Story so far. . .

Genin

The life of young Sumiko are moments that are saturated with a haziness with the occasional flashback of a simple life with warm days and laughter. Trips with her family and the heroic stories of their travels as shinobi would be moments that the young toddler would more than likely keep to her heart as they fueled the flames of a future generation. Treated like a princess but exposed to filtered hardships, Sumiko was slowly introduced into the world of shinobihood which quickly made her want to be as courageous and strong as her parents, Hirayama and Yhao Yun Yoshido were. Sunagakure boomed and blossomed despite the odds time after time which allowed kunoichi such as Sumiko to grow and prosper. Through her years at the Academy, Sumiko took her studies and learned about the history of their village but, most importantly the Hidden Sand's origin and the families that contributed. It didn't take long for the girl to eventually pick up on the lack of familiarities if this story which was to be expected of a historically close-knit village.

Awakening her curiosity, Sumiko began to inquire about their family's legacy in the original days of the Hidden Sand but it came as an immense disappointment to the girl to hear that they were in fact migrants from a distant land known as the Land of Rock. Shocked and disappointed by this information, Sumiko couldn't believe that a country that she felt so connected to was nothing more than a glorified place of refuge that strung back for generations. It took her a few years to trudge through the disappointment and at one point she questioned her worth of becoming Genin but when the time came two years later, Sumiko didn't skip a beat to go through with the graduation examination for she might not have had direct blood connected to the Hidden Sand but she would make this her home and protect it with her last breath.
