Re: A skirmish in a faraway land

Taichi was none too impressed the breaking of his genjutsu. He had been under it for quite some time, but what he was impressed about was this particular shimobi’s ability under pressure, so now it was time for Taichi to step it up just a bit, just enough to see what he could do under some real pressure. Taichi knew his rain sharks would have a bit of a delay to the mark, but he was counting on just that. He was astounded when he saw his opponent not move from the target location, but instead pulling out a Shuriken and throwing directly for Taichi, and not even aiming for a vital spot.
This took Taichi a bit by surprise, but altered his plan none. His next few moves were already planned and this individual wasn’t doing much to alter them, quite considerate in his mind. Taichi simply pointed at the opponent just as he would pull out and throw the projectile and deflect the shuriken with a kunai knife he would pull out of his own weapon’s pouch. The rain sharks would be well on there way towards the opponent. But Taichi would simply point at the opponent and speak plainly as he deflected the shuriken in a downward fashion, having the projectile’s flight path change and collide with the Earth below. The pointing would be to show he was not impressed with the showing’s of the boy.
Seeming how the boy showed no interest in moving from his position, even after throwing his kunai, he would have had no issue hearing Taichi as he spoke. “This is your idea of not holding back? You must be joking.” Taichi would speak, still pointing at the boy. Taichi wouldn’t set his hand down. He would instead stare the boy down, waiting for his rain sharks to take him should he not move, but continue to be scouring the battlefield with his enhanced eyesight, just in case there were any sudden movements to dodge his rain sharks.
Taichi was intrigued with this child, enough so that he considered using an enhancement that very few had seen on this Earth. But only time would tell if this child would be ready for that level of intensity.

He seemed baffled by Kita's attempted shuriken throw. Kita couldn't blame him. It was nothing more than a cheeky throw on his part to let him know that he had escaped the Genjutsu. Maybe a stupid idea, but what was done is done. The man reached into his own weapons pouch and withdrew a kunai from it which he used to deflect the shuriken to his side with a simple side strike. He was too far away for Kita to really make out any specific details about the man, especially through the mist that was still prevalent on the field, which meant that Kita had to get closer if he wanted to get any sort of estimation of the man's abilities.
The mist... Now that Kita was thinking about it, it was beginning to vanish from the field entirely. It took until the shuriken had travelled its distance across the field to his opponent, but it was gone. That was one obstacle out of the way... and it appeared that the water jutsu that his opponent had used was also beginning to settle, turning into little more than a standing puddle of water. The field was open once again, and Kita knew what to expect. At least on some level. Kita shifted the sheath to rest in the bends of his elbows as he began weaving hand signs once again at the moment that his shuriken collided with Taichi's kunai, this time attempting to plot out an actual strategy. He couldn't hold back forever, no matter how flashy he wanted to seem. Not if he wanted a chance of winning.
The shuriken having travelled 25 meters at 115 speed meant that the water shark jutsu was still on its upward ascension to 30 meters. After all, if the jutsu was travelling at 70 speed, that meant that for every meter that Kita's shuriken travelled, the jutsu would travel roughly .6 meters. With Kita's jutsu having travelled 25... it would've travelled roughly 15 meters. 20 Meters off from the ground. Plenty of time for Kita to initiate a jutsu or two.
Kita's jutsu initiated, conjuring two shadow clones beside himself. Identical in almost every way in Kita's mind, though easily discernible for those with sensory abilities. Of course, obscuring himself wasn't Kita's true goal. All three Kita's nodded in unison, and began to make a break for their enemy across the field at top speeds, with the original taking the center stage in a straight line sprint, while the other clones took a slightly curved path to the left and right, attempting to lock their opponent in a pincer formation. The two clones travelled at top speeds of 120, while the original kept to a brisk speed of 80. Not because he was attempting to hide his speed from his opponent, but simply because Kita needed to keep pace with the clones. In the time it took for the Kita's to travel forward about 13 meters, the water sharks reached their height. The behemoths of water began to form to hunt their prey, descending down on the Kita's with full intention to devour him. With them having been formed at the edges of the dry circle Kita had created, and them being located behind the boy at the time of creation (Never specified where it was formed in the circle, assuming it formed behind Kita as a sort of sneak attack), he would now be 27 meters from the jutsu's starting point. If his opponent didn't move positions, they would now be 12 meters away. Between each version of Kita, there was currently 5 meters of space between the clones and their creator. All of them had their weapon drawn, and readied themselves for whatever attack that Taichi may be plotting...

