Appearance: Thunder Release's Appearance has been known to change depending upon the situation in which Thunder release was being used in, the list being as follows :
Yellow - Any Technique not covered Below
Green- Any Technique that has been Enhanced by Nature Stacks
Red- Any Technique that falls under being a Amplifer or Infusion
Blue- Any Technique that falls under being a Enhancer
Silver- Any Technique that falls under being a Barrier
Orange- Any Technique that falls under being Damage reduction
Purple- Any technique that falls under being a Debuff

Backstory: Once originally thought to be the Kekkai genkai of the River clan, being the key to the power they held for so long over Iwagakure. Eventually, the last River, Agito, Revealed the truth to his best friend, Kozai Yuki, in a Video Document, to which after the destruction of Iwagakure, Kozai took with him. Once within the village of Hoshigakure, The Master of Secrets place the information hidden within the scrolls of the villages secret techniques.

A little over a decade since, the secret has long been exposed, and over time the element's knowledge has drifted across the lands. While not as Popular as true Kekkai Genkai's, Thunder has etched its place in history, and occasionally, someone will pass along another with knowledge of the element, passing it along, and teaching yet another, making it a quickly growing Advanced Element amongst shinobi all across the globe.

How it is used: Thunder Release can be used in a variety of ways - however, the main function of Thunder Release is from vibrational energy control - through frequencies. This type of control is blended from the use of the Wind and Lightning elements to cause high frequency vibrations that can travel through any medium and allows the user to create many different scenarios. Vibrations have a use-case in all different aspects of the world and therefore the limitation is ultimately only the creativity of the user/creator of the techniques.

Special Traits:

1. Special Trait 1 - Molecular Function - Thunder techniques allow for the users to control extreme high frequency vibrations that cause effects from skin or surface level — all the way down to the molecular level. Some of the effects are included below:

2. Special Trait 2 - Volatile Mixture - Wind and Lightning Chakra have always had a sordid past, and this element is no different. While at times the combination is perfect and does exactly what is desired, there are other times, the mixture of chakras are off, one overpowering the other causing slightly differing effects. These can be Delayed Effects and Disruptions. Tech Specific, Case by Case.
   
   
3. Special Trait 3 - Senses Overload - Due to Volatile Mixture and Molecular function, Thunder Release has a distinct advantage over Sensory type shinobis and potentially dojutsu users as well. If hit with a thunder release tech, you would be unable to track chakra for up to 3 posts, depending on the rank of the technique used. This is done via a stat check vs Vigor.
   
   Advanced jutsu of Thunder Release can render dojutsu useless by affecting a person's sight, including the jutsu cast from them. This would also be in effect for 3 posts. This effect would need a technique created specifically for this effect.

Trait 3:

>Mention that this comes into effect only after a stat check, and pick a stat that will be checked which will always be the checked stat.

>Preventing a character from using any Dojutsu universally is unbalanced. If you have a trait that prevents a shinobi from tracking chakra, and they have a eye that tracks heat they would be unaffected. Similarly an eye with a different capability such as Genjutsu casting these should not be prevented with this trait either. I could see the potential for a technique that blinds a target and prevents them from using their Dojutsu for a fixed amount of posts, after failing a stat check, but this should not be a common effect within the element to prevent abuse.

>If each Thunder tech has the sensory overload trait, each one with this trait must still mention it in the app itself. Maybe you could remove the clause to keep the apps flexible because I think the trait being a part of each app will be a factor in determining how loaded it is every time.
