- Personality:Yazui has a clean, smooth face with blue eyes. He has brown, curly hair in a natural perm, adding several inches to his height. He is almost always seen wearing round sunglasses with a metal frame and a reflective surface, shielding his eyes from the rest of the world. While only an accessory, these glasses are so tied with his appearance that only the people close to him know what his eyes really look like. He has naturally youthful features that, combined with his relatively short stature and casual attire, make him seem younger than his actual age.As mentioned before, Yazui has below average height. However, he is very athletic and muscular, a given considering the lifestyle of a shinobi requires him to be in peak physical condition. He is built for speed, athletics and agility more so than raw strenght. His old Kumogakure forehead protector is worn around his neck like a scarf, a cut through the villages’ symbol.In terms of clothing, Yazui is mostly seen wearing his dark red traveling coat. Underneath this, his clothing varies. He kimono-like shirts with subdued colours and loose-fitting, baggy pants with ankle-high shinobi boots. He usually wears a belt around his pants, which also holds several pouches containing his weapons, scrolls and other shinobi tools. Finally, he usually wears dark, fingerless gloves around his hands.Outside of battle, Yazui usually slouches around with his hands tucked in his pocket or leaning on nearby walls or objects, giving him a laid-back appearance.

- Yazui is a deceptive individual. Preferring to stay beneath notice, Yazui often dumbs himself down or plays up parts of his personality in order to get people to drop their guard around him. This gives him more room to observe others in their natural habitat. On an average day, Yazui displays a laid-back, chummy and somewhat goofy disposition. His interactions with others are characterised by casual banter, playful jokes and insults and an almost childlike enthusiasm for the things he likes, especially cooking and food, while seemingly never taking any situation seriously. He generally acts friendly with others, putting them at ease by telling them what they want to hear or whatever makes Yazui seem harmless. The truth in this lie is that these quirks are all genuine parts of Yazui´s personality.In truth, Yazui is an intelligent and perceptive man who actively gathers any information he can find on the situation at hand to arm himself or gain the upper hand at a later stage. He possesses a keen interest the various clans and fighting styles of the shinobi world as well as the history of its various wars and events. Yazui’s desire for information is as much natural curiosity as a way to insulate himself against unexpected situations. This habit even extends to combat situations; when faced with uncertainty he prefers to observe his opponents to gain an understanding of their abilities before formulating a battle plan. If he comes across a technique he can’t defeat, he will analyse its workings as well as he can and focus on developing a new technique or move that can properly counter it.Whenever Yazui doesn´t feel the need to hide his true feelings or opinions, a shift in his disposition occurs. This happens in situations whenever he feels confident that he has the upper hand one way or the other. His speech becomes more measured and his mannerisms become more blunt as he will state his opinion on the matter regardless of anyone’s feelings.By nature, Yazui is prideful, impatient and easily enraged. He is an individual who validates his own existence by his skill as a shinobi, the lives he takes and the fear and awe he can strike in others. He hates to be outdone and has an obsessive desire to leave his mark on the shinobi world. He is prone to making rash and short-sighted decisions when frustrated. This is something he is aware of and as a result he has learned to better control his temper over the years. Despite this, Yazui is still prone to blowing his top if frustrations continue to pile up or when certain buttons are pushed. When this happens, he will take his anger out at the source of his frustration or at his environment in the form of verbal or sometimes even physical abuse. When someone sufficiently angers him, he will develop a strong grudge that can easily last for a lifetime. Despite this, he is a long-term thinker who is capable of patiently working towards his goals over a long period of time. His impatience applies more to his direct situations. He can work diligently over a long period of time to reach his goals, but has little patience for obstacles or for activities that, in his mind, contribute nothing to achieving said goals.Yazui has a passion for food and cooking. He's become very good at it and will offer to cook for people he likes as a friendship offering. His specialty is spicy lamb curry. He gets upset easily if his cooking fails or isn't up to his usual standards.
