It appeared that Kozata was having a good day. The island he had landed on was actually across the water from an island full of snakes, which he didn't want to mess with quite yet. Well, in that case, it was time to practice what he knew. He sat down and hunkered in for the night in his boat, deep in thought. The mansion didn't seem to be too active as of that moment, so he knew that he had to do the thinking himself. To anyone who knew of Kozata's inner workings, this would most likely be a pretty scary concept, as Kozata's thinking wasn't all that good quality.
The boat rocked slightly as waves gently lapped against it, providing a gentle sensation. This did not really distract Kozata at all, being that it helped him think. Now, what exactly was he thinking about? What kind of thoughts were passing through his rather dense head? Well, at that very moment, he was thinking about fuuinjutsu. It wasn't something he could very well easily cast aside, considering that it was, after all, the thing he was best at. Fuuin... the art of putting chakra into marks and seals an such.
Kozata had barely scratched the surface of this art, whether he knew it or not. Seals could be applied to so many things, but as a genin, Kozata barely knew what he was doing. Ausloschen had merely been a result of several weeks worth of traveling, training, and investigation into thermodynamics, whether Kozata realized he was doing those things or not. After all, he didn't know much of physics, much less chakra. This meant that he had to do everything based upon mere observations and gut feeling, which he was sure that most people didn't approve of. Oh well, it was what he was stuck with for the time being.
At any rate, fuuin to incapacitate, but not kill. A capture method. How would he go about doing this? Well, one thing he thought of with the mansion's help was to use fuuinjutsu to cause shock and body shutdown upon application of the seal, which didn't necessarily need to stay on the victim for a long period of time. This meant that he needed to get moving back to Kiri as quickly as possible in order to do his research! Kozata picked up his oars and cast off, heading in the direction that he thought his village was.
As it turned out, he began seeing familiar landmarks. Yes, he was getting closer and closer to his goal. The area unmisted, then became misty again as he got closer to Kirigakure... the new one, not the location of the old one. What exactly had happened to the old one anyway? It seemed like it had just sunk beneath the ocean, but villages didn't do that.... did they? Right?
Kozata neared the gates, and began to prepare for his return. He had been a little homesick, and it felt good to return.