"Ahhh finally he has made a move towards me. I have been wondering when this was going to happen." Taichi had said to himself as he watched the opponent split himself into three identical copies. He wasn't sure which one was the real one, but being one that used clones plenty in the past, he assumed the one in the center of the three was in fact the real opponent. He could tell by the speed that the clones were traveling, that this opponent was far faster than he was originally letting on, but Taichi had his own ways of dealing with people that are speedy.
Taichi would begin forming hand seals (Speed enhanced with Sage Mode, turning speed to 190) with the hand that was originally holding a kunai, as well as forming hand seals with the other hand that was originally pointing at his opponent. He dropped the kunai as the three opponent's began to sprint towards him and immediately began to form seals. The opponents would be closing in on Taichi's position, being only 12 meters away, which Taichi would allow to happen as he would form the final hand seal for two techniques, both finishing right after each other. What his opponent didn't know, was that he had finally used a technique that he hadn't used in quite some time, he had activated Sage mode. He channeled his nature chakra, for he had gathered quite a bit during their spar so far (6 stacks total). His speed would become enhanced, as would his Vigor. This would aid the strength of the technique, as well as channeling nature chakra into the technique that he had performed as his opponent was only 12 meters and 17 meters away respectively.
Taichi would stop the opponent's advance at 12 and 17 meters for the final hand seal would be performed and a massive cloud would be sent spewing out from Taichi's position (speed of 115). The second technique that would go off at the same time as the ashy cloud was Nativity: A world of trees. This would create a perfect dome surrounding the two. The dome would be 20 meters away from Taichi's position, and another dome surrounding that one at 40 meters away. The dome would be created and surround the two entirely. The inner and outer dome would cut out any light, causing perfect darkness within the dome that now encapsulated the two of them. (Sage mode boosts Vigor and Speed by 90, Nativity forms at the speed of Vigor stat, which is now 170). The dome would seem to close up almost instantly due to the boosts granted to him by Sage mode. The height of the dome would 5 meters.
Should his opponent be caught within the inner dome, (he stated that he was only 5 meters away from his clones, so if his clones are 12, then he is 17) then he would be caught within the ash shortly thereafter, as it would fill the inner dome entirely. This would likely burn his skin, but Taichi would not allow the ash to hurt his opponent too badly. Should his opponent try any sudden moves that go away from Taichi's plan, then he would deal with his opponent as required in that time

Kita had to give his opponent credit, he was a wily one. Something about him changed that Kita couldn't quite place. He seemed... stronger? Faster? Kita couldn't pin it down. No matter... The boy was fully intent to win. Kita was currently placed 17 meters from his opponent, while his clones were 12 meters. They were each located in a triangular position, with each being 5 meters from one another. Perfect. Kita could tell that he was initiating something based on his hand seals, though its exact nature eluded him. A barrier of several finely woven trees began to form 20 meters around his opponent, with one slight catch. The space 5 meters surrounding Kita was completely devoid of wood. For now at least, considering that Nativity of a World of Trees cannot be created within 5 meters of another character. Though it seemed to be quickly moving to occupy that space at 170 Speed. Problematic, but not the end of the world for Kita. With the dome needing to move 5 meters to occupy Kita's space currently, Kita would simply form a single hand sign. Assuming that Taichi was using the maximum thickness for his dome, Kita would need to clear 5.5 meters in the time it took the jutsu to travel 5 (Maximum thickness is 5 meters). Impossible normally, but Kita's little jutsu was the one trick he needed to escape. Activating the Body Flicker technique, Kita would be propelled backwards at 240 Speed 6.5 meters, just outside of the barrier that was forming and enclosing in on his position (170 vs 240 Speed). The first dome closed around the area that Kita had just occupied, giving the boy a slight bit of relief, and cover from his opponent. Looking back at the other dome 40 meters away, it also appeared to be 5 meters in height. Nothing to be concerned about, it had quite a distance to travel considering that it could only move 4.6 meters in the time it took Kita to travel 6.5 (Roughly), and Kita could easily jump that distance when the time came. For now though, he was simply content to wait...
His clones however, had other plans. Both sheathed their blades and began weaving hand signs simultaneously. The left clone formed the hand signs for a Water Dragon Bullet, while the right formed those for a Great Water Vortex Technique, both continuing in a straight line forward at top speed (120), and both intent on growing their jutsu to their maximum possible range. The jutsu quickly combined together to form something far, far, more dangerous. Their jutsu would activate and they would stop moving by the time they travelled 3 meters, meaning that the opponents ash jutsu would travel roughly 2.9 meters from Taichi. Their jutsu would expand outwards and forwards from the clone's mouths at 90 speed, before spreading out and combining with one another as they expanded after 2.5 meters, meaning that the opponents jutsu would travel 3.2 meters in that time (90 vs 115 speed). It was at that point the jutsu morphed to form the mighty Spiraling Water Dragon, increasing their speed and destructive force to 130. It easily plowed through the paltry Ash Cloud and carved a path of safety for the clones (Fire Style jutsu of 115 Power vs a Water Style jutsu of 130 Power), expanding outwards as it began to swell to its maximum possible size, intent on ripping through Taichi should he not move. If he didn't manage to destroy or dodge it... Well Kita was more than happy to stop the technique if it became a threat.
While this was all going on of course, the first dome would have travelled 4.25 meters in the time it took the clones to run 3 meters, and 4.7 meters in the time it took the water jutsu to travel 2.5, meaning that it would have travelled roughly 9 meters in the time it took for this event to occur, placing it roughly 2 meters from the clones, and 11 from Taichi. What happens next would be up to Taichi...

