The crisp fall wind grazed Shiro’s skin while he strode around the village. The coming and changing of seasons always made him nostalgic of previous months of the year. Yet this November would go down as one of his favorites. The white haired shinobi had recently been granted his place back on the leadership of Kirigakure. The people were. . . ecstatic to say the least. He had not made it into a formal ceremony, not until he got the village back into order, but the first thing he wanted to do was to explore the other parts of the main island. Kirigakure was known to be expansive, with many rain forests and pathways that could be a good hike and bonding experience for his fellow shinobi. It was during the early hours of the morning, right as he was walking towards the Mizukage estate, that he turned towards one of the shinobi guarding the front doors.
“Umi, could you send a message to Nemui and a few other shinobi for me?” He asked, the auburn haired kunoichi responded with a simple nod before vanishing in a puff of smoke. Shiro had a feeling that some of his shinobi would be far more likely to listen to him now that he had risen up from Deputy to the actual Mizukage. Yet he knew that Akabayashi had granted it to him out of courtesy. He still remembered those days of hatred that had been held in his heart, but those days had to be pushed to the side, he could not, and would not, strike Akabayashi down. He was first and foremost a valuable ally, and the key to potentially meeting this fabled “Queen of the Moon” that he’s heard so much about. The mist could use allies, especially with Hoshigakure so far away. He couldn’t risk himself being open, not when Konoha could knock on his door at any moment. His fears would come to pass soon enough. The white haired hyuuga makes himself comfortable inside of the estate. His eyes tracing the navy blue walls, the oak had been etched with the symbol for water at its center. It was a fascinating choice for design, yet it was one to remind those that weren’t from Kirigakure that they were no longer at home. Shiro chuckled at the thought, he wanted strength, and his position, and he had acquired those in spades.
The time for peace was beginning to wane, the leaves of autumn had begun to fall all throughout the morning. Shiro watched the clock with indifference, his pen striking once again at the letters he’d have to send towards the Daimyo and to other lords both inside of Kirigakure, and those on the isles of the Land of Water. He had already sent word out towards those in the far south to keep an eye on the borders. He had received word of boats, travelers heading along the coastline of the farthest island and sailing off to the south. Kiri sat in the center of the world, a hub of trade that had been stifled thanks to the storm barrier. A precaution that was practical, but would not help Kirigakure in the long run. The clock's ticking made Shiro tap his finger to the beat of the clock. Each tick signifying a tempo of 1 beat per second, it was a kind of game that he played while writing notes or sending out letters. The paperwork that had been stacked up over the years was astounding, yet not impossible.
He couldn’t wait for Reizo to join him as his advisor, maybe then he’d be able to actually get all of his work done in a single day. His thoughts shifted to those letters, the clock's hands signifying it was 9:30 AM. The letter would arrive at their doorstep or inside of their letterboxes. The letter would simply clarify that the chosen shinobi should meet with the Kage at 10:00 AM for a small expedition near a known campsite inside of the village. The letter would clarify supplies needed, primarily sleeping bags, water, and rations. Nemui was one of the few people that he felt he could trust, and was strong enough to where he could have his back. The young hiyu clan member was a physical specimen that he had not seen in almost anyone else besides Romp back in the day when he had taken the role from Shikami. He wondered if he could truly crown someone so young a potential Deputy, this small trip would tell if the young chunin had what it took. The others were to primarily study the interests of the people, and whether or not there needed to be another change in the academy's curriculum and if his fellow shinobi needed assistance.
He remembered back when he was young and inexperienced. His attitude and poor work ethic from before he had turned sixteen held him back from graduating at a younger age. Yet now, he could feel himself growing, it was a far cry from where he was years ago, but, there was still that want, that desire to help others. He couldn’t let go of it, he couldn’t bear to watch what happened to him happen to someone else. He needed his shinobi to be strong, stronger than almost any other, yet to do that, it would take time, effort, and some luck.
But he’d wait for his fellow shinobi to arrive. The mizukage hat hung behind him while he scribbled down a few more notes.

It's been awhile since Jaiden has been out and about like this, the cool breeze coming in as his dreads bounced. The dark skin older man would reach up and placed his hair into a ponytail with a single dreadlock hanging freely. The sky was a nice golden autumn color and he was enjoying it, November was always a fun time of year for him and the kids back at the orphanage they got their fun back in October and that only leads into a feast in November but that wasn't here nor there right now Jaiden has something else he needs to do today. He needs to gather ingredients for the feast at the orphanage especially when he's gonna be the one cooking. "Goodness this is gonna be a hell of a feat." He said to himself as he adjusted his shirt before heading towards the market district. Though his thoughts were not just focused on the food but on his progress as a Shinobi, he honestly hasn't made any, everything he originally was gonna do ended up being cancelled and he just didn't do anything but minor small missions that others didn't really care for. Was this all he was gonna do, take care of the orphanage and small missions Jaiden honestly didn't know. Just as soon as he got there he would get stopped by a few of the kids from the orphanage who were out doing jobs for the building and trying to bring a bit of joy back into the place. He couldn't help but laugh as he nods before heading back with a few of them in tow. Once he arrives at the orphanage one of the kids would approach him holding up a letter that was left for Jaiden. "Hmm bring it with you as I get into the kitchen." He told them as he walked straight to the kitchen and began storing the items away.
"So where's it's from?" He asked as the kid look at the letter once more before telling him it was from the mizukage office. This made Jaiden as top and stare at the letter for a brief second before taking it from them. Once he opened it he would read it's contents as other kids were waking up and coming in as other adults started to grab breakfast items and cook them up. Jaiden would then check the time and nod as he went up towards his room grabbing all his necessary equipment and gear as he placed his headband around his arm for now. Since it was supposed to be a small expedition he figured it would be simple to just go there and return but he also wanted to come prepared. He would gather his sleeping bag, albeit it was old, some rations for, and a couple of water containers as a just in case. After grabbing a few of his other items he would set off for the kage office where they were to meet.
