- Missions:
Morning time had rolled in the village of Yugakure. This particular day it had been coupled with rolling mists and the odor of sulfur marinating in the air. This pairing had been the product of hot air from geysers outside the village displacing itself over the adjacent water bodies near the village. That sudden overtaking of the cool land's surface ended up blanketing Yugakure, lowering overall visibility despite the golden rays of the sun shining down. The light attempted to cut through the mist, though its diffused beams barely reached the village. And as the blew softly, the mist danced lazily as it slowly swirled across the land. It was as if the mist and warmth of the sun were in a battle, with the sun only carving out small patches of clarity.
Over the last few weeks Sakaiza's prominence in the village began to fluorish, allowing him to become a popular face with the unorganized shinobi force and authorities of Yugakure. Constantly he had been picking up missions, predominantly to earn ryo; though its impact on Yugakure had been slowly helping its state of chaos. Additionally as much as Sakaiza despised being in the Land of Hot Springs, he slowly grew an appreciation for its culture. It was rough and rigged, and would sharpen a fool's wit. Here, you had to be quick to pick up on things, not just to get by but to live. These type of lessons seemed important for shinobi, especially younger ones who may not have had much exposure outside of their home village. And this period of extended stay in Hot Springs gave Sakaiza an idea to implement in Hyogagakure when he returned home. It was the idea of deployments, where Hyogagakure forces could be sent out to various locations and villages to spend either a short or long period of time. The goal would be to work for the village, completing missions and other contracted tasks, but to also learn how to thrive and survive outside of your home village. Certainly some would die or defect, but those that returned would be rewarded immensely. The Wretched still had a number of things to work out with that concept, but it was an idea that seemed quite attractive to him.
Having already performed his morning routine in the Inn, Kai found himself standing outside of its premises. The burden of his Ghost armor, dark as midnight, weighed upon his shoulders. Though the missions he'd be undertaking today didn't necessarily warrant secrecy, it was most casual form of attire. And of course, his mask: which was equivalent to a visage of a ghastly demon, concealing his face except for the narrow slits which offered openings for his eyes. His partner in crime, Momo, perched on his left shoulder, ready to aid his owner in whatever endeavors they'd face today.
The first mission for him to digest today would take him to Yugakure's shinobi academy, as he was tasked with conducting a training seminar for their next generation of shinobi. Truthfully it had felt like decades since the masked man had last steppd foot inside of a classroom, but given his proficiencies he displayed in the field, he was handpicked for this task. He assumed that the reasoning was because experience trumps all. Truthfully, he had scoffed at the idea as he never had an interest in teaching nor did he think he would be good at it. But it was true that he was quite proficient in both Bukijutsu and Genjutsu, as well as Raiton and Suiton. All four facets were akin to extensions of his body. And something unknown to the village, was that his dojutsu gave him a complentary synergy of all of his skills. It was not something that could be taught though, but something that allowed him to see chakra, and somewhat tap into the darkness of it that most would skew from.
Before he had departed from the Inn, he noticed that Travin had been staying at the same one. Therefore he left a note behind for the Innkeeper to relay a message to his companion. It would essentially describe that he himself was heading to the academy today to complete some missions, and he was inviting Travin along. Since then, he had maneuvered through the village until he found himself outside the academy. It was somewhat weathered, eroded, and nearly decrepit. But it was an academy, and not until he saw it did he realize the importance of him investing into these students. When he would waltz into the building, he'd speak with the administrative aide there. She would inform Sakaiza that his sessions would be taking place in the training fields, at the rear of the building. Therefore Kai would make his way off to that direction.
When he arrived there, all of the academy students which enrolled in today's seminar stood in organized rows. Their sea of eyes all widened when they saw Sakaiza's foreign and intimidating appearance grace the fields. The sounds of whisper and gossip fluttered through the air, but the Wretched man remained silent. Instead his eyes would simply sweep them over, analyzing this young group of shinobi and relating them to those of the village he original hailed from. The village which fell, and likely all of its young shinobi with them. It was sad...the thought of many young ones falling in battle, with insufficient training and preparation for the dangers of the outside world. But it was what they signed up for as students and ultimately as shinobi. Thus, to Sakaiza, it became increasingly important for him to impart whatever level of proficiency he could to this young force.
At this point, Travin had not yet arrived, thus Sakaiza figured he would conduct the first session. When the chatter died down, Sakaiza would order the ground.