Taichi was within the dome that had now closed. The two clones were trapped within the dome with Taichi, but the true target was outside, body flickering at the very last second to escape the trap. Lucky for Taichi, that wasn't the goal of the trap, the main goal was to confirm which copy was the true one. Taichi could see the clones have a surge of chakra, but unfortunately, he was unable to merge with the ground and get the clones out of his way, so he had to deal with the problem head on.
Taichi clapped his hands together, forming the snake seal at the same time as the opposing clones would be forming their hand seals. He manipulated the roots of the trees that he had just created to spring up from the ground and form a shield of wood directly in front of him, being 5 meters tall and 5 meters wide, plenty enough to block the dragon that was currently coming at him. The wooden wall would block the incoming water technique that was enough to make Taichi himself blush.
Taichi's skull would begin to pulse, a pain would brew within his mind. His eyes would pulsate, feeling as though they were bleeding from the overwhelming amount of chakra flowing through them. He suddenly felt a detachment of some of his chakra, and they manifested into 10 small orbs. The orbs were half a meter in diameter, looking as though they were composed of pure chakra.
Taichi didn't know what to do with the orbs, but his focus was on the clones that were within the trap with Taichi at the moment. The orbs seemed to take on a mind of his own as three of them rushed ahead, moving around the wall and speeding forward in a wall that filled the entire dome's height and width. The wall of what seemed to be pure chakra once more would hurl towards the clones at a speed of 170 with a destructive power of the same. The wall would skim along the edges of the wooden dome as they would seem to have an exact match in regards of power. Taichi did not know what to do as the wall rushed forward, so he simply saw with his chakra vision the destructive wall as it would collide with the clones within the dome. The clones would be about 12 meters away at the time of the wall coming towards them.
The other orbs would be just floating in the air directly behind Taichi, seeming to be awaiting orders. Taichi's head would continue to pound, feeling the overwhelming power that was coursing through it.

There was little prayer for the clones escape. As their combined jutsu slammed against the wooden wall of their opponent, they quickly dismissed it. It was quite obvious that there would be no effect against their opponent's barrier, so the continuous expense of chakra wouldn't be very fruitful. Both of them bit their lips and looked at one another, pondering their various options. This man and his jutsu were far stronger than Kita could've anticipated. The Kita's ran through their options, calculating their best chance of victory. Though they didn't get too far before black orbs of chakra flowed from around the barrier, barreling towards them. It was the last sight they saw before the jutsu closed in around them, and they were smashed to dust by a jutsu that they couldn't see.
The original got their memories near immediately after. A strong jutsu, but one that Kita had to learn to counter. The outer wall of the jutsu was closing in, and fast, leaving Kita with little time to think of a counterstrategy. With little choice, Kita began to jump upwards to his maximum height of 37.5 meters. It was far above the 5 meter ceiling of both walls, and a good distance away from his opponent. An aerial assault may be just what Kita needed to win this fight. As he rose higher and higher above the rapidly expanding outer wall and the now dissipating water sharks, Kita looked down at the battlefield below, anticipating, plotting out his reaction to his opponent's next move.