Once he arrived the older genin would make his way inside. He hasn't taken an expedition like this before plus he heard there was a new kage now, maybe now he'll be given a chance to earn a rank up from genin since he was never given that moment. He would walk around until he was lead to the room he was supposed to meet everyone in, arriving 10 minutes early than everyone else. If he was let inside he would bow to the kage to show respect to him before standing up straight. The 28 year old man was still a muscular wall of a man with fire in his eyes. "Thank you for allowing me on this expedition." He said calmly and respectfully. His voice was a deep with a bit of a grumble behind it his suit like ninja outfit stood out but also blended in like it caused people to double take when they saw him but he was definitely prepared as any Shinobi would be. Jaiden would then look around the room as this was probably the first maybe second or third time he's been here but he never really kept count of the times, though he was a bit surprised that he was one of the first to arrive to the meeting space.

Kirigo woke to the sound of knocking on his door. He could feel the stickiness of partially dried blood holding his eyelids closed as he pried them open. There was another knock on his door, louder this time. He groaned to whichever one of his parents had come to wake him. He could hear his father's voice on the other side of the door but didn't catch what he was saying in his groggy state. A letter was slid under the door and he could hear his dad's footsteps as he walked away from his door. Kirigo drug himself from his bed and made his way across his room to pick up the envelope. His eyes widened as he seen that it was addressed to him from the Mizukage. He opened the envelope nervously, wondering what the Kage would want with him. As he pulled the note out to read a puzzled look crossed his face. Why would the Kage be summoning him on an expedition when he’d just gotten out of the academy? As he finished reading he checked the time and cursed himself for sleeping in so late. He hurriedly grabbed some clothes and ran to the shower to scrub the crusted blood from his body. He was happy he’d done laundry last night, at least he would look presentable, or as presentable as he could anyway. When the water going down the drain finally ran clear and he’d scrubbed all the grime from his body he stepped and pulled on his clothes,a plain black t-shirt wiht a matching longsleeved thermal and cargo pants. Kirigo wiped the mirror, clearing it of steam, before looking into his own eyes. Even without his Ketsuryugan active his eyes color had completely changed now, his pupils and irises a deep dark red, only a small white dot left of what his pupil used to be. He’d definitely stand out now but at least the baking soda had gotten the stains out of his hair and clothes so he wasnt walking around looking like a movie extra. Kirigo returned to his room reading the note again as he packed his things, making sure he had everything he was told to bring. He wondered again why he wouldve been chosen as he straightened his things up and made his way out of the house, waving to his parents as he left.
When he arrived at the Kage’s estate he’d knock on the door and wait to be let inside and shown to the office. Arriving at the office he would stop at the door bowing to the Kage before he entered. “Goodmorning, Lord Kage,” he said nervously, “My name’s , Kirigo, thank you for having me.” After addressing the Kage he’d give a slight wave to the other guest before leaning with his back against the wall to await further instruction. While he waited he looked around the room his eyes locking onto the Mizukage’s hat in awe, he couldnt believe he was really in the Kage’s office, when just a few months before he’d been helping his parents sweep around the shop. He drifted off into thought as he waited.

Nemui awoke at five o’clock on the dot as part of a new sleeping schedule he’d been working on for the past month. Immediately sitting up, he’d reach for a bottle of water on his bedside table and down the contents, roughly a litre of water. Then after a quick trip to the bathroom, he’d spend time performing various calisthenic exercises until the clock hit six thirty, whereupon it was bright enough outside to go for a run. Nemui slept in his running shorts and a basic grey t-shirt to save time and effort on laundry, so he’d simply slip on a pair of shoes. Leaving his house locked, the boy would spend an hour running around the village, exercising but also searching for any signs of trouble.
While it was a rarity that anything could go wrong in Kirigakure, the boy’s past experiences taught him to remain vigilant at all times. Suddenly, partway through his run he heard a crying child in the distance and rushed to investigate. Turning a corner he saw it, the terrible scene of a ball stuck in a tree where it couldn’t be reached by the boy underneath. This clearly required immediate intervention and Nemui would do just that. He calmly walked up to the boy before petting him on the head and climbing the tree, without using Jutsu, to retrieve the ball.
Upon the ball being in reach he’d simply grab it and drop it next to the boy below, before dropping down himself. “Now you be careful so it doesn’t get stuck again, alright lad?” Receiving a shy grin in answer to his request, Nemui took that as confirmation and continued on his run, eventually arriving back home. Taking note of the time and feeling proud of himself for nailing the new schedule, Nemui hopped in for a quick shower before getting dressed in his latest ensemble of clothing. It was a fairly complicated and formal set with various accessories he took a liking to recently.
Waking up so early had its benefits, one of them being that plenty of the day remained, and the boy had plans to fill it. First up he left home to shop for groceries at the morning markets, purchasing an assortment of fish, rice and vegetables. Afterwards he’d planned to visit the training grounds for some friendly sparring, however, when the boy arrived home a letter awaited him. Nemui carefully read the letter, growing curious as to the urgency that seemed implied by having to meet on the same day it was sent. Without much time to prepare everything it stipulated, the boy quickly made up some tuna rice balls with leftovers from the day prior.
He’d wrap the rice cakes separately before placing them down and assembling his other essentials, including a sleeping bag, pillow, two changes of identical clothes to what he currently wore, three sets of shorts and t-shirts, twelve bottles of water containing one litre each, a collapsible fishing pole and box of fishing necessities, four novels, a pot and pan, coffee, sugar, powdered milk, four mugs and spoons, four bowls, and a towel.. Grabbing a very large hiking bag, he packed everything inside it hurriedly before setting off for the Mizukage’s office.