"Gather," he'd say, with his voice commanding yet subtle. Without hesitation the students would all takes steps forward, as if they were compelled by a blend of fear and eagerness. When they would, Sakaiza would unsheathe his Chakra Singing Blade from his hip and bear it in his right hand. Momo let out a small chitter in response, as Kai began to draw a line in the dirt field with his katana.
"Many of you may already know this and may see it as trivial information, but your chakra is your lifeline. Should you ever lose, misuse, or fail it then you are nothing as a shinobi...reduced to flesh, bone, and waiting to be struck down. And to use it effectively, you need discipline. Control. Willpower. Precision. Without those things, it will consume you."
His words struck the ears of the adolescent group quite heavily. They stood in silence, as he rose to his feet and again scanned over the group. "That leads me to the lesson for today. Chakra detection. All too often do shinobi fall for tricks...illusions... or Genjutsu." he'd say while now pacing. "It is because of a weakness in the mind. And by the time they detect it, they are unable to dispel it because of a lack of chakra control. What I will teach you today is the Genjutsu Release technique. Not just so that you all learn how to free yourselves of illusions, but so that you can learn how to feel chakra impacting you, and how you can manipulate the control of chakra flow in your body to go where it needs to."
Pausing in speech and in place, he'd bear the ram hand sign for all to see. "In this case, it is your hands. All of you, form this seal. As you do so, close your eyes and focus on your own chakra flow. You should funnel it, channel it, such that it focuses and concentrates into your fingers."
As he described what to do, the students would follow his orders. "Now open your eyes," Sakaiza would say while rapidly firing through a series of four handseals, which would result in the entirety of the group falling victim to his Genjutsu Binding. One by one they would find themselves stuck in place, and paralyzed with fear. At this point, he would say no more, but leave the group to figure out how to free themselves from the hold. It would take nearly a half an hour before the first group released the hold on themselves, and nearly collapsed from being exhausted. Shortly after a large influx of students would go on to free themselves, followed by the last wave of stragglers. It was taxing on the students, and so he'd give them a break after. But for those who still had energy, he would spend the next few minutes explaining to them why he surprised them and guided them through subsequent exercises for detecting and dispelling genjutsu. Kai made an effort to correct their forms, and incited them to perfect the control of their chakra. Though his demeanor had been a bit direct and abrasive, it was clear that the students valued how he conducted the lessons and demonstrated their importance as well.
Shortly after, he could hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Thus he'd take a break, turning in place to greet the person. Was it the teachers telling him his time was up? Or was it Travin, looking to conduct the next lesson? Nevertheless and unknown to Sakaiza, there was one bad egg in the group of students; who broke out from the group and exit from the academy premises. Clearly they had other plans to spend the day, and vindictive ones at that.

Travin awoke to the sounds of yelling in the streets and the smallest beam of light piercing through the blinds of his window. Not knowing what to hate more at the moment for disturbing his slumber he decided to hate them both equally for now. Rolling over and looking at the clock he saw that it was almost 9 am. He had managed to sleep in slightly but he had wanted so much more sleep, and couldn’t see how people could live like this on their days off. Still getting up early in the day even though they didn’t need to “Why” he mumbled to himself before following it up with “Fuck that sun” as by now the yelling at came to a stop and whatever had caused the commotion was now gone. Rolling on over and sitting up in the bed Travin ran his hands through his hair as his feet hit the hardwood floor and he let out a massive stretch almost getting a cramp in his bicep, but it felt so good that it would have been worth it, or at least he thought so. Knowing that if he had actually gotten that cramp he would have been pissed at himself for getting the cramp. Standing up and walking over to relieve himself in the bathroom Travin was finally awake, and needed to figure out what he was going to do with himself today.
Walking back over to the bed he started to grab his clothes that he had laid out on the chair beside it. Sliding his pants and shirt on before sitting down to put his boots on. He figured that he would walk down and get some breakfast before they stopped selling it. He only ever really had time to eat breakfast on his days off, and those days were the days he tried to sleep until they started serving lunch. Not that he didn’t like breakfast, but that he really liked catching up on his sleep more. Grabbing his mask and walking out the door making sure to shut it behind it, and lock it as well. Travin placed the mask on his right hip leaving his face revealed, and walked down the stairs. He was getting several looks as most of the people in the Inn hadn’t seen him with his mask off, but with it being his day off and he was coming to eat he didn’t feel like putting it on he would though once he was done eating. With his order of eggs, bacon, and some orange juice placed. Travin waited for his order to arrive, and once it had gotten back to him the waitress gave him a note as well. It was written on a scratch piece of paper with his name on it. She said that Kai had left it for him this morning. Since apparently they were both staying at the same Inn and he was going to be running some missions today. Travin looked at the lady and asked why no one bothered to bring it to his room. If he had known sooner he would have gotten up sooner and would already have met up with Kai.
