Sunagakure Chunin Exam: Naki vs Hinoishi

• Go all out, and do not hold back. This is the simulation arena, so your character does not risk death. But you do risk failure.
  
• A fight ends when one fighter is incapacitated, knocked unconscious, surrenders, is forced out of the ring, or dies in the simulation.
  
• Fights will spawn in at the center of the ring, and are expected to perform the seal of confrontation out of respect to another. Following this, they must each retreat 25 meters opposite of each other and towards the inside boundaries of the trench. This places each fighter 50 meters apart, and once both are this far apart an audible *ding* will ring throughout the arena indicative of the start of the match.
  
• To keep power scaling normalized, each fighter will be bound to the limitations of a D ranked character as described in the Dual Rank System
  
• At the beginning of the first post from each fighter, they must post a stat page in a spoiler and decide on their jutsu as limited in the rule above. Once posted, they are unable to use any jutsu that they didn't register in their first post. The fighters may use any and all equipment that they have on their stat page. This includes consumables, but considering the nature of the Simulation Battle Arena, the items are not consumed in real life.
  
• To maintain the flow of combat, each combatant is expected to post within 72 hours of the previous post. After this time window, combatants may request additional time yet depending on the situation, requests may be denied. If denied, or failure to request additional time after the 72 hour period is up, the opposing combatant may "hour" their opponent and assume that the combatant failed to perform an action.
  
• If clarifications are required, please reach out to your fellow genin first about their post. Let's try to avoid calling in BM's and the sort on something like this.
  
• Separate observation threads may be made, where spectators are a part of the crowd surrounding the arena. They may have no interaction with the combatants.
  

After the announcements of the second round of the Chuunin Exam had been posted, all would be expected to report to the Simulation Battle Arena at said time. The fourth battle taking place, would be between Naki Choko and Hinoishi Uchiha. Once both contestants entered, Sebastian would provide the instructions. "Alright, please sit promptly in any of the four chairs in the room. Once you do so, equip the headset assigned to that chair and we will promptly begin. Please go all out and refrain from holding back. Your future as a Sunagakure Shinobi could be decided from this battle". From there, he would wait until both Genin were sitting in their respective chairs. Once they were, he'd walk over to the computer and press a few buttons and turn a few knobs. Lastly, he'd click "start" with the mouse and each fighter would be transported into the Virtual Arena. The monitor would display a number of camera angles, allowing the Berserker to spectate the fight completely. He would document his notes and grading throughout the fight thoroughly.

From that moment on, it would be up to the two Genin to show what they were made of. "Good luck". And with that, the battle could commence.

The days seem to be taking forever to Naki as he still had a lot on his mind but then it happened, he was summoned for the next round. It's time, it's showtime! Naki was pumped up about this he was waiting for an opportunity to show that he is a force to be reckoned with. From the time he was brought in he was already and instinctively already had his chakra sensory going in it's basic force. When they were finally called back Naki demeanor has changed completely as he went from this smiling joking kid to a serious person with a score to settle. He would be dressed fully in his demon armory as he wanted the person who he was gonna battle to know what it was he was going to get into. Naki had his demon shroud on, along with his mask that covered his mouth and exposing his eyes a bit, he also had these gauntlets on his hands that had claws on them, and finally he had his twin demon lance in it's duel form as it rested in their sheathes. Naki learned awhile ago that first impressions are everything though despite this he still wore a cloak over his shoulders just exposing the front of his gear and nothing else. While yes it's important to show off you can't expose your entire arsenal to someone. 

Once they were shown inside Naki was a bit taken back but he couldn't let that be known on his face he had to remain still about this as very big. He'd look around at where they were going he would sit down when instructed to do and proceeded to climb into a chair after adjusting himself a bit. He would move the cloak a bit as he wasn't expecting to sit down but he made it so that he was comfortable. When they got started he would close then opened his eyes as he looked around the area seeing that they had entered the virtual stadium. He would begin to walk towards the center of the arena where he stood there waiting for Hinoishi he would remove his gauntlet and stuck his hand out making half of the sign for ram. Once they both completed their signs he would start to walk back taking a good amount of time to do so looking around the arena gathering information. There was an area for water and there was enough for him to use. Once he got far enough away he would wait for him to start this off.