The time at his departure was nine fifty but he didn’t live terribly far away, so the boy knew he’d arrive with five minutes to spare. With every step an assortment of items clinked and clanged together on his back, while every step landed heavily due to the weight of it all. Nemui remained unperturbed by this however and would eventually reach the Mizukage’s office. A loud thud reverberated the floorboards with every step, preceding his appearance in the doorway. Nemui observed that he was the last to arrive by the looks of things.
“Good morning.” The boy spoke softly but confidently while bowing before entering the room, moving to take a position on the back left side of Shiro’s desk from the man’s perspective. “Nice to see you again sir.” Nemui addressed Shiro before looking at the others, first at the giant of a man. Immediate thoughts of how he would combat such a large figure if the man also practiced Taijutsu crossed the boy’s mind, although these considerations had to be put aside for now. Nemui then looked at the boy, who while slightly taller than himself, was much less of a presence in the room compared to the other guy.
“My name’s Nemui, glad to make both of your acquaintance.” His gaze shifted between the two while speaking to make it clear he was addressing them. If they had something to say in return he would pay attention before turning back to Shiro, awaiting his instructions.

Re: I Will Not Fall In Love. (Event Thread)

Shiro waited patiently for the trio to be guided into the office. One of the many assistants roaming around the premises, a pale skinned woman with a slender frame guided Jaiden when he had first appeared. Shiro’s byakugan catching the dark skinned Kiri nin with slight intrigue. His physical stature was rather impressive, reminding him of the nearly 80 year old academy principal with a body built of steel and salt. Yet he could tell that he radiated power, enough to catch Shiro’s ire without even fully coming into view. His assistant opened the dark oakvine door, allowing Jaiden an audience with the new leader of the village. He greeted Jaiden with a small nod, awaiting for the others to arrive before addressing any of them. He had run specific background checks for all three of the shinobi arriving inside of his office. Jaiden was a member of the Goka clan, the very same that Kaimera seemingly was a part of. Yet to find out that Jaiden was only a genin surprised him. His work inside of the orphanage he seemed to be a part of was an admirable trait. One that Shiro respected and kept track of. He remembered a time when he thought he’d have to stay in one of those places, yet was only saved thanks to his connections with the Yuki Clan and their Clan Head.
The next to arrive was Kirigo Hanade, a young boy of 13 years who he didn’t have much information on, say for his clan, and the fact that he seemed to be a rising talent. One that Shiro hoped would bolster Kirigakure’s defenses. He had to keep up the appearance of a strong leader, especially after Akabayashi handed him the seat of kage. He watched as the young boy was let in by the same assistant after knocking on the door. His byakugan could see that the boy was nervous. His tone of voice told Shiro all he needed to know. The fact that the boy needed confidence was evident. However, he appreciated the bow from Kirigo, even if he felt it wasn’t necessary. Kirigo leaning against the wall in wait for the third, and final participant of the mission amused Shiro, yet he could see with his own eyes the boy was floored to be in the office. Shiro almost chuckled at the wonder in the boy's face, yet remembered the days when he imagined himself inside of this office. With nothing in the world holding him back.
Nemui being the last one here was not expected, but it also made sense given that he had far more responsibilities in the village after being granted the rank of chunin. What he forgot was how short Nemui was, 2 inches shorter than Kirigo, and almost 2 feet shorter than Jaiden Goka. Yet he was the one he trusted the most, and the one he addressed before the other two.
“I’m surprised you’re the last one here Nemui, it’d look back on me if my own chunin were the last ones to arrive!” He said, his tone filled with sarcasm when addressing the blonde. Shiro nodded his head towards the other two, rising up from his seat. His black shirt and pants were covered with a large black cloak. Small blue streaks of flowing water surrounded the slightly pointed up collar. The grey cloak also hid the chakra bonded blade sheathed at his hip. His now pure blue eyes staring down the 3 within his office, addressing them in unison.
“You three have been chosen to accompany me on an expedition towards the fabled “Abyssal Woods” near the northeastern part of the village. It’s a large camping site for locals, however, it’s a place I’m hoping to transform into a training ground for shinobi, especially our currently dwindling Hunter-Ninja. You three are candidates that I believe could benefit the most by accompanying me there.”
Shiro’s voice was firm, addressing them while moving away from his clean dark oak desk. His hands tracing the edges like he would the sheath of the sword. He stood in front of the three. His arms hidden behind the cloak that he wore. His eyes focused on Jaiden, then Kiri, then Nemui, with only Nemui seemingly being the one that packed clothing.
“Now then, I ask you three to follow me quickly, I’d rather not have the entire village know where we will be heading,” Shiro spoke, quickly walking straight towards the door, quickly grabbing the handle, and opening the door. He turned towards the dark haired assistant, Nobue, nodding his head out of respect for her service inside of the building. He moved quickly, his speed being on display while traversing out of the main entrance of the Kage Estate, and eventually out in the open. He moved with purpose, each step making sure not to make a single noise. He would lead the three of them through a series of different alleyways and roads, making sure to avoid the city center and arouse suspicion. A few people had seen them, yet he noted that the only ones that he could even see tailing them were a few of the Anbu that were loyal to him. His rise to power had caused quite a stir within that of the special ops division, primarily since it meant that an Anbu Captain would have to be appointed soon. He kept track of the three shinobi, making sure to slow down in case he was moving too far away. His byakugan allows him to keep track without a twitch of his head. Upon reaching the entrance of the Abyssal woods. His byakugan had found something alarming, large gashes of claws marked trees 50 meters away from the entrance. His heart beat suddenly racing when he saw further, a few dots of blood were spread out on the spruce bark. His eyes widened in shock, his left hand grasping the handle of his blood, addressing the trio when all three of them had arrived.
