Streaks of light entered Altar's room through his lazily drawn shades. The boy sat up in bed, blinking a few times before rubbing the sleep from his eyes. God, what time was it? Judging by the heat of the room and the vague presence of the sun, it was well into the day, at least by a few hours. Pushing himself the rest of the way up from his place of sleep, the boy would throw on his daily attire, pat the nose of the slumbering dragon at the foot of his bed, and head out.
After strolling through Kirigakure and ensuring the peace of the village, Altar had stopped to grab a drink. Being well known, he was allowed a quick entry and exit, and he left with a disposable cup in hand, some spare ryo on the counter for the tender. As he took a sip from his drink, Altar felt a mess in his brain, and shifted his attention to the signal. It was Ren, saying something about recruiting a youngling that would be in need of training. A smirk forming on his face, Altar would toss the empty, vanilla scented cup into a nearby trash receptacle and disappear in a murky purple blur.
He would reappear outside one of the secret rooms in the academy, one that held the presence of Ren and an unknown signature. Shrugging to himself, Altar would tell Ren he had arrived, and await the open door. When the door had opened, Altar would step inside the room, brushing a hand through his hair and looking over the youngling, his mismatched eyes quickly growing accustomed to the difference in light. She was...older, for an academy student, but that had become surprisingly ordinary. Just by looking at her he couldn't tell what she specialized in, though that was probably a good thing. Her chakra signature was faint, but not as faint as some of the other recent students.
After the quick look over, Altar would turn to Ren and cock an eyebrow, talking via telepathy. "I'm assuming your meeting has finished. Anything to tell me before we take our leave?"

The Yuka wondered what exactly a more active role would entail, and who Tsubasa's friend was. The thoughts were brief, interrupted by her surprise at finding someone waiting in Tsubasa's office. The new, rather eccentric looking visitor - presumably the friend - stepped in without a word. He gave her a once over before looking at Ren. If he thought anything about her, he didn't show it. Since he didn't she felt the urge to break the silence in some way. It wasn't a feeling she felt often, and in fact had been oft criticized in her youth for being too quiet. Perhaps it was the alienness of the situation. Nevertheless Hanabi started to greet him, but stopped herself before speaking. The young woman realized she didn't know if it was safe to speak yet. Instead she just stood from her seat, dusting off her lap to keep her hands busy.

Ren would simply smile at altar when he stepped inside the room, "Nothing you don't already know, my friend. She's going to be a talented medical ninja one day, but right now she's an undiscovered talent, perfect for going places even I cant." he would relay to altar before picking up the book of the table and beginning to read it, clearly indicating to hanabi that she was free to go now.
once the two had gone Ren would stand up and move over to close the secret door once again before returning to his seat and returning to his study on how to absorb chakra into a seal.

At hearing the girl was a medical ninja, Altar's eyes would flash dangerously. The only oath he knew they swore was easily broken, as evidenced by his former mentor. Med nin were liars, dirty deserters, and deserved-
No. No. That was Kalamity thinking. Not him. Letting Kalamity rage could be...dangerous, to say the least. He needed to calm himself. Do not judge one by the many. Shaking his head, the boy would let his mind clear, looking now to the girl in her seat. Walking up to her, he would extend his hand, meaning to help her rise from her seat. Assuming she took his hand and rose, Altar would check the open door over his shoulder before looking to the girl and speaking.
"Tell me, how are you with...speed? Do you get queasy or sick easily?" the boy would say, a grin forming on his face. Awaiting the girl's response, Altar would take hold of her shoulder and prepare to teleport away, visualizing in his mind the roof of his home. "You may want to hold on tight and close your eyes. Everyone's first port is...it's a ride." Assuming she went along with it, the two would disappear and reappear on said roof, the last remnants of them in the room with Ren being a purple hole in space that would close as soon as they had fully disappeared.

Something strange seemed to flash in his eyes for a second, but it vanished so fast she thought maybe she'd been seeing things. Hanabi smiled politely as he helped her up. "I don't think so." She answered, wondering what he was talking about. Perhaps he had a vehicle of some sort outside? Port? Suddenly the world shifted, and she was wracked with disorientation and nausea. She squeezed her eyes shut, and when she opened them again they had left the room. They had left the academy entirely, matter of fact.
