Travins snake came out of his arm sleeve looking for something to bite as they snapped at the air around him. However, Nasu was slightly out of range for the snakes at this point. The snakes slacked in their limited range and recoiled slightly back into Travins sleeve. At this point Nasu was making hand signs and Travin was almost willing to let him figure out what he was planning on doing, but decided against it. After all he had to show his now student that people don’t just wait for you to finish your hand signs. Grabbing a kunai from his weapon pouch on his back at max speed Travin would fling it at Nasu’s right leg moving at 47 speed. While at the same time Travins snakes would uncoil themselves as Nasu’s jutsu went off and wrap themselves around Travins body protecting him from the attack. The two snakes would have plenty of length between them to cover Travins entire body making it impossible for any of the explosions to follow the fireballs to hit him. With the snakes having a health stat of 87 the small fire explosion would hardly even be felt by the snakes as they used their eyes to watch the boy and inform Travin about what he was doing.

"Damn Travins snakes can act as a shield too. My fireballs can't do anything to them." Nasu, not paying too much attention then sees a kunai coming right at his leg. Nasu pulls his own kunai out of his pouch and throws it to block the kunai. Nasu figures out its trajectory and in an instant throws it at the other kunai. Nasu's kunai was going at a speed of 71 which was much faster than Travin's. Nasu's kunai also had an impact force of 60. The two kunai hit each other just as Nasu had predicted and Nasu's kunai hit Travin's off course. Nasu then thought if Travins snakes are covering his body he can't see. So Nasu pulled another kunai out of his pouch and waited for the first slight movement of the snakes leaving. The second he saw the snakes starting to back down Nasu through the kunai right at Travin's left leg because that was where the snake's were backing down from. Nasu thinks he can hit with no trouble as Nasu can't see yet. After all, unless his snakes move fast enough away in time for Travin to react Nasu was bound to hit. Nasu's kunai was traveling at a speed of 71 with an impact force of 60.

The snakes around travin started to loosen up when they saw the boy deflect Travins kunai with one of his own. Reporting to Travin what had happened they also told him that he was readying to throw another kunai when they moved away more likely. Nasu would be able to hear them talking with their hissing voices but it would be difficult to make out exactly what they were telling Travin due to the distance and volume of their voice.
Very well Travin thought to himself telling the snakes to uncoil from around his legs first. It was probably what the boy had expected him to do and it was the smartest way to get out as well. With his legs free he would be able to move, but what the boy wouldn’t know is that Travin would also have the snakes lift their body slightly so while uncoiling themselves they would leave a slit for him to look out of and see the Nasu standing and waiting for his chance to throw his kunai. Travin would also activate his Seigan’s ability called upwelling to further increase his own speed and chakra thinking that he didn’t want to get stabbed today on the off chance he was a little too slow. With the now 20 meter distance between them and the snacks uncoiling at their max speed of 87 they would be clear of his legs long before Nasu’s kunai would be able to clear the distance. Allowing Travin to easily dodge the kunai with his new max speed of 135 if Nasu stuck to his plan of throwing it at all after seeing how fast things were moving.
If he did indeed still throw the kunai at the first sign of movement Travin’s dodge would come in the form of a sprint in a diagonal line from his position to the right of Nasu. At his max speed of 135 now, Travin would keep his eyes peeled on Nasu’s own eyes daring him to look at the shinning blue eyes glaring back at him.

"Damn I already threw my kunai and he dogged it like nothing even happened. He ran so fast as well. I only have 1 choice left before im sure to lose. As he ran to the right of me I can hit him well." For some reason Travin came right up next to him only about 2 meters away. But Nasu wasn't done yet. He still had one more trick up his sleeve. He only had one last jutsu he could use and was bound to lose if he missed so with no hesitation he watches Travin and right as travin stops his run, so he loses all momentum, Nasu formed the hand signs Snake-Ram-Tiger. "This is all I've got left, Travin. Great fireball jutsu." The fireball forms right out of Nasu's mouth. Travin might think that a fireball will come at him due to the name but this jutsu has a second ability. Instead of making a fireball Nasu created an outward cone shape which formed at a speed of 35 and had 35 power. The cone had a diameter of 5 meters. Nasu knew this wouldn't beat Travin but had no options left. After this move Nasu would definitely be beat.