“Looks like we have ourselves quite a problem, keep yourselves on guard, this is about to get ugly fast.” He said. Without warning, Shiro dashed into the forest with immense speed, practically creating a sonic boom within the wake of his movement. He traversed the 50 meters Almost instantly, driving at the damaged campsite with his byakugan active. In the 200 meter radius of his clear vision, he could see a few of the visitors of the forest were strewn about, some weren't breathing, however, there was a few of the lucky ones. People that seemed to be breathing to his west, north, and east. However, he also was able to see below him, noticing a Shinobi, about 20 in age, hidden underneath the dirt. He could tell the shinobi had sensed him, since he immediately rose from underneath the soggy dirt, his whole body shivering from what Shiro could only think of as fear.
“L-Lord 6th! I-Im sorry, something attacked us during the night, I was here out on patrol when this massive. . . Thing. . . Came out from the shadows, I-I couldn't even se-sense it!” The shinobi cried out, Shiro tallied up those that had died, two of them, and older man with strands of grey was located 22 meters to his southeast, his throat had been slashed by what looked to be claw marks. The other was a younger woman 14 meters to his northwest, brownish hair and a tanned Complexion. It was a sad sight to behold, but whatever the hell this thing was, it wasnt an ordinary beast.
If the trio had arrived, Shiro turned towards them. His eyes glared in anger at the life that was lost.
“Nemui, Jaiden, Kirigo, check on the remaining 3 survivors and bring them to me. I'll treat their injuries, this is way worse than I thought. Once you three come back we'll travel further to investigate,” He turned towards the shivering, nervous shinobi, “You, I want you to notify the rest of the village that this place is off limits for the time being. I don't want anyone else dying within these woods.”
The chunin, Hiruno, nodded his head before immediately vanishing in a puff of smoke. Leaving Shiro to wait upon the other 3 to retrieve the injured, while he'd travel to grab the corpses to inspect them to see if he could find anything else.

As the room filled with the last two shinobi to join them Jaiden eyes would look back and forth. He saw that they were clearly younger than him, and one was possibly two inches shorter than him but the other one was definitely at least 2 feet shorter, Jaiden also took note of how everyone's appearance and approach was. After learning of each others names Jaiden would nod gently as he looked back at Kirigo as he was possibly still leaning against the wall. He even noticed that the new kage spoken to the one named Nemui first signifying that he knows him well at least better than him and Kirigo. He would then snap back to reality as Shiro spoke to them again this time in unison. When he said that he was gonna make it a training ground it made Jaiden straighten up a bit more, he did enjoy a good training session and plus he may actually get a chance to do something new besides the small things. He didn't let it show on his face but he was excited for this opportunity. As Shiro moved his hands along the edges of the desk Jaiden eyes would follow them a bit, mostly from habit from getting stuff from the kids who would try to sneak off with candy or other things they weren't supposed to have. Jaiden would readjust himself as his bag moved too in the process.
By that time he saw that Shiro was already making his way out the door. He would instinctively follow his lead as he bows towards the one who lead him into the kage office out of respect. When they got outside Jaiden would start to step along with him but he made sure to keep himself a step or two back he wanted to keep up with him but not get ahead. Jaiden footsteps were quiet too his steps was natural and high paced to keep up with the faster kids but nothing was comparable to Shiro in this moment. As they walked through the alleyways and avoided the main street the firey red eyes of Jaiden would dart around taking in his surroundings. Though in doing so he would see that Shiro began to pull away from him slightly so he has to catch up. When Shiro stopped Jaiden would too a few steps behind when Shiro spoke again before he clenched his bag as he looked at the kids before the sudden sonic boom could be felt causing him to slide backwards before he looked up and took off after him. He would boost his own speed using the wind surfer jutsu, he would come in quickly slowing down just for him to look Shiro in the eyes and tell him to bring him the survivors. Jaiden recognizes the anger in his eyes and nods as his eyes began to shift into a new color as his irises turned red, his pupil began to shift to white, and black border began to form around his irises. Within his irises a solid white concentric circle would form and be surrounded by a dashed black circle. This was the kashogan an eye that flows through his family bloodline. He now has a infrared vision of 240 degrees and the ability to see up to 30 meters away from himself.
Jaiden would look up before taking off to the West as he got a bit away from them but was still close enough that if he needed help he could signal out. As he looked around he would create a shadow clone to help and watch his back and to help create a version of a 360+ degree line of sight. As they moved a soft whistle came from the clone which made Jaiden look to his left to see a soft heat signature that seemed to be getting weaker. He would quickly move over to it finding a young man who was curled up and shivering. As Jaiden came across him he would notice the gash on his head. Now Jaiden wasn't a medical ninja but he did have some first aid knowledge and he was gonna use it. He would rip a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around the gash and made it tight to hold the blood. The young man seem to be at least 12 years old he was slowly opening his eyes to see Jaiden just to scurry away out of fear though he didn't get far from him. "It's ok, I'm here to help you. Don't worry I'll protect you until we are back." His tone was soft and kind, he wanted to ensure that this young man was in safe arms. With his natural warm personality and smile he would open his arms as if asking for a hug. The young man would blink a few times before slowly moving over to his arms. Jaiden would gently help him up and began to move back towards Shiro and the others making sure that he doesn't lose too much blood. His clone was with them watching his back as Jaiden spoke to the young man in his arms. "So what's your name? My name is Jaiden." He asked and told him as he carried him back. "My name is Eli." The soft and weak voice said. "That's good you still remember your name, do you remember anything else?" Jaiden asked as they moved but the young man looked overwhelmed with that question so Jaiden would let it go for now. "When I get you there I'm gonna let the kage help you, if you remember what happened please tell me or him ok?" He said softly he tried not to think about why a young man like him was out here alone like this. "Ok." The young man said as he looked at Jaiden. Soon he would reappear with the young man in his arms as he moved towards the kage before gently placing him down. He would then turn around to look towards the abyssal forest once more as he knows something was out there. Now Jaiden and his clone was looking around as they both could see in infrared looking at solid things and seeing the heat signature and how cold something was as well as how close something was getting to them. If some large creature made those claw marks then it wouldn't be able to get close to them without him seeing it. This also begs the question of where the hell it came from as something this big couldn't have came from nowhere especially in the forest without someone seeing or hearing it but then again it did attack out of nowhere.