With his meal done Travin walked out of the Inn and started to make his way to the academy. Kai had stated that the first mission was to teach some kids at the academy about chakra and ninjutsu. Travin wasn’t too sure on what all Kai could do, other than that fan trick he had done in the small fight they had gotten into, but he did know that himself was pretty good with taijutsu and medical ninjutsu. Something that did require a solid bit of chakra control and that is a massive part of learning how to use any kind of jutsu. The inn was not too far away from the academy so the walk wouldn't be too bad. Sliding his mask over his face and pushing his hair back behind its horn. Travin walked out of the inn and into the streets. The combination of the weather hitting the village right now was still reducing visibility, but it was mostly fine as Travin was able to easily see through it still.
Turning the corner Travin could see the academy straight ahead. Looking into the back field or the training field of the academy depending on what people wanted to call it. He could see Kai standing in the field in front of a bunch of kids and they all seemed to be falling over from exhaustion one at a time. He was able to figure out that he had placed them all under some kind of paralysis jutsu and was forcing the kids to break it. Travin thought that it wasn’t that bad of an idea to teach them how to control their chakra but it wasn’t the best to learn refined chakra control. Walking into the field and up to Kai Travin looked at his partner before turning around and facing the kids. They had been given a few minutes to recover the chakra they had spent. “Breaking free of that jutsu is a great start to learn how to access your chakra” Travin would turn and walk in a line directly in front of the kids. “In that exercise you learned how to push your chakra to break free. I will teach you how to channel your chakra and control it to perform what you need it to do.” With that Travin walked over to the tree that was in the field and placed one foot on it and started to walk up it with the surface walking tech. Reaching the top of the tree Travin would turn around and look at the kids. “This is called the surface walking tech. You have probably seen multiple shinobi use it, as it is one of the most used jutsu in a shinobi’s arsenal, and the first one that most master to the highest degree. Every day you must practice till it comes to you as easily as I have shown here.”
Travin watching over the kids and Kai from his height advantage watched as one of the kids had other plans apparently and decided to jump the fence. Travin watched as he used the clone jutsu to run into someone knocking them down as they tried to get out of the way of something that could never have hurt them in the first place. Jumping down from the tree and landing on his feet with a roll Travin would look at the kids for a moment “Stay here and practice” he would tell the kids and he ran and jumped the fence looking for Kai to see if he was going to be on the chase as well.

Re: Wasted Times

As the footsteps drew closer, the body associated with them would be none other than Travin's. To greet him, Sakaiza offered a soft nod and tap on the shoulder as he passed him by. He himself would then maneuver to Travin's rear, supervising the field and the students all together. That is when he noticed one student attempting to break free from the group, causing a bit of a commotion in the process. This occurred during Travin's portion of the lesson, where he was doing a good job of teaching the students how to use a basic technique to funnel chakra into their feet. Similar concept, yet different application to what Sakaiza's lesson was centered on. Nevertheless, Kai could not keep his focus on Travin's lesson, as he now witnessed the student breaking free from the group entirely and pushing some other students over. The student then made a dash for the fence which encompassed the fields, escaping from the academy grounds.
Pulling a student to the side, Sakaiza would ask, "Who was that?"
"Hisao. He's a skilled, know it all, troublemaker," the child said with vex before getting back to his lesson.
With a sigh, the Wretched would refrain from commenting and would instead take off after the kid as a somewhat calm pace. As he did so, he could hear Travin's words instructing the students to remain at the fields and practice. Seeing as the kid had a solid head start, Sakaiza and Travin would both need to traverse the entirety of the field before being able to scale the fence. Therefore thekid may have been 2 minutes of distance away from the pair, but as soon as he crossed the fence and disappeared off into the village, that time differential would increase depending on how quickly the duo could track him down.
