Hoist the Colours (TFK Missions)

Damn that felt better! Kurai finally vomited again but this time his stomach started feeling better! Kurai felt Primmy rubbing his back. It was soothing and then Jayden cracked the joke about Alcoholics Anonymous.
“I'm not as think as you drunk I am ociffer!” Kurai still managed to at least say something off the wall despite his conditions. Okay yeah he still felt like shit but his stomach felt better for the time being. And at least he managed to participate in this mission!
As they exited the boat and headed towards the village, Prim began to talk about the next Mission!
Well he had been through a lot as a missing nin before finding Fuku. Volcano Village was his first real home.
They walked around for a while before they found the kid. He was sitting on a bench near the basketball goal. Kurai turned and looked at the team as they encouraged him to do this! Good to have your team in your corner right? He walked up to the bench and slid across it as he sat down. Unfortunately the seat was slick and as he slid he bumped into the kid knocking him off the bench!
“Oh shit! Sorry kid…I'm Kurai…Kurai Tau, I'm a Genin here in Kiri.” Kurai talked to the kid for a good few minutes. Yeah he had some issues at home, a non-supportive family, Grandma was on her deathbed and they had to take care of her. The usual. But after about thirty minutes, the kid and Kurai came to an agreement, he could come talk to Kurai if he had an issue as long as he continued his training! It worked out.
“See that was easy! I managed to stay calm and convinced the kid to return to the Shinobi world.” Kurai said with a smile.
The team then went to meet up with a man and his wife to escort them on a shopping spree! It was five in the evening, the time the guy and his wife had requested.

Prim was hesitant about this mission, she wasn't sure what to expect from this kid. Quitting the academy, getting into trouble and basically attempting to live the life of a civilian after being a Shinobi in training was a clear sign of something being wrong! She didn't want to confront the kid or shame him because none of them were too sure what was going on. However Kurai actually wanted to do this because he seemed to have had his fair share of issues! And he handled it pretty well, although it was off to a fairly rough start because Kurai knocked the poor kid off the bench! But, luckily he was able to save face and continue! Pretty good for a ‘drunken sailor’, okay technically a ‘Drunken Ninja' but all in all he pulled it off fairly well!
The group congratulated him on a job well done before heading to the last mission they had to do for the day. They had to supervise a shopping spree for this elderly couple who had been receiving threats! Who honestly harasses an elderly couple? Some people seriously have no morals. The sky was getting dark again, but not just because it was evening time, but also because another storm was moving in! Despite this, the couple still had to do the shopping because they needed certain essentials including food.
The group arrived at the house at about ten minutes until five in the evening. The elderly couple had spotted the team and opened their doors allowing them inside the house. They explained everything going on and showed them the death threats and they both were visibly shaken.
“Don't worry, we will make sure you guys are safe on this shopping trip. Between the four of us, you don't need to worry, you do your shopping and we will handle the rest!” Prim assured them. The couple left the house with the foursome watching the couple closely. They arrived at the supermarket and began their shopping. Every aisle they went down, Prim was at one end and someone else was at the other end! One of the team members was guarding the front door and someone was watching the back door. The safety of this couple was their mission objective! The elderly couple only had this one trip weekly to get their essentials, hopefully all goes smoothly and eventually the threats stop coming!

Jayden watched as Kurai interacted with the kid. He flinched when Kurai accidentally knocked the kid down, but after that, he had to admit stitch didn't do too bad at all! He congratulated the Tau on doing a good job and using empathy and not getting upset with the kid.
As they approached the next location, he carefully went over the threats that had been sent to the couple! Now…why do people have to do things like this? Iean isn't it apparent if you do shit like this you end up getting caught? He handed the letters back to Prim as they formulated a plan to ensure the couple's safety. Prim was at one end of the aisle and Jayden was at the other end, Kurai and Miz would decide who was guarding the front and back doors.
As they entered the supermarket they tried to stay covert. Ninjas do go shopping after all, so it wasn't too suspicious to see them in the aisles, at least they played it off like they were shopping and not working! He could hear the raindrops hitting the roof and he was glad that at least none of them were on the roof or outside at this point. He glanced over at the couple then at Prim. Jayden looked around the store as well, knowing the ones who threatened the couple, could honestly be anyone at this point. Obviously it wasn't a small kid pulling a prank! It could be a teenage kid who didn't get their way or some adult who felt the couple had slighted them!
As the couple moved to the next aisle Jayden and Prim switched Aisles as well. It felt repetitive but it was necessary.
Jayden noticed the couple seemed to be feeling safe in their presence, which actually made this entire mission seem worth it! Sighing Jayden noticed there was a small leak in the roof and he was getting wet! A couple of kids laughed at him but Jayden snickered and rolled his eyes. He grabbed a nearby bucket and sat it under the leak mumbling to himself. It began to rain harder and the couple was discussing that they may need to leave soon. In case the storm decided to get worse. At least he knew of a small underground walkway that many people use in case of weather like this! He looked as they neared the back door as he passed by, to see who was watching it.

