Chapter Six: Ties That Bind (IO)

Following the footprints. Following the footprints. Following the footprints. Okay, this was getting boring and repetitive. What kind of guard left tracks? Stupid ones? The sun was beating harshly upon her black hair and attire, burning the back of her neck and skin. No clouds graced the endless blue sky. It was all just... Empty. The trees were getting thicker and the underbrush becoming more and more untamed. A breeze rustled by the leaves of the thick green overhead. She sighed. Why did something about this seem so wrong?

Crack.

Snap. a branch! Two samurai stood before them, wakizashi drawn. "You take the one on the left!" meanwhile, she tried to glance the one on the right in the eye. Once he did, she shouted. "Genjutsu binding!" He stood motionless in fear. Good. She pulled out a kunai and stalked forwards. Suddenly, something crashed into her side and she toppled over. The other samurai! And this meant that the one she was responsible for was free as well... Shit.

The tracks were so simple now that Ryou didn't even need to be a werewolf at the moment. The tracks went on and on and on, there seemed to be no end. These men moved fast, Ryou thought as the forest even began to change. The Lycan sighed and thought, this better not take away from my training time to much, like, I don't even know this woman or if she was telling the truth. After that thought, two samurais appeared out of the dark. "I guess you were right," Ryou told the half-masked woman. At first, Ryou didn't have to do anything because Eren had taken the man under her genjutsu. But in surprise, the second samurai took her down. So in response, Ryou drew out his blade of wind and jumped in front of Eren. Ryou didn't really like the thought of killing someone, so he first sliced at the samurai's legs at had knocked down Eren. Once the man falls to his knees in pain the Lycan would knee the man in the face. The only one left was the second samurai. Ryou made a wind arrow in his hand and threw it into the second samurai's shoulder. The Kaguya then turned to Eren to help her up. Once she was up, he took out a kunai and aimed it at the second samurai's throat. "How did you know about us following you?!" He asked, well, more of demanded.