With the student going rogue, it was a bit of an anomaly even in a village as in disarray as Yugakure. However with his name, Hisao, it would potentially be easier to ask around the village if they had seen him. Especially if he was a notorious trouble maker. But Sakaiza somewhat knew his type, a potential prodigy by the village's standards, likely bored with the current curriculum, and potentially looking for a way to entertain himself. Talented, yet impatient. Reckless, but very gifted. This type of child could grow to be either a blessing or a curse by the village, but only if his power was checked and properly developed. But rebelling by terrorizing the academy, village, and its civilians was not the way, even if it was because of boredom or lack of engagement.
As Sakaiza vaulted over the fence, Momo would telepathically convey to his partner that he was somewhat nervous. It was an indication that his senses were heightened, and potentially that his instinct suggested that this may not bode well. However, Sakaiza was more than prepared to deal with this threat in as peaceful of a way as possible. He had no intention of harming the child, but did desire to quell teh threat entirely. Sakaiza would reassure Momo the mission would go well, so long as Travin was also on the same page. Though as Kai was busy with sprinting after the rogue, he didn't necessarily have the time to relay his desires of pacifying the target rather than neutralizing him. Perhaps this could be another unspoken test for Travin to see how he might deal with a problem of this nature.
As it was morning time, the streets were relatively quiet. Most were either still in their beds, or at work. Therefore the streets were not bustling, and so it was easier to potentially track down this child. Momo would leap from Sakaiza's shoulder, soaring high and into the sky to get an aerial view of the street. This would be quite useful as Kai and Travin covered the ground view. With a blink, Sakaiza's Meigan would activate. Resultantly the world around him would begin to develop another layer, one which painted a view of different chakra profiles throughout the streets. And so the signatures of various people flared to life, revealing those of living beings within Sakaiza's detection radius that he otherwise would not have seen with his bare eyes. The Wretched would scan the area, looking for any signs of a potent chakra source or traces of it. And interestingly enough it wasn't long before he spotted it.
Vandalism.
A certain store had been completely subject to ransack and rampage in only a matter of minutes. The glass had been broken, items seemed stolen, and a grand display of potent fire jutsu seemed to burn and singe a significant portion of the store. Luckily the store owner was outside, unharmed yet cowering in fear. Sakaiza would unsheathe his katana and using one of his water breathing bukijutsu techniques, he'd offer a low powered blade of water which would dispell the flames in the shop. Resheathing his blade, he'd walk over to the merchant.
"Let me guess, a young academy student did this?"
"Y-yes! Exactly! I had been receiving threats about this very thing happening. And also threats about my home. Please, you have to help me!"
"Listen, I need to find this student Hisao first, then we can address the other threats you're dealing with. Which way did he go?"
"This way!" the vendor pointed, off to the northern direction down the cobblestone streets leading to the market square.
By this point Travin and Kai were adjacent to each other, and would have heard the same story. Kai would offer him a nod, and then take off after the boy. Shortly after, Momo would land and reperch onto Sakaiza's shoulder, confirming the direction that the merchant offered. The group should eventually follow the pathway, round a corner, and then they would note Hisao standing right in the center of the market squad. His eyes had been fueled with flame as his hands emitted embers. The boy was busy, hurling fire at anything that caught his eye until his attention was broken.
"Hisao," Sakaiza' boisterously called out, his voice as sharp as the blade he drew simultaneously to cut and dispel a stream of incoming flames. Freezing in place the boy stopped to face the trio.
"You need to stop down this pathway, there is only destruction that lies ahead."
"This village is nothing more than an embarrassment. Students aren't developed, and order isn't maintained. Why shouldn't I join in on the fun?" the child called back.
Sighing, Sakaiza would sheath his blade. He was confident that the child couldn't harm him, not only due to the reinforcement of his armor, but also the magnitude of their power differences. "You have talent, potentially a diamond in the rough. But talent without any type of discipline yields nothing but destruction. And this is your home..."
Now there was a break in Sakaiza and Hisao's exchange, allowing for a smooth opportunity for Travin to speak up and add his insight to the conversation. Hopefully it was something that would help pacify the boy's rage.