As Jayden and Prim guarded the couple walking around the store, Miz decided to watch the front door. He would keep an eye out for any and all suspicious activity that would walk into the store. To not look too auspicious, he sat on a bench outside by the front door, looking very relaxed like he was just waiting on a friend or something of that nature. He glanced up as people walked in and unbeknownst to the people he was sizing them up! Being a Shinobi, he had learned to quickly analyze things about people simply by glancing at them! So far, no one seemed to be a threat. On occasion he would walk in the doors and through the front around the registers then back outside again to sit on the bench. Surprisingly not many people paid attention to him! As the rain began to come down he began to relax…. something you shouldn't really do when you're doing a mission of this nature! But, Miz being a Hozuki enjoyed the rain. He decided once he was alone and not being observed he would go into puddle mode! Best way to travel and best way to observe if you want to go undetected!
Miz was finally alone and after a simple hand seal he melted into his puddle and flowed off the bench blending into his surroundings. He even went inside and patrolled around the front without a single problem! This was putting your bloodline to good use. Oddly enough, he was most comfortable this way. He even strolled around the store once passing by Prim, Jayden, the couple they were guarding and Kurai! Then he went back outside and halfway under the bench in his puddle form and stayed there. He would wait here for the others.

Somehow Kurai got stuck watching the back door! He wasn't sure how it happened, but at least he's not stuck out in the rain. As the rain hit the roof of the building, Kurai began to relax from the sound of the rain! He couldn't wait to finish the mission and go home and to bed…he literally felt like shit from the hangover and lack of sleep.
He was leaning against the wall with one foot propped up against the wall and his arms crossed against his chest! He saw Jayden walk by and as though it was a simple greeting, he flipped Jayden off. This was typical Kurai behavior. A few minutes later, he sensed a surge of chakra and he looked down by the door leading into the store and saw a puddle moving across the floor.
“Sup puddles…” Kurai said as he acknowledged his fellow team member and friend, Miz Hozuki. He knew that's who the puddle was! The only reason Kurai Sensed him was because he used his chakra Sensory skill! Hopefully the rest of this day goes smoothly, He didn't really feel up to dealing with idiots!
Kurai walked through the backroom, checking to make sure any openings were clear and making sure no one was back there that shouldn't be, this was part of guarding the backdoor. There were other entryways into the store from the backroom and he had to make sure no one entered the store through those entrances. After walking the back store room for a few minutes he found a position to stand so he could get a good view of the entire backroom! He'd stay here until it was time to leave, which would hopefully be soon, he was actually beginning to feel worse not better and he wanted to go home!

As Prim and Jayden walked the Aisles with the elderly couple, they seemed very relaxed and actually seemed to be enjoying themselves. Prim smirked as the puddle rolled behind her, she had her three tomoe Sharingan activated and could see the chakra flowing through it.
”Miz….” she said to herself knowing the puddle was actually a team mate. The rain outside added to the air of the mission themed environment. At least it was Miz out front and not Kurai. She could tell Kurai still wasn't feeling well, but at least he was still working through his sickness! She was impressed. Back in Volcano she couldn't say much for any of the members of Team Fuku Kiri, but since moving to Kiri they seemed to have changed a lot. Jayden had changed, as had his relationship with his family and Miz was finally branching out and trying to be a better Shinobi. She was proud of them.
In a way she kind of envied the couple they were watching. This was the kind of relationship Prim had wanted. Someone to grow old with and spend time with. Someone to complete her other half. And maybe, just maybe she had finally found that person! She had a huge crush on someone she just hadn't told the rest of the guys yet, considering Shikami had pushed them to their limits that one day! Honestly they kind of needed it! If her team had continued the way they were going, it wouldn't have been good to say the least. she was thankful Shikami had gotten a hold of them when he did!
Prim looked up as Kurai and Jayden exchanged glances and flipped each other off! The bond between these guys intensified since Zim's death. And it shows, luckily these guys have an amazing group of people who support them! They have all grown and she hoped it would continue this way for them through the years.
She focused back on the mission at hand, they had all done such a good job today and she couldn't help but be impressed at their growth as Shinobi. The couple began to head to the checkout after apparently having finished their shopping. The rain finally began to let up outside and this trip seemed to have gone without a single issue. As a matter of fact all the missions today seemed to have gone without a single problem. Just goes to show that their teamwork is DreamWork! At least I think that's how the phrase goes.
Prim whistled signifying the others it was time to head up to the front of the store and that they were about to leave shortly. She was actually ready to end the day anyway, she was kind of getting tired and hungry herself! As the others moved in closer to continue the watch until the couple left the store, Prim bought some drinks for the team. If she was hungry, thirsty and exhausted they probably were as well!l