At this point Jaiden was thinking about what he can do to protect everyone. His clone was also thinking but both kept their guard up as the clone walked a slow half circle and Jaiden did too. Both meeting in the middle before walking back around and doing the same, Jaiden and his clone would look towards the areas that Kirigo and Nemui ran off to serve as eyes for them just in case something tries to attack them. Jaiden could go off to them but he didn't want to leave the new kage alone, from his point of view, unless he was told to or he has to. To him despite their ages and ranks nemui and Kirigo were kids and the feeling to protect them was as strong as he would for the young man that Shiro was looking at and the kids back at the orphanage. He couldn't turn his back from them especially out here with some type of creature that's out here almost hunting them.

Kirigo was snapped back to reality as their last acquaintance entered the room. Nemui was slightly shorter than him but he could tell by the way he’d carried himself into the office that his size didn't matter. Kirigo felt plain next to him in his full black attire, and underprepared. He could feel his palms getting sweaty as his nerves rose, the small pack he had slung over his shoulder feeling severely inadequate in comparison with Nemui’s. This was also his first team mission, as he’d only taken solo jobs so far, and was feeling anxious about all the new friends.
“Kirigo,” He introduced himself softly when they were addressed clearing his throat. He turned his attention to Ayato as he rose and addressed them. Kirigo was intrigued at the idea of a new training ground being built for the Hunter-Nin, thinking about the prospects of joining the elite group. When he’d first joined the academy, before he’d discovered his clan heritage, he’d thought about training in sensory. His new abilities had made him start thinking a little more offensively lately.
He kept his eyes focused on Shiro as he moved towards them, and analyzed each of them with his intense gaze. He was caught off guard, still leaning against the wall, when Shiro made his hasty exit. Kirigo pushed himself off the wall to follow, adjusting his bag on his shoulder and hurrying down the hallway. He watched his comrades as they walked the streets of the village, wondering what their abilities were, and if he’d get a chance to see them. He stopped With the group looking around for trouble as Shiro addressed them.
The sudden shockwave from Shiro caught him off guard making him stumble a couple of steps before catching his balance. Once he had his footing Kirigo quickly took off after him as fast as he could, his eyes glowing as he activated his Ketsuryugan, the bright white pupils searching for signs of danger. He could see the devastation around them as he caught up and made out a few faint chakra signatures around them still, showing the few survivors.
Kirigo could see the anger in Shiro’s eyes as he told them to find the survivors. As Jaiden took off to west Kirigo quickly looked around noticing another chakra signature in the bushes to the north. He took off towards the survivor,,biting both his thumbs and drawing blood, before forming the hand seals for his blood clone jutsu. He held out both his arms to his side, the clones oozing from his hands and forming on either side of him. They came upon a woman leaning against a tree about 30 meters out. She was holding her arms against her chest and he could see that it was bending at an odd angle, causing her to whimper with each labored breath. Her panicked eyes looked up at him and his clones as they broke through the bushes into the small clearing. Kirigo ordered his clones to keep an eye out, holding up his hands to show he meant no harm and slowly approaching the frightened woman. “My name’s Kirigo,” he said softly trying to put her at ease, “I'm here to help. The Kage’s here with me and a couple others. If you want I can carry you to him.” He crouched down in front of her leaving about a meter between them and bringing himself to eye level. The woman looked to be a bit older than him but the fear in her eyes made her seem like a kid who'd just heard a bump under his bed. The clones stood to either side of him, their backs facing each other as they scanned the surrounding woods with their chakra vision for any signs of danger. “Pl-please I… I can’t w- walk” The woman grunted between labored breaths. He closed the distance between them and gently scooped the woman into his arms. She winced as he lifted her giving him the impression she might have a few broken or cracked ribs too
Kirigo turned, holding the woman closely, and began to walk briskly back towards where he’d left Shiro, trying to keep his stride steady and avoid jostling the woman. The clones had taken up positions in front of and behind him keeping a space of about 3 meters each. They all stayed on high alert as they walked, Kirigo wondering what could've caused all this. He knew whatever it was they’d have to find it and hopefully before it managed to hurt anyone else. AS he came into the clearing he could see that Jaiden had already returned with another of the injured. Kirigo took the woman over and laid her next to the man. “Her arm is broken and I think a couple of her ribs are too,Sir,” he said to Shiro, “I’m sorry I couldn't do more to help.”
Once he’d finished addressing Shiro, Kirigo would turn back around and begin talking to his clones. They would form a triangle formation around Shiro and the injured, keeping about 1.5 meters between each of them. With this formation, and their Ketsuryugan Still active they would have 360 degree coverage of the forest with chakra vision. The clones each bit one of their thumbs, drawing blood to create a source in case they needed to use their jutsu.