Travin followed Kai over the fence, only taking a second to look back and make sure that the kids were going to stay in the practice field. He had overheard one kid tell Kai that the runaway was named Hisao. Travin didn’t really care about the boy's name, all he knew was that if the boy was going to go so far as to run away in mid lecture what would he also be willing to do with time, if he did not take this chance to teach him what the world was going to be like for people like he was trying to be. He was coming up with a plan, but he was going to need Kai to trust him and have a good eye for timing. He was confident in Kai being able to do this as it was basic for any shinobi. Assuming that Travins assumptions of Kai being a high ranking shinobi only made him more confident of it.
The duo arrived at the burning down shop and while Kai was putting out the fire with his water jutsu. Something that Travin was simply unable to do. Instead Travin talked to the shopkeeper walking up to him “A child between 3 and 4 feet tall, brown hair and going by the name of Hisao” Travin would ask before the shopkeeper gave him a nod. “What direction” he would ask as the shopkeeper pointed down the street. Travin would walk over to Kai “he went that way. Follow my lead I have an idea, and stop me before the final blow can be laid” Travin would tell Kai before turning and running after Hisao. Having spent some time in the city Travin was starting to get used to the winding streets now. Waving for Kai to follow Hisao down the street. Travin turned down an alleyway that would let him get in front of Hisao. Arriving in the small square of a shopping district Travin would see Kai arriving about the same time if he followed Travins plan, and would be out of sight waiting for his time. Only for them both to see Hisao launching fireballs into the building.
Travin walked out from the shadows of the alley way and into the light. “There you are, been looking for you. I was wondering how I was going to get you away from the school and that other shinobi. Having to teach them how to use chakra” he would let off a menacing laugh, as Hisao launched what appeared to be the Fox Fire jutsu at him. Travin simply walked forward putting his hand up and blocking the small fireballs with the palm of his hands. The kid was gifted but not strong enough yet to do any real damage. “Yes, put up a fight. Everyone always does one of three things when I come to kill him for the bounty. Fight and die, run and die, or simply beg for life and then die.” Hisao seeing the fireballs have no effect on Travin was starting to back off.
“What do you mean, what bounty?” Hisao would ask with the sound of fear. He was standing a few meters away from the wall to another shop. Travin moving at max speed closed the 10 meter gap between them in what appeared to be the blink of an eye to Hisao, and landed a straight kick to Hisao’s chest aiming for a high spot on the shoulder, so as not to actually harm Hisao. The kick would send Hisao flying into the wall and slamming into it Hisao would yell out in pain. Looking up at Travin in true fear staring into the yellow eyes gleaming through the mask. “I do love this part” Travin would say as three bones slide out from between the knuckles of his right hand. “Tell me kid you want an open coffin or closed” walking closer to the kid. Hisao tried to climb up the wall as Travin closed in on him. “What's wrong, didn't you want to be a rogue ninja? Hanging out in the wilds living off what you can find doing whatever work you could get your hands on, and dealing with shinobi like me after you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You already got a bounty on your head the longer you keep going the bigger it's going to get. Sometimes we let you keep going to let that bounty rack up and cash in a good payday. However, I am leaving soon and could use the money now.”
Now within striking range Travin would dramatically pull back his arm aiming to strike Hisao in the head. Holding his arm back for far longer than anyone actually wanting to kill someone would ever think about doing it, but in this situation he was giving Kai time to close the distance and get his blade in between Travins bone claws and Hisao. With all of Hisao’s attention on the bone claws themselves that were about to penetrate his skull he was not paying any attention to anything else at the moment. Once he heard the footsteps that he was hoping Kai Travin would start to move his arms at half speed, making sure that it was easy enough for Kai to block without any problems.
Assuming that Travins plan worked out, Kai showed up and blocked the strike. Travin would take a step back keeping the claws out. “You want to protect this kid,” he would ask Kai. leaving it open for Kai to give the kid a motivational speech or something to get him back on the right path. It was a skill that Travin never developed; he knew his own strengths and weaknesses fairly well and knew that speeches were not one of them. However, Kai ended up going about it. Travin would agree to leave the kid alone and alive, but only if the kid gave them a name for someone stronger, someone that was teaching the kid how to do this, and someone that could pay much better.