Hinoishi walked in at the promoted time he was given. Excited to be there Hinoishi wore his normal jacket and his white undershirt. he wore his mothers necklace. Hinoishi wore shinobi cargo pants and normal sand shinobi boots, Hino now wore two large cloths around his waist for belts, both red but two different shades one bright and one dark. they intersected on his left hip and the remainder of both the cloths hung on his right hip. Hinoishi wore his ninja supply belt on his back hanging from the small of his back to his butt. his Kunai and shrunken holsters were also wrapped on his right quad. Hinoishi felt nervous but ready. He followed instructions and sat down, turned over to Naki and said with a smile on his face,"I'll see you on the other side" . Hinoishi proceeded to look in front of him and get comfortable in the chair, He was no stranger to the simulation since he had practiced in it before, but the battle arena was a completely different monster. Hinoishi relaxed in his seat and closed his eyes.

When he opened them back up when Hino was in the simulation. He walked to the front of the circle and weaved the confrontation hand sign. He looked up at Naki and said, "Good luck, I look forward to our fight". Hinoishi turned and looked around the arena, he walked slowly making sure to take in the sights for the battle. Noticing the massive amount of water Hinoishi new that if Naki had water release he would automatically be at an advantage. Hinoishi thought about maki's armor and realized that if he had armor such as that he would most likely be proficient with weapons. A close quarters fight was not going to bode well for him. Hinoishi had to be smart about his actions . Finally arriving at the fifty meter mark Hinoishi turned around quickly awaiting some form of starting signal. Hinoishi hears a loud audible ding,"Exactly what I'm looking for!". Hinoishi raced forward and began to whistle and weave hand signs in both hands. Hinoishi makes it 10 meters in front of himself running at Naki. Hinoishi makes sure to stay on his toes in case of random attacks. Hinoishi finishes whistling with a high note and takes a deep breath in while topping his sprint and moving into a slower cautious jag.  Hinoishi in tandem finishes weaving his left hand signs and puts his hand to his chin in the confrontation sign. Hinoishi spits out 10 earthen rocks spreading around 3 aimed directly at Naki while 3 others are above nakie by 1, 2, and 3 meters. The others are covering Naki’s sideways escape routes by 1 and 3 meters on both sides. Hinoishi takes in another breath directly after spitting out the last rock. In Hinoishi’s mouth an orb of wind begins to spiral and move around like a rasengan. Hinoishi opens his mouth all the way, releasing the orb. The orb grows and grows to 40 meters in length turning into a tornado at first but then creating a large atmosphere of destruction. The pressure wave catches up with the rocks pushing them farther along. Even though for almost 1 meter of movement the rocks appear to be moving faster they quickly break into hard rock shrapnel from the sheer destruction of the pressure wave. Each rock gets turners into make shift shrapnel bombs moving towards Naki with speed. Hinoishi completes the hand signs in his right hand and slaps the ground while the pressure wave is still active. Around Hinoishi erects an earthen dome of hard rock. Hinoishi breathes hard and thinks to himself about his combo attack. He can’t see Naki. Hinoishi activates his sharingan under the cover of the shelter so he can see Naki’s chakra signature while inside the dome. Even though Hinoishi’s chakra is flowing through the dome he can still see naki because Naki’s chakra appears differently than Hinoishi’s own chakra that flows through the dome. Hinoishi watches attentively for his opponents next move.

Once Naki was in place he would slowly breathe as his heartbeat began to slow down he'd grabbed both swords that were attached to their sheathes, that were apart of his legs of the shroud, and waited. When the ding started and he heard the whistling he immediately made sure that he wasn't in a genjutsu but his sensory didn't go off so with that he would proceed forward with him tossing both swords off to the side as he inhaled sharply as took in the maximum amount of air he could before taking his left hand and placing it on another sheathe revealing that he has another sword. He would watch as the other boy close the distance between them which in turn made this easier for naki. He would throw up a single hand as he focused his chakra as the stones came at him as the young boy would squat himself in what seemed to be a runners position. The single hand would flip to a ram sign as Naki disappeared just as Hinoishi was starting his second jutsu. Moving as fast as he was thanks to him using body flicker he would pin point himself directly behind the unsuspecting genin. It was now make or break time for Naki. 

He was still in that runners position would snap his hips around as he placed his hand started to move quickly once again going from tiger -> boar -> dragon-> bird as his chakra started to cover his sword within the sheathe as he placed his hand back on his hilt. He would start to exhale the air he took in as his muscles tensed up from him rotating around as he pulled on the hilt. Behind the genin all he could feel was murderous intent as Naki didn't try to hide it. As Hinoishi was starting to finish his second jutsu naki had already completed a few within seconds. He would draw his blade as it seemed to shine extra hard as he swung it towards his neckline. At the ferocity he was swinging and the strength he had behind it it was clear he was aiming for a quick ending as his eyes were locked on. With his ability dodging this would close to impossible for Hinoishi as he would rotate his body and quickly sheathes his sword afterwards as his head would roll.

Upon my suggestion both parties have agreed to make a couple of edits to their last post.