Re: I Will Not Fall In Love. (Event Thread)

Nemui noted the name of Kirigo when the boy answered with his name in turn, although the large man remained silent. While it was a little strange, he remained unbothered. Instead, Nemui immediately had his attention stolen by Shiro as the man cracked a joke at his late arrival. The boy reached his right hand to the back of his head, scratching it with a nervous grin. Before Nemui could respond with a quip of his own however, the Mizukage stood and in response the boy returned to a neutral stance, hands by his side and eyes on the man before him.
Shiro’s explanation of the situation was easy enough to understand, with a mention of Kirigakure’s dwindling hunter ranks; Nemui wondered if the other two also had aspirations to join those ranks and if they were called upon for that reason. His gaze followed the man as he spoke while walking. Hearing that the goal now was to not draw attention to themselves, Nemui shifted his weight slightly, the heavy bag on his back taking a newly angled position. Then, as the group began leaving Shiro’s office, Nemui’s previously heavy footsteps had completely disappeared through the utilization of Silent Killing.
Not only that but the bag’s contents followed suit as the metal objects within no longer produced any noise. Nemui brought up the rear of the group and looked to Nobue before leaving the room, “See you next time.” The boy commented softly with a cheerful tone as he followed Kirigo out of the room, closing the door behind himself. From there he moved with the group as Shiro led them efficiently through the least populated areas of the village, aiming to reach their destination unseen. For this reason Nemui decided it would be best to remain silent, instead focusing on the task at hand and observing his team mates to learn how they carried themselves.
Kirigo seemed a little more athletic than the large man, while Nemui would put his own athleticism somewhere in between the pair, although none of them could hold a candle to Shiro. The Mizukage moved with such speed that, if he wanted to, the boy was convinced he could leave them all in the dust; and while there were other methods by which Nemui could alter his own speed, it would surely reveal their location. So instead he moved at the same pace as their slowest member, the larger man whose name he’d yet to learn, following behind him by a good two meters.
This allowed him to continue bringing up the rear, with the two members whose abilities he didn’t know the full extent of in the center and their strongest member at the front. Although with the various ANBU watching over them, who’s to say that such a strategic position was even necessary? Eventually, without incident, the group arrived at the Abyssal Woods treeline. With this being his first time visiting the location Nemui had hoped to admire it for a moment, however, there was no such moment of respite to do so. The boy’s attention was drawn to Shiro’s body language as the man placed a hand on his blade.
Understanding something nefarious must be afoot, Nemui steeled his nerves. With Shiro’s warning of the danger ahead of them confirming his suspicions, as the man suddenly leapt into action he would follow. Avoiding his team mates in the process, Nemui kept pace with their leader through the use of Crashing Thunder Charge. With the other two falling behind somewhat, he took note of their inability to keep pace. As Shiro came to a halt so too would Nemui, whereupon the scene of utter chaos could be fully realised.
Although his eyes could not observe everything with such clarity as the Mizukage’s Byakugan, he was nonetheless horrified and angered by what he saw. As the shinobi hiding underground suddenly emerged, Nemui would flinch in preparation for an attack. However, as the man spoke it became clear he had no involvement with the devastation surrounding them. Shiro seemed convinced as well as soon after he’d give orders for the three to rescue survivors. Hearing the large man be addressed as “Jaiden” finally gave Nemui a name to the face but that aside, following the orders he immediately departed.
Following a trail of footprints, blood and marked trees, the boy would stumble upon an injured man in his late thirties. He stood against a tree but not of his own volition as a low branch had pierced his liver, preventing him from falling. Such an injury was normally cause for death in the best of circumstances and Nemui wondered if anything truly could be done for him. He noticed evidence of the man putting up a fight, with lacerations on his arms and legs being the first sign and a second being the large bloody stick laying on the ground by his feet.
This civilian of all people had the courage to stand against whatever creature attacked them, further motivating Nemui to save him. “Sir, are you awake?” The boy asked softly on his approach. If the man were unconscious he did not want to rouse him for it would only cause him to suffer. Nemui’s only confirmation that the man still lived were the shallow breaths he continued to take. Taking a quick look around to ensure the creature wasn’t waiting nearby and using the injured man as bait, the boy felt fairly confident he wasn’t being watched.
Nemui would move closer until he could reach out and touch the man, delicately moving the torn clothing aside from his wound to inspect it. Black blood seeped from the hole and a sickly smell permeated the area. Nemui had no skill with medicine and felt the only appropriate action to take would be quickly transporting the man to Shiro. Stepping to view him from the left side, the boy wrapped his left arm around the man’s chest before swiftly striking through the branch to free him. Then, with no time to spare he immediately rushed back to Shiro while carrying him, shouting on his approach “This man is in dire need of medical care!”
Elaborating further as he closed the distance “His liver’s been punctured.” Nemui laid the man down and sat at his left side. The branch would still need to be removed if Shiro were to heal him so the boy held his hands against the wound, in preparation to do so. Given the severity of his wounds however, Nemui prepared himself to give the man a quick death if nothing could be done.

Re: I Will Not Fall In Love. (Event Thread)

Shiro heard a thunderous boom right next to him, his eyes could see that Nemui was right next to him. The young practitioner of taijutsu being able to keep up with him was an impressive feat. One that Shiro grew even more interested in as the two of them traversed through the forest almost instantly. Arriving at the destroyed campsite, Shiro gave a small nod of approval towards his Chunin, just before they had met the Shinobi who was buried underneath the ground. Yet ordering his shinobi to retrieve the bodies made him worried, especially given the two that weren’t Nemui hadn’t been able to keep up the same way. Shiro didn’t want to lose his cool, yet to see that his village had been festering something so monstrous concerned him. It reminded him way too much of those scientist logs that Kaimera had found in that mansion. That creature that had given him the large, slender scar right above his eye, and down to his cheek. Immediately, Shiro began to assemble makeshift beds for the injured, ripping off his own cloak in order to create the sheet that held the survivors and to treat them. He placed down small bits of supplies, primarily gauze, and antiseptic in order to clean off any wounds that he found. His eyes allowed him to check on all three of his shinobi at once.
