Coco Wei: Professional Treasure Hunter

Mission Details:

Okey doke, first step in restoring the village. Money money money. Back when the city still had ninja's tromping around it's grounds there was stories that the Amekage hid a chest somewhere out in the jungle. Free for anyone who found it to take. The idea was that it would show people just what sort of oppritunities the jungle had to offer.

On her way here Coco had been amazed by just how much variety the jungle had to offer. Plants and animals of all kinds were swarming around the jungle in hordes. It was a nice change in place from the almost lifeless streets of Amegakure. She was confident that if she looked around enough she'd be able to dig up all sorts of poisonous and medicinal herbs.

That was all for a later date though. She was too sore from training, to do anything extraneous. So she figured a nice tour through the jungle would be an easy enough task. It was only  E-Rank mission for Pete's sake! Honestly she didn't expect to find much of anything. The mission had been posted for a while, and even with the cities deserted status. Some vagrant was bound to find it eventually. She did have a small tinge of hope though. The mission was proposed with a riddle. "If the Amekage's treasure is what you seek, you'll find it' where the anaconda sleeps." It was pretty dry cut and simple, but the vague location may have driven off those seeking the lower hanging fruit.

So that' how Coco managed to get herself ensnared into the tight grasp of a rather large anaconda!
"I'm gonna make some nice boots out of you!" Coco coughed. Luckily her trademark umbrella had gotten squeezed in with her. So at least she wasn't going to die soaking wet. Everfaithfully it's yellow canopy kept her dry. It's also served the less important service of keeping some pressure off her left side.

Slowly the reptiles head peak up from the rest of it's body. It's massive maw slid open. Coco bet that if she shouted down it's throat she'd be able to hear an echco. If this thing thought it'd get it's meal from her, it had another thing coming. With what little muscle in her left arm she had Coco managed to maneuver her umbrella into the snakes maw. The beast was just shocked enough to loosen it's grip on her. Mustering all of her remaining strength Coco leapt out from between the snakes coils onto it's long sleeking body. "I'll take that!" She announced snidely swiping her handy umbrella from the snakes mouth. It's was covered in slime, and horribly bent from the beasts mouth. "I will avenge you my friend." She whispered.

With a powerful leap Coco disengaged from form the large snake, and landed in the beast's nest. Coco had managed to make it this far last time. She'd even been able to dig the Amekage's chest up. Unfortunately she'd been so blinded by the prospect of money that she'd let a two ton snake sneak up on her. Not her finest ninja moment, she'll admit.

She snatched the chest up by it's tarnished bronze handle, and made tracks back home.  It was nice to get away from it all from time to time, but in her hear of hearts Coco was a city girl.

Once she'd made it safely out of the jungle and into a safe patch of rice fields, Coco decided to take a look in the chest. She was half salivating at the thought of buried treasure. And she wasn't not disappointed. Inside the chest was a fat wad of Ryo, and a strange little guitar. Coco had no idea what that meant, but she assumed it had something to do with the cities leader from a bygone era.