As the events transpired, Kai and Travin would find themselves in the Market Square facing off against the child. Though Sakaiza's calm approach on the child seemed to be working, it seemed as if Travin had a different plan in mind. Shortly after Kai had talked him down, Travin came into the scene as the "bad cop" of the scenario. He seemed to be playing on the boy's naivety and fear, boasting that now seemed to be the perfect opportunity to claim his bounty on the child. Sakaiza, curious as to how this would play out, kept quiet. Keeping his position he'd simply fold his arms and shift his weight towards his back foot. By this point, Travin had already began to rough the child up, starting with a swift kick to his upper torso. The kid, though talented, did not seem to have much durability. It was evident by the force that he took the kick at, sending him hurling into the wall behind him. What was interesting to the Wretched, was how well Travin seemed to be playing into this role. It almost gave a bit of insight on his past and what his true personality could have been like. It was not concerning, as Sakaiza would ultimately need an efforcer of sort. And the dynamic could be an interesting pairing along with his own and Jupiter's.
Nevertheless, he'd watch with his interest piqued, but would now make his walk over to the boy at a leisurely pace. Silence ensued the market square as Kai, someone who had become notorious for doing good in the village, unsheathed his blade once more and lowered it so that its tip trailed against the ground behind him. It run with a sharp metallic hiss, contributing to the chilling scene which Travin painted. Though he was reluctant in harming the boy, Sakaiza wanted to play the part to convey a sense of coordination between the men. And so with each step he took, the soft grind of the steel scrapping smoothly over the cobblestone road grew harsher. It along with his footsteps echoed throughout the air, undoubtedly making the kid's heart race tenfold. And right as Sakaiza closed the distance entirely, he'd slowly raise his blade so that it brushed against the kid's neck. It allowed him to feel the sharpness of the sword, and simultaneously let the gravity of the situation sink in.
Sakaiza would look into the boy's eyes, and immediately activate his Reveleation of Evil Intentions as his Meigan flared through the mask. His voice would lower from the previously calm tone it exhibited, so that now it seemed much more stern and dark. At this point he got the intel from the merchant and could tell this boy was too brash to coordinate anything on the level of stalking the merchant. When Travin would inquire about Sakaiza protecting the boy, Kai would simply scoff.
"Tell me boy, who are you working for?"
Hisao, now under the effects of the Genjutsu, was dazed and confused. But simply muttered out, "Jozen, a former Chunin. He's probably...pr...probably waiting for the merchant at his house, just north of h...here..." With that effort, the kid simply passed out due to overstimulation and overexertion. He should fall from Travin's grasp, leaving him immobile and unconscious so that the approaching authorities could apprehend him.
Sakaiza would resheathe his blade again, cancel his Genjutsu, then look upon Travin. "Good work, we need to find this Jozen." With the information in hand, Sakaiza would leave the boy to the authorities then make his way north. Interestingly enough it really was not far away, and it was relatively easy to spot. As the merchant's home bore significant similarities to his vandalized shop. And it was large, easily something that could be attributed to the wealth of a successful business owner. "Stay alert," Sakaiza would say to Travin, which was more rhetorical than anything. He would keep his Meigan activated and begin to scout the area's exterior first. There were no signs of any break ins, of trails of chakra, so clearly this person had stealth on their side. Some hours would pass of the group searching, so many that the light of day began to break and the sky started to darken. It grew quiet, but Kai's instincts led him to believe that something was brewing. For it was too quiet.
As Sakaiza began to expand his search to the interior of the home, that is when he caught the glimpse of a figure amongst the shadows. They were quick, but Kai had been quicker. Immediately Kai would appear endowed in a cloak of chakra, and to the assailant it would appear as if only he and Sakaiza existed on somewhat of an astral plan of darkness. Then immediately Sakaiza would fade away, and the assailant Jozen would see nothing but a sea of darkness. He'd freeze in place, and in turn Sakaiza would stand motionless.
There was some separation from Sakaiza and Travin at this point, so Sakaiza would begin in brief dialogue with the man. This would likely given Travin some time to come in for a clean kill.
"This is finished," Sakaiza would say coldly, clearly annoyed with how today's events transpired. "I do not care why you've corrupted Hisao, why you're stalking the merchant, or any of your motives. Just know that it all ends today."
Should the coordination between Sakaiza and Travin be seamless, Travin would kill Jozen right then and there. But if he hadn't been around, Sakaiza would quickly cancel his genjutsu, raise his blade, and extend a precise beam of Catacylsm chakra through the man's heart.
