Appearance: Blades is a tall, young looking man standing at six feet and weighing around one-hundred and seventy pounds, with deep, hazel eyes and short, dirty blonde hair with bangs. For his signature clothing, he wears a violet fedora hat with a black strap and star on it, a purple tunic with golden studs, and black neck lining and cuffs, black pants, and purple shoes. Alongside these, he has one black glove on his left hand, and white bandages wrapped all the way from his fingertips to his shoulder, and a long, red scarf around his neck. Among all of his clothing, Blades sports a toned, lithe build, showing that while he trains, he's still rather light in comparison to most; and a large scar diagonally spread across his back, at about six inches long. His skin is also very pale.
Personality: Blades has changed in a lot of ways ever since becoming a crime stopping vigilante, but that doesn’t mean that his past hasn’t kept up with him. He still retains a softer demeanor when it comes to handling his problems, preferring that no one even knows he’s there when he appears to help others. Being the shadow that watches over the people, with elegance and a stern hand; that is his method, his determination, and his will. Beyond that, he’s actually quite goofy outside of his hero persona, tending to be quite socially awkward and not knowing what to say a lot of the time. He makes up for this with his kindness, for he sympathizes with just about anyone he meets, and reassures others in the way he wishes he had most of his life, to make sure they don’t feel too bad. There are, however, two parts of him that extend off of his subdued mannerisms; his apparent attraction to poetics, and his wits. For whatever reason, he has a knack for trading words and philosophy with people he just met, after he became a vigilante, whether it matters or not. Meanwhile, he can not only be crafty when the time arises, utilizing just about anything in the room or his brain to compete with his obstacles, or will nonchalantly reference popular media as though it’s ‘real’ to confuse anyone around him. Finally, his will to live combines with throwing himself in the line of fire for anyone in need, because while he dives into a situation expecting to die, he never expects to go down quick, and will protect the innocent until his dying breath, hoping they can go on from where he could not.

As for the less flattering parts of his personality, gaining his ire turns him into a much more spiteful, passive aggressive person. Although he believes in second chances, those that screw up beyond his imagination are met with someone who’ll stop at nothing to put you in your place, to the point of being excessively cruel. He also is quite dense, and will sometimes not understand very simple ideas. Finally, he’s not a fan of giving away his most precious secrets without significant reasons otherwise, nor is he a fan of people hiding their secrets, hypocritically. There’s a lot of power in the unknown, after all; and his whole thing is supposed to be that no one knows absolutely everything about him. He’ll stop at nothing to maintain his darkest secrets, especially when it comes to his identity as the 'Ebon Rose'. Arguably the worst aspect of his personality is what he calls 'the Beast'; some sort of weird force of will that speaks to him, encouraging him to take risky actions in intense situations, and attempting to bring out his darker side. While not exactly evil, it's a part of him he has to work around on a consistent basis.
