the steaming water and tried to force herself to relax. There was still so much to do left in Haven, so much needed to be done outside of Haven to protect the star’s village’s interest abroad, so much that needed to be done everywhere!

Namikaze’s eyes would turn a dark red as she forced the Gobi’s chakra into her chakra system in order to boost her own chakra. She had already set up a field in the area to prevent people from sensing her chakra while she did this. The Power of Haven knew that she had no other obligations for the remainder of the night, so the Akari would get to work with replacing seals on herself. It had been some time since Hikari had chakra at the end of the day to waste with replacing seals, so of course the Kunochi would take this opportunity to upgrade the seals on herself.

Of course, playing with the giant chakra monster of course woke him up.
“Oi.” It would ask. “Haven’t you finished your mission? If so, what are you still doing in this ran down country?  Lets just go home already.”

Hikari would press up against the back of her palm and place another shield. “I’m not going back right now. I have a few other stops I am going to make. Fang Country, Tea Country, the Island of Volcano, and possibly a few other places.”

“Why?” The demon would ask. “Haven’t you been worried about what has been going on with Hoshigakure during your absences? Don’t you have way to much work to be taking a vacation?”

“Its not a vacation.” The Akari would respond as she removed her light convergence seal and replaced it with another. “If it was Valen would be here. I just need to travel to the locations so I can teleport there if need be. Then, if I have missions in those countries in the future, I would be able to travel there without issue.”  

“Hmmm… I see… You still think Hoshigakure would send a delegation to keep you safe during this time.” The beast would say. “Almost like they don’t care for you.”
Namikaze would sigh as the Kunochi would finish placing the seals and start rubbing in soap on her arms. “Don’t even try to get me to think that Hoshigakure higher ups don’t care for me. Anyone that Hoshigakure placed with me on the mission would just hold me back.” The Akari would explain. “I’m not going to betray the village and place myself in a dangerous position over this.”

“Whatever…” The creature would stop talking.

The Kunochi would finish up cleaning up before getting out of the pool and wrapping a towel around her body. The woman would make her way to her room where her clothes were nicely folded up to the side. Reaching into her weapons pouch, the woman would make the proper hand signs and place Flying Thunder God seals. Hikari would then lay down on her bed, thinking of the journey she had for the next couple of days.