Jaiden, being the first one to show up with one of the civilians, brought the young man named Eli right towards Shiro. The white haired Hyuuga quickly placed the man on top of one of the three makeshift beds. Using his byakugan, Shiro checked for any injuries throughout the man's entire body. The man had a small fracture on his left shoulder along with slash wounds on his chest and leg. They were rather shallow, probably because the man was the most able bodied out of the three victims. The young man coughed slightly, right as Shiro weaved the hand seals for the mystical palm technique. His palms glowed with greenish chakra, the young man's shoulder suddenly being poured with that same healing energy. The small fractures within the man's shoulder being patched up almost immediately, followed by focusing on the slashes to his chest and left thigh. In a few moments, Shiro had patched up Eli without too much effort. Shiro flashed a small hand seal, summoning 3 Anbu members to his side in a flash.
“Bass, take this man outside of the woods. Halibut, Salmon, stay here until the rest of the civilians have been escorted out.”
Bass, their mask lined with a pattern of greyish scales nodded. Quickly taking Eli without issue and vanishing from Jaiden’s eye. Yet Shiro knew that was going to be the easiest of the three survivors. His eyes noticed Kirigo arriving soon afterwards with another civilian, except this time they were much younger. The woman’s arm and leg were shattered from the forearm and lower leg. His eyes could also see that her ribs had been cracked, one of them hanging on by the few threads of bone and flesh. Jaiden had taken his position nearby, while the clones he had seemingly created would station themselves nearby facing Nemui and Kirigo’s positions. With Kirigo's arrival, Shiro immediately took the young girl in his arms, gently placing her down onto the kage cloak that had been turned into a makeshift bed. His hand weaved a multitude of hand seals, resulting in light bluish chakra forming around his hand. He was using the famous chakra scalpel technique, his hand still while motioning Halibut to come closer.
“Hold her still for the moment,” Shiro said while he weaved hand seals with his remaining right hand. His hand was surrounded by a bright orange light. His hand placed firmly on her abdomen first, while he used his left hand to make a small incision along her upper abdomen right below her left breast. The hand that was once blue shifted to green. Mystical palm slowly began to repair the damage eternally, with Shiro acting quickly and removing his right hand from her abdomen to reconnect the bone hanging by a thread. Cursing himself as he could see her heartbeat slowing down.
Yet he worked quickly. The glowing hand moved from nearly into her chest to just above it, the green energy surging around her wound. Her skin began to regrow, completely sealing the wound and leaving a small scar in its place. His hand went down to her left leg, the green energy surging quicker than ever, almost enveloping her leg as he could see the bone in the leg reconnecting, fixing itself just enough for her to be carried. Especially since Nemui came back with the most alarming of people. Someone’s side of their abdomen was entirely pierced through with a wooden branch.
“How the hell. . . Halibut, get her out of here, this requires my full attention,” He said. His eyes immediately focused on the man's side. Nemui stated what Shiro had already figured out. The tree branch being removed would cause him to bleed out. His eyes widened, he couldn’t believe that the man was even alive. But he couldn’t turn away someone, even if this was life or death. Immediately taking the older man from Nemui’s grasp. Shiro gasped at such damage. The older gentlemens breathing was soft, his heartbeat slow. Shiro’s left palm gently rested just above the branch's edge. His right hand goes to his pocket, grasping onto a Kunai in order to perform his duties as the kage well. In a blink, Shiro’s hand moved like lightning. Completely shredding the branch into splinters of wood and bark. His left hand moved to surround the hole that had appeared near the man's liver. The green aura forces the body to work overtime, regrowing and producing cells at a massively faster rate. He could see the older man's condition grow better. The liver healed within less than a second, followed by the muscle and finally, the skin. The man gasped in shock, blinking a few times before fully registering Shiro.
“L-Lord 6th! I-I had no idea you were here. . . T-there was a monster. . . I tried to stop it! But it lifted me from the ground and stuck me onto that tree. . . I-It was something otherworldly. . . Like the legends of Ceadeus. I-I see o-others! People covered in black and red robes! They were near that beast! Y-You have to believe me!”
Shiro held the man's hand, knowing that the man at least was speaking what he thought was the truth. Shiro motioned Salmon to escort the man out of the Abyssal Woods. Once the group of four had completely reunited, Shiro’s own presence became far more apparent. A display of his own strength quickly surrounded the young kage. His anger at the current situation hurt him to his core. Yet he also noticed something else, within his view, as he focused to see 1 Kilometer in front of him. He found a large encampment, one that seemingly had gone under the radar. People in blackened robes standing around a massive bonfire. Something that happened right underneath his nose, and he had no idea about it. Shiro turned towards his fellow Shinobi, his pearly white eyes focusing on the three before him.
“It seems that the old gentlemen was telling the truth, I ask only this of you three. Kill any who are draped in Red and black robes. There are a few hostages inside of some of the cabins. Take care of them. I will be dealing with that monster myself.”
Shiro took off in another display of his speed, this time however, the Hyuga drew upon his sword. The dark, deep ocean blue blade of Shiro reflected the glaring sun, as he traveled further into the forest, immediately appearing in front of the deranged assembly of cultists. Yet that was not what he was there for, instead, he was here for that creature. He saw it pacing just behind the cabin, it’s full form nearly 5 meters tall, its head almost looked like 2 torsos draped on top of one another, its horns twisted and malformed to resemble a second set of hands. It’s body reminded him of a massive deer, its spinal cord almost bursting out of its back. With massive, hand shaped hooves padding at the ground. The cultists immediately sprung into action, Yet Shiro merely dashed past them, intent on killing the massive beast before him.