Jayden watched the couple move from aisle to aisle peacefully and without worry. And as he looked at Kurai, Kurai flipped him off! He snickered and shook his head as he flipped off Kurai as well! He had to admit Kurai's true Shinobi skills were showing through to have actually made it through the entire day and every mission, hungover and drunk! And to have done a damn good. They had been through a lot as a team and they were still fairly close despite the tragedy with Zim Nara. It still haunts Jayden considering Jayden himself tried to go missing nin! Had it not been for Jaiden Goka he would have succeeded! He was thankful the elder Genin had saved him from tragedy! Shikamis wake up call after electrocuting them that day, as another factor that brought them all closer together. While deep in thought he saw a puddle roll by him!
“Miz! Bro, what the…nevermind….damn leak in the roof!” He knew it was Miz trying to be discreet so he played it off as a leak in the roof so no one else would know it was the Hozuki using his bloodline to roam the store.
“Yet if I pretended to be a candle or hide in fire….” his thoughts were cut off as Prim whistled for them. This meant the couple had moved to a register at the front of the store, so the entire group moved to different positions at the front of the store, still keeping watch!  He saw Kurai and Miz change to different areas closer to the front as well. And thank goodness Prim was practically a mind reader! He was hungry and thirsty! The bottle of water was definitely a welcome gift at this moment! He couldn't wait to get home himself to get some rest! After the couple checked out, Jayden knew the next goal was to get them home unharmed and safely to complete their mission. He had an idea to use some underground tunnels that were specifically for use during rain storms. After the couple finished checking out he led them out the door to the tunnels. It was actually also a good shortcut! They made it back to the couple's home within five minutes! They helped take in the groceries. After which the goodbyes and gratitudes were exchanged and then the team headed out to go home!
“Well I guess see you all soon for our next missions! Good working with you! Now I'm heading home to get some rest. Kurai get to feeling better bro!” Jayden said with a smile as he headed home. After he got home he took a shower and ate something then went to bed!
The missions Jayden had been doing had actually given Jayden a real sense of self worth he kinda needed.  He felt like he was achieving goals and doing something! He didn't mind hardwork.or.training after all when he signed up to be a Shinobi this was a part of the deal right? He wasn't sure what tomorrow would bring but if anything he knew he could accomplish it. He's made it this far. Why stop now? He finally fell asleep to the sound of the rain hitting his window. He heard Jeordie in the hall talking to Taki about their team, now if the 'Jounin Brother's’ are talking about you and saying good things, you're doing something right! Jayden had a smile on his face as he fell asleep with a sense of accomplishment.

Miz was enjoying his puddle! It was relaxing yet energizing at the same time! Feeling the rain fall down and the vibrations all around you. He was beginning to feel hungry, thirsty and rather exhausted as well. He had put in many hours today for these missions and had a good time picking on Kurai and spending time with his team in general! However, The drunken sailor will NEVER live this one down. But, he can't hold that against stitch, after all he did pull off the missions fairly well in his condition! Which is more than a few others he had met in his life could say. He suddenly heard a familiar whistling sound! Prim was signaling them. He reformed into his human shape and entered the building. Miz chose a spot close to the register after grabbing a drink from Primmy. He looked around still working and keeping an eye on everything and everyone around the area of the couple. As soon as the couple finished buying their groceries, Miz walked by Jayden and headed out with the team to escort the couple home! They had to use the underground tunnel due to the weather. The weather didn't bother Miz, he could hang out in the rain all day and it would not affect him negatively in any way. Some people prefer to stay dry unless they absolutely have to go out into the elements of nature.
As soon as they arrived at the elderly couples house, Miz helped carry the groceries in for them. After they were done, the couple thanked the team for their combined efforts to help them! They said their goodbyes and the team left.
“See you guys tomorrow!” Miz said as he headed towards his house. He went in and straight to the kitchen! He made himself a bowl of leftover noodles and some sushi with a large glass of water! After that he decided to take a long shower. He had been so busy lately he hadn't had time to meditate, maybe he should do that before his missions tomorrow. The shower helped him feel enough of a recharge to at least get ready for bed.
As he crawled into bed, he heard Zeb and Taki talking about meeting up with Jeordie. Then, the conversation switched over to him! Apparently he was proud of Miz. After he overheard this, he fell asleep.

Kurai walked through the store room one more time before he heard Prims whistle. This meant it was time for them to gather together at the front. As they did he noticed Prim had.gotten drinks for them. After getting hidrink he still remained a small distance away keeping watch in case he was needed. He leaves against a wall still feeling rather Ill and getting worse. He wasn't really hungry, he was thirsty and very exhausted! Kurai felt as though he was getting sicker! Sighing he followed the team outside after the couple finished paying for their groceries. They went through the underground tunnels and escorted the couple home. They helped the couple get their groceries in and then left
Kurai quickly headed home and went straight to bed. He didn't stop to eat anything or even take a shower, he felt so sick he went straight to his bean bag chair to lay down!