Hinoishi: 
- you describe using Whistle Trigger, yet you didn't pay the extra AP cost, please amend 
- you paid 10 AP for the Stone Pistol jutsu, that is the cost for its D-Rank version, yet you mention shooting 10 projectiles which is the C-Rank version, please amend

Naki:
- your calculations for Iaigiri were slightly off, please amend

To clarify, those were the only changes everyone agreed to. I've taken screenshots of both posts to avoid any "illegal" edits.

For future reference, please mention your jutsu scaling, link your techniques/skills and make sure to double check whether or not your techniques and whatnot are outdated.

Once the edits have been made the battle will continue with Hinoishi's post reacting to Naki's.

With his opponent unable to move from his attack Naki would make due on his swing. Hinoishi head did in fact roll after he swiped and the young swordsman resheathe his weapon. He would snap back to that bubbly personality of his as he rubbed the back of his head, it was if the fact that he just decapitated someone rang no bells in his head nor did it seem to hold weight behind him. Then again it could be because they were in a simulation though Naki didn't expect it to be this easy. Did he grow so much that he didn't realize it or was he always this strong. When the simulation ended and he was given the okay to remove the helmet he would and sat up. "Note to self when going into a simulation don't wear all your gear at once." he said as he looked at the instructor looking for something, for a you pass, you fail, a not bad, anything that would let him know. 

He would scratch his head as he wondered if what he did was fair but then again in a life or death situation he didn't have the luxury to let his feelings be seen especially for his opponent. When he was given the okay he would stand up and began stretching causing his body to audibly pop out as he was a bit stiff from sitting in the chair in his armor.

Well that was a disappointment if he ever saw one. Where he expected to witness an interesting battle between two Sunagakure shinobi, Sebastian was treated with a display of errors and mistakes instead, yet for some reason both of them failed to capitalize accordingly. The fight started somewhat promising, Hinoishi opening with a salvo of Stone Pistol, a relatively easy to avoid move. Even though Naki could have simply stood still and watch the earthen projectiles fizzle out harmlessly, the boy decided to Body Flicker straight at his opponent, with the risk of running into the opposing technique. However, rather than taking advantage of the situation, the Uchiha seemed to become paralyzed by fear, allowing his opponent to decapitate him. 

With the simulation coming to an end earlier than expected, the battle finished rather anticlimactic. Visibly irritated the Berserker noticed Naki to be the first returning back to reality. "Get up, you can have this win but even then I'm being generous. Now leave, I have something else to take care of". Allowing the young swordsman to move on to the next portion of the exams, the Tau then walked towards the chair Hinoishi was sitting in. As soon as the Uchiha took off the helmet, Sebastian forcibly removed the boy's headband, not hiding the anger and disappointment in the slightest. "What you just displayed is a disgrace to our village. You don't deserve to call yourself a Sunagakure shinobi. I'll give you one more chance to redeem yourself in the last part of the exams, don't expect to get this back if you mess things up again". The Black Guard Commander finished his scolding, prepared to make Hinoishi face the facts should he show any signs of retaliation or poor attitude.

Hinoishi watched as his plan fell apart with Naki's simple body flicker move. He was caught off guard. as Naki sped his way to Hinoishi with blades in tow. Hino froze, he had never been in an intense fight. He didn't know why but his muscles seized up and he couldn't move. Hinoishi watched helplessly as Naki approached him and decapitated him. Hinoishi felt disgraced. When Hinoishi awoke he had his eyes closed. Hearing footsteps nearing him he paid them little mind. Hinoishi immediately went to take off his sunagakure headband out of shame for disgracing it and falsyly calling himself a sunagakure shinobi. Hinoishi's hand grasped the metal as he went to untie the knot it was ripped from his head. The arena operator had scolded Hinoishi. Hino sat their and excepted his punishment with just one response, "Yes sir". Hinoishi walked away and left without his Sunagakure headband and without any dignity left as a shinobi. His face portrays the look of a scolded soldier.

The young genin would be confused as to why he was told that he was being generous with his score as he started to walk out. He thought he at least got some kind of word of encouragement or something that told him that he did a decent job not something that felt like it was just to bring him back down. The look on his face told him that he needs to get going and now, he would bow respectfully as he started to clear the room though he didn't get far as he heard the verbal smackdown the other genin was receiving. He would think that he wasn't upset with him but with the other one though he shouldn't think that as he can hear it. He would relax his breath and decided to get out of there and prepare for the next part. 

To prepare himself for this he would head to the training grounds in hopes of learning a new combination of moves or just something simple. All he knows is that he needs to get better and faster he needs to be faster to be able to handle anyone who decides to come for him.