The creature roared upon seeing Shiro lunge towards him. It’s hands near its face attempting to try and grab at the Shinobi, yet Shiro ducked underneath. His sword, held in his right hand, swung upwards. Completely amputating the creature's frontal hands, leaving it screaming out in pain as Shiro leapt half a meter to his own right. The giant bowed his head, ready to charge against the Mizukage, yet this wasn’t the same child that had fought against an abomination and came out barely alive. He knew better than ever, that he could never underestimate an opponent again. The cultists, afraid of their own god, stood back and watched with Horror, as Shiro would stand his ground against the charging behemoth, His blade, held with both hands, pointed slightly downwards, even with his own knees. He felt at peace for a moment, until the creature came within striking distance.
All it took was one attack, to completely bifurcate the creature into two halves. As within a fraction of a second. Shiro’s blade rose upwards, cloaked in dark energy, before being swung down in front of the creature's skull. A massive wave of energy rose 60 meters high, travelling a distance of 50 meters. The wave of force could be seen along the skyline itself, right as Shiro would sheathe his sword, awaiting to see what his fellow companions had done.

Re: I Will Not Fall In Love. (Event Thread)

As everyone came back with their survivors the more Jaiden fist clenched. ”How did this happen what kind of person could do this?” He thought to himself as each survivor seemed to have been worse than the last especially when Nemui brought his survivor in. Jaiden fist would clench as he stares at the man as he had a branch in his liver and obviously needed the most attention. When the anbu appeared and took the others away Jaiden eyes would fire up more as he turned to look towards the darkness once more. As Shiro finished on the old man Jaiden would turn back to him as he started to talk, in a panic, about some creature that seemed to be made up in folklore. As Shiro listened Jaiden would move towards the group more just as Shiro sent the man with the anbu before rising up. Jaiden could feel the anger from him, a feeling he too was very used to. He couldn't tell what he was doing but as he focused on one direction it told him that there was something that was out of his own sight in that direction. Just as his eyes focused he realizes that he still couldn't see it meaning it was deeper in the forest than he thought. As the kage turned to face them he could tell this was probably gonna be a fight especially with such a creature but when the kage told them to kill the ones dressed in red and black and leave the beast to him Jaiden would nod as his clone came over to join in. As Shiro took off Jaiden would inhale softly as his eyes flashed a fiery red as he got into a runners position. He knows he's not gonna be able to keep up with Shiro but he was trailing behind the other two earlier and it was time for him to step up a bit especially with the kage being there. "Let's get going then." He said as he figured there was no time to do a plan and they had to go. If they had anything they wanted to say now would be best or until they got to the area.
Jaiden would softly start to whistle a weird tun as his clothes started to flap as if wind was pushing against it. The clone would watch as Jaiden took off as a boost was given to himself from the wind. This was the wind rejuvenation technique, the clone would look at both Kirigo and Nemui as he nods. "I'm not the fastest right now but I'll stick with you two to make sure nothing comes up behind. Let's go." The clone as he started to take off after his counterpart. Jaiden normally wouldn't leave people younger than him behind but they're shinobi and his clone was there that was the main reason why he knew they would be fine. He didn't hold a candle to how fast Shiro was moving but he rather get there and help deal with the cultist while he fights the creature. As Jaiden arrived to the area he could see the heat sources coming from the cabins. From there Jaiden had to go into protect mode he needed to make sure that the hostages were gonna be protected. When the other two got there along with his clone Jaiden would motion his clone to go to a cabin and he goes to another. Seeing as there were only two of them they would move towards them using quiet footsteps before doing more hand signs then placing both hands on the ground along with his clone. They both would cause the ground to shake before it started to lower down letting the cabins disappear down going at least 20 meters down as the clone stood up. Jaiden would then create a third shadow by doing the handsigns then both leaping into action. The clone would start to move in softly whistling as well as using one hand to sign. Once he finished whistling his eyes would flash red as he used the fire invigoration jutsu before finishing the other jutsu as he would open his mouth as a 2m x 2m fireball out that blazed inches from the ground severely burning people as it did. When it finally hit the ground it would suddenly expand out a ring of fire that reached up to 20m around and trapped a few cultists. The fireball would expand out to form a large spider made from the fire ball reaching up to 2m long and 2m wide. The clone that summoned the fire spider would hold the sign for tiger as Jaiden was moving through some of the cultist his hands grabbing them and tossing some in with the spider to attack. Though he wasn't the strongest of the group he was definitely a smart man who knew the best attack he could give. His other clone would stay near the down cabins protecting them with fire jutsus and gale push to push the attackers back. Jaiden would have his kashogan still going as he tossed people into the spider's den as well as hitting a lot of people on the jugular. He would occasionally look over towards Shiro as he fought the weird deer creature. Jaiden eyes would refocus as he used one hand seals to knock back people with vacuum palm which in turned caused the flames to rise up though he wasn't just focused on just the cult he was also working his way towards the hostage that was set to be sacrificed. If the others got to them first then that would be fine because then he could focus more on the cult as he vacuum sphere to fire one at a small close range group of cultist that made them drop. He would try to get himself near Nemui and Kirigo to let him know to try to get them near the spider and clone. "Get them near the spider. The clone can take out any that's in range then get near the the sunken cabins." He said as he continues to move around kicking a couple of cultist in the chest as he punched a heavier one just for him to grab his wrist and try to toss Jaiden to the side. As Jaiden went up he would grab the big man's wrist and rotates himself to bring a leg kick down on his head freeing himself from the male as he rotated himself in the air to kick the man's jaw in.
