Toxin Replication Cells
Sun Jan 28, 2024 9:39 am
Skill Name: Living Toxin Replication
Appearance: No Visible change of appearance once process complete
Backstory: Through rigorous testing and exposure of his cells and chakra to toxins, Hibiki has managed to extract and replicate ingested or administered toxins and recreate the effects within cell sample replication that includes administering the particular toxin into his body, curing the majority of the poison then extracting a sample of surviving cells and encouraging replication with medical ninjutsu and chakra application to leave trace amounts of the toxin that is then re-administered into his body. The process is risky as it requires that the user have the poison administered into their body, begin to take effect before it can be healed and then extracted for the remainder of the process. This does not provide any immunity to the poisons, but instead allows Hibiki to replicate their effects when using toxin based jutsu techniques such as Poison Mist without requiring the item or dosage to be used.
To use this technique the user must administer or be attacked with a toxin not produced wholly by a jutsu, (jutsu that have toxins applied using doses from items or equipment can still be replicated), and then must be healed using medical jutsu during the same thread. Cells must be extracted within 24 hours of having healed the toxin and taken to an advanced medical facility or location with medical equipment available in order for the replication to be completed.
This ability can be used as a basis for further techniques or jutsu that utilise this ability.
Each replicated toxin requires 500 wc in order to be stored within the body. This is in addition to the cost of this skill.
Wordcount: 3,000, This skill is Slotless
Character Specific: Sato Hibiki or those taught by him
Bonus Requirements: Medical Specialty, Apothecary Skill and at least one technique at minimum of A-Rank that can create or administers toxins.