Travin closed the distance after dodging the kunai that Nasu had thrown. His snakes still attached to his arm sleeve and moving with him. The moment that Travin saw Nasu start to make hand signs as the distance between them closed to two meters, and Travin knew that Nasu wouldn’t be able to get away from him this time. The snakes shot out of his sleeve once more still at the same speed of 87 at the same time that Nasu moved to make hand signs. The snakes would quickly aim to wrap around his wrists stopping him from making the hand signs that he wanted. If they were successful in their mission the snakes would then bite down into Nasu’s forearms injecting him with their paralytic venom. With their fangs have a sharpness of 87 they would easily pierce his skin and the poison having a power of 87 as well would easily paralyze the boy.
If his plan went off without a hitch than Travin would use his snakes to gently lay Nasu down and walk over the few meters to stand over him. “Not bad kid. You need some training but you did good over all. You will get the feeling back in your body in a few seconds. I didn’t give you a big dose. Come back tomorrow and we can go at it again, and remember to keep that sharingan active till you feel like you're going to pass out”. At that point Travin would walk out of the training room and head home for the day. He would return the next day to keep the training going with his new student. It would still feel weird saying.

Nasu never managed to get his fireball to go off. Travins snakes were just too fast. They bit into Nasu giving him their poison and paralyzed me for a bit. Travin then told Nasu that he did a good job. Nasu was happy but couldn't even show it with a smile because he can't move. Nasu was told to come back the next day. After the paralysis wore off Nasu went home and came back the next day. When he got there he saw Travin waiting in the same room as the day before. Nasu went in and asked Travin "would you please teach me summoning jutsu." Nasu wanted the same summon as Travin's and asked while down on his knees.

Re: Meeting people while training
Tue Feb 23, 2021 5:17 pm
Travin made his way back to the training grounds for the second day in a row now. It was something quite amusing to him about it. Normally he only showed up about once or twice a week to keep his skills sharp, but now he had taken on additional responsibility with a student. Someone that he was going to be in charge of, and making sure they knew how to fight so that they didn’t just die in their first outing. It was a new challenge to him, and while it put a damper on his own goals of climbing higher in the ranks. He was finding it a good learning experiment for himself as well as his new student Nasu. He was learning that by teaching others what you know that only then does it truly sink in and you really understand it.
The day was as nice as the last one which was a bit weird for kiri to have two good days in a row, and almost made him think that some dark times were coming. After all he had overheard some rumors about what had happened at the kage summit, but nothing glaring that spelled war was brewing. Mostly just more of the same with the leaf complaining that they lost a war and are still paying for it. Travin himself didn’t feel any guilt for it, for he was not part of that war nor did care. If they had been stronger they would have been able to fight off the invasion at the least.
All this and more was running through Travins mind as he walked into the building. He made his way back over to the same room that he and Nasu had used the day before and sat down on one of the benches inside of it. They were not the most comfortable as they were built for durability and not comfort, otherwise they would be replacing them every fifteen minutes. He didn’t have to wait long before his new student showed up. It was a sign of pride for Travin that the kid hadn’t given up after the first day, and showed Travin that maybe his teaching methods were a bit better than his own fathers.
Travin stood up as Nasu walked into the room and walked over to the center of the room. He watched as Nasu made a beeline directly in front of him and kneeled down on one knee. Not knowing what to do and feeling very uncomfortable Travin quickly grabbed him by his shoulder and pulled him up in front of him. “What the hell are you doing man, you want these guys to give me hell for the next few weeks about you proposing to me or something.” Travin would tell Nasu with a smile showing him that he was only playing. “If you need to show respect or something like that just bow your head, there is no need in this kneeling stuff. It's not like the mizukage or something man.”
Naus would then ask Travin to teach him his summons. It came off almost as expected; it was one of the things that Travin was planning on offering to teach Nasu as well as some of his snake jutsu as well to help him get the basics of it down. He was thinking that maybe even together that they would be able to come up with some truly ingenious ways to use the summons to their most devastating way. Plus after all the snakes were mostly what Travin was known for anyway, and this would be a good way for Nasu to show people who trained him without having to tell anyone. To Travins knowledge there were not very many people that had signed the same contract as he had, and even fewer still that had mastered it to the same extent that he had already as well.
“Very well Nasu I’ll summon the snakes and you can sign your name on the contract. Do know that this is a permanent decision and if you go back on your word the snakes will not like it and they may ask me to kill you, or worse yet send someone else to do it that would not take mercy on you, so before I do think about it for a few seconds and give me your answer” Travins face would show the seriousness of this decision as he spoke.
Assuming that Nasu agreed to the terms Travin would make a few hand signs and summon the contract holding snake summon to their location. “Hello old friend my student would like to sign the contract” Travin would tell the summons. It was an older snake about 4 meters in length with black scales and orange dots running along its body.
“Does he know the stipulations of signing the contract” the snake spoke with broken grammar over pronouncing the S’s. Travin would give him a nod of agreement and look to Nasu to step up as the snake uncoiled itself from around the contract letting the end of it unroll out revealing an empty line with a point at the corner. “Sign in blood” the snake would say to Nasu as he walked up pointing with its head to the point at the corner for him to prick his finger on. Travin would wait and watch the whole time not saying another word till the entire ordeal was done and over.