He would not even bother to clean up the scene, leaving the dead man in the merchant's quarters as a sign that the work was done. But he would sheathe his weapons, then storm out the front door. Though the day had been productive, Sakaiza was truly over this village and its nonsense. And so before he departed from Travin, he'd simply look at him and let out a "Two days," with his point and middle fingers signaling the peace sign. This was his way of reiterating to Travin that they were getting the hell out of Yugakure, and he could not wait. But in exchange for his friend’s patience, he’d hand over 30,000 ryo.

Travin stood and watched as Kai interrogated the boy. He was using some kind of genjutsu to get the boy to tell them what they wanted to know. It was something that Travin made note of. While he somewhat trusted that Kai was someone that wouldn’t betray him, he was still not ready to trust that they will never have to fight. Making a mental note that Kai used Genjutsu, and filing it right beside the question of who and what rank did Kai carry in Hyogagakure. Once the kid gave up the name and location letting the duo know that it was some chunin by the name of Jozen and that he was probably stalking the shop merchants home right now. Travin and Kai were both off to the location of the shop merchants house. They were able to easily find the merchant's house simply due to the size of it and the resemblance it had to the shop itself. With the sun still out in the sky Travin figured that the heist would probably not happen till later tonight, and that the merchant was probably going to be killed. To give this Jozen the time he was going to need to get whatever he was wanting out of the house. However, if the two were lucky they might come across him before he started the heist. Spreading out around the area Travin was making sure that he was staying within line of sight of Kai and was trying to keep Kai within his own line of sight for the most part.
Travin was trying to blend but with his outfit he was probably having as much luck as Kai was going to. After all, the two’s outfits did not offer the options to blend into a crowd. With that in mind Travin walked up the side of a building across the streets of the merchants house, and decided that the best he could offer at this point was a pair of eyes. Taking a seat down behind the lip of the roof Travin would keep an eye out for anything happening. It was here that he was going to be seated for a few hours just watching as the people of the district walked around and did their daily business. He watched as one of the people sat and ate some food from a food cart on the corner, and realized that he was so bored waiting that he was watching someone eat food. While making up the conversation that they were having with the cart vendor. It was at that point that Travin stopped staring and started looking around once more, even standing up and walking for a bit before sitting back down.
Once he had sat back down Travin noticed that it was starting to get dark now, the sun going down and the moon starting to rise once more. He had a feeling that this chunin Jozen was going to be arriving to make his move soon. Travins started to really pay attention to any movement that he saw, even the slightest flicker of something was catching his eyes. When he noticed a young man with short brown hair and a scar under his right eye, and wearing a combination of black and brown clothes. It was clear that this was a shinobi and was probably the shinobi that they were looking for. Travin watched as Kai came out of the shadows while at the same time dropping from the roof that he was perched on to the ground. Travin walked over to where Kai was walking up to the rogue shinobi. Travin watched as Kai activated some kind of jutsu. He was unsure as to what it did, but he was pretty sure it was probably another genjutsu. He listened to Kai explain to the rogue shinobi Jozen that he didn’t care why he was corrupting Hisao. While he closed the distance as he was walking up his suspicion of a genjutsu in use, was cemented when the rogue shinobi Jozen didn’t make any move or even act like he even noticed Travin walking up and to the side of him. Letting the three bone claws grow out from between the knuckles of his right hand. Travin would slip the extremely sharp bone claws into the throat of the rogue shinobi Jozen. Feeling the blood of the man roll down the bone claws and onto his hand. He was able to feel the body go limp and fall to the ground as the man's heart was unable to keep up with the demand for blood.
Travin turned and looked at Kai swinging his bone claws to the side as the blood flew off of them before they retreated back into his hand. Kai held up two fingers and called over to Travin 2 days later. To which Travin replied letting Kai know he had something to do in the land of tea and would meet him at the village. Travin was really wanting to get out of this village, but he was also wanting to make some more money. However, the several days of work in a roll was starting to get to him, and he decided that he was going to need to get some rest and relax for a while before crashing for the night. Returning back to the inn Travin ordered up a hot bath tossing some money on the table for the bartender told him to give them a few minutes and one of the waitresses would come get him and take him to his bath, and assist him in whatever was going to be needed. Sitting at the bar for a few minutes Travin simply waited with his elbows resting on the bar while he waited for the waitress to show up. Once she did Travin followed her up the stairs and she joined him in the bath to help get his back among other things.
With his stress levels back down, Travin returned to his room for the night taking his mask off and sitting it beside the bed.