The clones had very little hope against this technique, the technique that even Taichi had no clue about, the only thing he knew was these orbs that he was able to see with his chakra vision were pure destructive power. He dropped the wall that was protecting him from the dragon after the dragon dissipated and was able to see the orbs in the form of the giant wall. He was blown away by the fact that the orbs had turned into a wall of pure destructive chakra. Now that the clones were dealt with, the orbs that were once a wall turned back into orbs and returned to Taichi's side, but their composition hadn't changed, they were still pure destructive chakra. The domes were just about to close up in the top when he decided to release the domes altogether.
The domes fell and he saw his opponent seeming to soar in the air, almost reaching 37 meters in the air! Taichi knew what he had just done with these destructive orbs, and he decided that he was going to do the same thing with the real opponent. He was beginning to see red at this point, the power was beginning to get to his head. He launched nine of his orbs directly for the flying opponent. Each of the orbs would mold themselves into a 15 by 15 square, creating another gigantic wall of pure destructive chakra. This would create a shield for Taichi should his opponent decide to throw any techniques Taichi's direction, and it would also act as a trap for his flying opponent. The floor would be 45 meters by 45 meters, being almost impossible to dodge, but this floor would not simply rush in and destroy his opponent, but instead, it would form a sphere around his opponent and it would follow his flight path and land him directly on the ground, safely.
Taichi was battling with his inner self, he wanted to kill, but he didn't want to kill this child for he had no reason to. The sphere, once it landed, would begin to reduce in size, being just large enough for the individual inside to stand still. He would use his last orb to go underground, being a 15 meter by 15 meter ground directly below the Earth below his opponent, just in case he decided to go underground to get out of the sphere. This trap would stay in place until Taichi was able to calm his mind and speak to his opponent. The tiny sphere and underground floor of pure destructive chakra would radiate a small sound, but it wouldn't be too loud that it would stop conversation between Taichi and his opponent. He slowly walked up to the trap, breathing heavily as the pain was beginning to get to him. He had never felt such a feeling in his mind, and he knew that this had to have been the power of his new eyes, the eyes that he had been given by the gods.
"Are you still alive in there? I pray that you are." Taichi would be standing five meters away from the trap, awaiting a response from his opponent.
Re: A skirmish in a faraway land

Kita stared down at the battlefield below with some small degree of amusement. His heart was pounding with such intensity that he could hear the blood rushing in his ears, commingling with the sound of the wind from the incredible height that he had reached. It was almost... peaceful? At least it would be if not for the intense wall of black energy that was approaching him at high speeds. It quickly massed together to form a mighty wall, one that would certainly swallow Kita alive if he didn't do anything. The boy scowled and bit his lip, running through his arsenal of options for something, anything that could surpass this behemoth of a jutsu, but he quickly came up short. There was no beating that thing, and he had lost any possible defensive option he could've gained by taking to the air.
"Damn it! I was doing so well too!"
It was a true tragedy, but one that couldn't be avoided. Not by this point. The boy continued to curse his luck as the mass wrapped itself around his body, restricting and restraining his movements to the point where he was simply standing in place, stuck in the black that surrounded him. Anger was his first reaction, though some tears began to well in his eyes as well. He honestly had thought that he might've been able to beat this on his own, despite the huge gap in age and experience between the two shinobi. He had worked so hard, gotten as far as he had on guts and determination alone, yet it simply wasn't enough. Even the constant mantra of the fact that it was just a spar wasn't enough to quell the feelings inside the boy.
"Damn it! That transplant that I got didn't give me ANYTHING! I did all that, fought through a genjutsu, and water sharks, and a wood forest, and I didn't even get a single attack to land! Not to mention that I get taken down by some stupid bubble!"
It was infuriating. The boy's chest rose and fell slightly as he was lowered gently to the ground, though the tears that were welling in his eyes didn't fall from his face. He paced himself, slowly calming himself and letting his anger fade away. It was just a spar, and Kita still had a long way to go. That was all. Nothing more, nothing less. When Taichi finally approached the barrier, Kita had calmed himself. It hurt the boy's pride, but he was ready to concede.
"I'm alright. I give up. I don't think that I can escape from this prison, so I guess that you win. Would you mind letting me out? It's a little bit cramped in here."
