Appearance: A short, thin, pale-skinned boy. With a mop of messy black hair left wildly untamed. His eyes are a dark grey but are known to be very expressive despite the hue. Clothing wise he wears comfy and normal clothing a civilian boy would wear. Adjusting his outfit to suit the changing of the seasons. One item of clothing that is a constant in his attire is his favorite leather bracelet. A gift from his father and a reminder that no matter what to "remember to be brave."

Personality: Isamu is a bright and intelligent youth. While his attitude is mild on his best days. And stormy on his worst. He is a genuine and determined person. Who rather use his smarts to cause mischief around the village despite his brilliant mind. He is known for his short temper. And his propensity to get into fights.

He has a lot of pride in himself and his Clan and can't handle insults well without lashing out petulantly. He suffers from the usual growing pains. And struggles with his own self-worth and ego. Causing him to become even more frustrated with himself. And ends in a cycle of him acting out and getting into tussles to soothe his confused feelings.

Despite his faults, he is a good lad. He wishes to learn and grow as a shinobi. His desire to protect those he cares for is instilled in him from birth. Leading him to become defensive for his friends, family, and clan - even though they don't approve of it. He's a tad reckless and doesn't quite understand the ramifications of his actions. But he's getting there.

In the future, his temper will mellow out. He'll become more withdrawn. And develop a standoffish attitude. However, as he grows older. His loyalty to his village and people will only grow. As well as his desire to protect the weak and needy. Of course, for now - he's simply trying to figure things out. And to navigate this maze we call life... Or something like that.

History:

Born thirteen years ago, in Konohagakure no Sato. Isamu was the last child out of five. As the youngest, he was spoiled by his parents and siblings. The safety of Konoha and his Clan made him oblivious to the state of the Ninja world. And thus he lived a rather carefree life. However, he saw his siblings go off to the Academy to become a ninja. And knowing his family were shinobi themselves. But he never understood the nature of it all. And the world that he inhabited.

Only for an incident with a missing-nin, his father failed to stop on a former mission. Led to a break into their home. Isamu was greeted by the sight of the dangerous shinobi and was struck with intense fear. His father would come to save him in a quick and gory fashion. Leaving Isamu traumatized. He had never seen his joyous father like that.

Like a killer.

Kneeling down, covered in a splatter of blood he took off a leather band and clasped it into Isamu's own unmarred one. Smiling the words he spoke to him were burned into his memory. He held on to them whenever he became afraid. "Whenever you're scared. When things become too much to handle. I want you to feel this, to look at this bracelet. And remember that you are brave." Etched into it was his name in bold black ink: "Isamu": "Brave".

From then on Isamu would keep the namesake on his wrist. Even when he would start his first day at the shinobi academy. He was nervous, scared even. But he remembered... "Be brave". Now, a few years later he has yet to graduate. Having gotten too accustomed to academy life and goofing off has led to poor grades and general tomfoolery.

However, Isamu won't give up. He'll graduate! And become a shinobi like his mother, father, brothers, and sisters! Like the rest of his clan! Now, with his loyal ninken at his side. He is ready to take on the academy for real this time! Nothing would stop him! He would become a shinobi of the Village Hidden in the Leaves!

This was genius!

A scraggly-haired youth suppressed his amused snickering as he put the finishing touches to his grand design.

Sensei had put their guard down. The young Inuzuka played nice and well-behaved the past month to throw them off his tracks. But today, today he was finally putting his plans in motion!

It was a trap he designed himself. The moment sensei went to move their chair to sit down, the trap would activate and douse them with water! It was foolproof! He had spent the whole month planning it out! Sneaking into the academy after dark. Setting up the traps with only lamplight. It was super hard to get everything to work out. But it ended up working out perfectly!

Now he just had to wait...

Sitting expectantly at his desk he leaned in as he watched his sensei pull out the seat. Watching as they got covered in water, he could no longer hold back the laughter he had been hiding this whole time.

"ISAMU INUZAKU!" Came the bellowing roar as fear crossed his face in a matter of seconds. 'Uh oh...' He thought. "JUST WAIT UNTIL YOUR PARENTS HEAR ABOUT THIS!" Isamu paled drastically as reality hit him like a ton of bricks.

Mom and Dad? Oh no! They'd kill him! Quickly he scrambled up from his seat and darted out the classroom window, diving into the nearby tree. Intent on making a hasty retreat. He could hide out for a few days at his favorite spot! Surely this would blow over and everything would be right as rain! ... He gulped as he sweated a bit. Hearing his sensei's curses from the open window.

R-Right?

Sticking to the shadows that sporadically blanketed the village during the noonday sun. Isamu tried to stay quiet and downwind from his parents' sensitive noses. As an Inuzaku he knew the infamously strong-smelling abilities his clan held. And knew that if his parents were looking for him. They would find him by familiar scent alone.

After looking behind him a few times he felt the coast was clear. Before he was mere meters away from his goal. However, he froze at the sound of a familiar swooshing wind. And the thud of feet on hard ground. And on top of that... a voice. A very familiar voice that was none too pleased about his antics.

"Isamu Inuzaku."

It was his father. Of course, he would find him first. His tone was dripping with disappointment. It was firm and slightly cold. A shiver ran through the youth's body as he refused to turn around. Afraid to look into the cold eyes that would stare back. Not only that, the guilt for his attitude gnawed heavily at his heart and brain. He felt he couldn't face his dad his mother or sensei like this.

It was... embarrassing...

"Isamu." He felt a powerful grip on his shoulder as his father's voice sounded very close. "We're going to have a talk. You, me, your mother, and your sensei." Isamu gulped as he nodded. Knowing that he was doomed to his fate. He had failed to get away and his mind was filled with all sorts of punishments he would have to do deal with for his 'crimes'. What if they made him clean the kennels for a week?! Or not let him have sweets for a month?! The young Inuzaku couldn't bear such horrors!

So, hoping to save face. He attempted to meekly apologize which only fell on deaf ears. Before he could utter another word. There was a rush of wind as he and his father vanished. Only to reappear in a room he knew so well. There sat his sensei and his mother who had a very scary smile on her face. As dread coursed through his body. He let out a pathetic whimper.

"Now, Isamu. Let's have a little chat."

Ah... he was screwed...