Nasu got off his knees and Travin told him that he could have the summon. Nasu bowed as a joke and said “Thank you very much master.” That was the first time Nasu had ever really referred to anyone as master. Nobody had really taught him before. One thing Nasu didn't know is that this is going to be permanent. When Travin told him that he could see how serious he was now. Nasu took everything into consideration and decided “This is what I want.” Travin was fine and happy with that decision, after all this would allow them to do much more together. And Travin could teach Nasu some jutsu. Travin and Nasu spoke for a bit about the summon and then Travin said “Very well Nasu I’ll summon the snakes and you can sign your name on the contract.”
Travin then stood back a bit and made some hand signs. “Summoning jutsu.” Travin summoned a big scroll and a snake. He spoke to the snake like they had known each other forever. You could tell that this was an older snake and it was pretty big as well. It was black with orange dots all over its body. Nasu wasn't expecting this to be something so easy. While Travin and the snake were talking there were all these thoughts going through Nasu’s mind. Nasu was so happy about learning this jutsu. Most ninja have them and Nasu didn't have the best defense so the snakes were very important. Nasu’s mind kept thinking about things but then he heard the old snake talk to him. The sake told me to sign the scroll in blood. The old snake then opened the scroll with his tail. Nasu could see each distinct section where each person would write their name. Nasu could also see Travins name in one section and a couple others but not many. So Nasu bit his thumb and started to write out his name. N A S U. the snake then told me to do the same with my finger prints. Nasu just looked how Travin did it and started to copy. Nasu used the blood from his thumb to get some on all his fingers. He then put a print of his finger directly under his name. While Nasu was going to do this last bit his heart was racing. He was expecting something to happen. Maybe some kind of explosions. Or just something. But when he put his hand down nothing happened at all.
The snake just said very well and then de summoned. “I thought something epic was going to happen. I got excited and then he just left right after. Not even a little speech about them. Not even a thank you. Just very well.” Travin then looked at Nasu like he wasn't taking this seriously. Nasu wasn't taking it that seriously but Travin didn't have to look at him with such a harsh look. Nasu then realized that this was probably Travin’s first time having a student. It's not everyday some random guy you've never met asks you to spar with him and then become his master. And by the sounds of it Travin was trained in a very different way. He probably had some kind of extreme training. And from the way he has talked about his dad Nasu has a feeling it might all come from there. But enough of that now Nasu has a summon. Nasu was thrilled but thought he'd feel a little different. Or sense some kind of connection with the snakes now. But everything felt the exact same. Nasu just kinda stood there for a minute not knowing what to do so he decided to drink some water. What's better to do after you sign a random scroll you've never seen before in blood. Nasu knew this wasn't it though. So Nasu then spoke. “Now comes the hard part right. Signing the scroll is simple but then learning the signs and everything about summoning and the snakes is going to be a lot harder. And I'm going to guess that you're going to have me train just as hard. But thank you for letting me sign that contract. I hope I get to learn much more from you.”

