What it does: Once this technique is activated, the nin will produce a small area of Black Lightning around their body, before surging it upwards into the shape of a panther. This beast of black lightning will remain tethered to the caster by a line of black lightning after it’s casted; thus forth enabling the caster to freely manipulate the panther after it’s creation. The panther itself is 3x5x5 meters (width/length/height), whereas the tether being 1 m round in it’s total diameter, circular in shape. The construct can travel up to it’s specified maximum range listed above depending on the rank this technique is being used at. Any attempts at making the Black Panther run beyond this range will automatically fail, with it simply not moving out of range.
Anything that comes into contact with either the black panther itself or the tether that it’s attached to will be subject to will be subject to the normal stat checks given by Black Lightning passively as well as take damage equal to jutsu power. In terms of clashing, Lightning Release: Black Panther is unaffected by attacks/techniques that deal physical damage, but will clash normally against those that deal chakra damage. If either the tether or the panther is destroyed by a technique with greater power than this one, then this one will be forced onto cooldown. Additionally, this technique has a unique interaction when coming into contact with a natural body of water or one created by the caster. If the panther lands/dives into it’s surface, the lightning chakra will disperse; creating a shockwave that goes out in a circle centered on the point of it’s landing. This circle’s total diameter is equal to the range of the technique, and anything within this area during that post will be subject to this tech’s effect. After this shockwave happens, Black Panther goes on cooldown.
