Finally Home for Good (open)

“Taiji Heiji” The Jonin said with a faint smile. “The name was Taiji Heiji, and even though the tenure of your kinsman was short-lived, the heroic actions he did that day, will never be forgotten by the people of this village. There is a statue of him, outside the Unseen University, up the hill. Along with six more statues of the other Hogokage..” Dusk paused for a moment. “Pardons five more.”  The statue of the traitor Valen Akari had been removed and later smashed to bits. The stone used to build a pig farm outside the gates.

“Why waste good rock?” Shina had said, with that hideous grin of hers during a meeting of the Hoshi higher-ups. “Let the remains of the statue soak in pig-shit forever.  A fitting legacy to be sure.” Nobody at the table had challenged her on that one. And for a moment underneath Ayato Hyuuga’s brooding face, Dusk had sensed the hints of enjoyment.

“My plan?" Dusk responded to Genin's question "Well for today it was to enjoy my coffee. And since my cup is now empty, I suppose that is over and done with. It was a pleasure meeting you, thanks for keeping me company. If you want to serve your new village more actively in the future perhaps we could do a mission together."

Dusk placed ryo on the table, paying for his beverage, Youta's sandwich, and a good tip for the waiter. There was no frown or displeasure for that, thankfully his other activities allowed him such generosities.