Travin watched as Nasu signed the scroll and the snake took back off to the hidden cave. He listened to Nasu ask him about how now he was going to have to learn the difficult part, and Travin thought about how to explain it best before he spoke up. “The hand signs and stuff don’t change it’s all still the same and functions normally. The only thing that determines who you can summon is how much chakra you have. If you have very little chakra then you won’t be able to summon powerful snakes, but if you have a lot of chakra or just very strong chakra such as in my case you will be fine summoning the strongest of them.” Travin told Nasu taking a moment and running his hand through his hair before continuing. “The hard part comes with using your snake summons within jutsu. Such the blinding snake glare jutsu I used yesterday on you. In these, you must create a small portal just big enough for them to squeeze out of and maintain it for the duration, or risk killing the summons and they don’t like that” Travin added.
He walked over and stood across from Nasu so he would be able to see what Travin was doing with ease. “Watch me and then you try. Pay close attention using your sharingan and it may help you figure out some stuff” Travin said before his hands went into motion. Making hand signs slowly so Nasu would easily be able to see he made the Rat, Tiger, Dragon hand signs. Then five snakes flew out of Travins sleeve “you see how I did that. Don’t worry it even works if you don’t have sleeves or if they are skin-tight. That’s part of the jutsu it allows them to pass through your skin-tight sleeves or appear out of your elbow in the case of not having any, and with a simple mental command you tell them what to do.” Travin then let the snakes flow back into his sleeve and vanish back from where they came before motioning for Nasu to give it a try.

Nasu watched as Travin did his jutsu. Nasu followed along every step with his sharingan. He watched until the snakes went back into his sleeves trying to get every single detail he could. Nasu then went to try doing it himself. Nasu formed his hand signs Rat,Tiger,Dagon, hidden shadow snake hands jutsu. 1 snake then came out of Nasu’s arm. Travin looked at him and said “again.” Nasu then went again. Rat,Tiger,Dragon, hidden shadow snake hands jutsu. This time he got three to come out. And just as before Travin says “again”. For the third time Nasu made the hand signs. Rat,Tiger,Dragon, hidden shadow snake hands jutsu. This time felt different. Nasu could feel some sort of connection to the portals he was creating. Like he had some strong suit with space/time techniques. Nasu then had 5 snake’s come right out of his sleeves. Nasu then recalled them back in. “Master when I was doing the jutsu something felt a bit different. It felt like I was connecting to space and time when I made those portals. Is that from the jutsu?” Nasu then listened to Travin tell him a bit about how he was connected in some way. That Nasu was strong with space time techniques and that it would give him some bonuses. He could also connect his mangekyou sharingan to it as well as get bonuses on things like summoning jutsu. After Travins little talk Nasu kept on practicing over and over again. He wanted to get this jutsu down. Bringing snakes out of his arms with this small amount of hand signs could be great for battle. After practicing enough Nasu felt like he could do this in his sleep. Nasu also had the realization of how many more jutsu he could obtain now. At first he could only get fire style but now he can use any snake jutsu as well as summon’s.
