Hunting A Thief [Hunter][Kizmaru]

Mai had calculated right so far. The Poison mist was sucked up into a seal that was located on the neck of the man. But this is where things gets interesting, the man leaned back, and then launched a kick, at this point Mia had finished her four handseals, and his kick came up short due to the average length of the leg being just shy of a meter, and he leaned back creating more space between them. It was enough as the leg reached its peak height she reached forward like before, but instead of aiming for his shoulders, she would grab his leg, once done the seal would take hold.

She would Immediately pull out two kunai, One with a Smoke bomb and the other with a explosive tag. She would throw the one with the smoke bomb towards the one behind her as the sounds of the chains gave that one away, the other would get aimed at the now paralyzed mans neather regions. Being thrown, the kunai stab would dig into the part of the body where the two legs would come together, with a following explosion which would end the mans life. Meanwhile the kunai would be aimed for the head of the other, the resulting smoke bomb explosion would take out his eyesight, allowing Mai to then use the Mist Servent technique. Then pulling out the remaining five shuriken in one hand, the other hand would pull out a Kunai. Mai would have ten versions of her. Ranging in distances from being only a meter away to being at the body of the dead ninja.

The previous explosion being only a meter wide had not touched Mai as she was just out of range of it. the kunai gone in the explosion, she stood fine with nary a scratch. Mai would have five clones look like they throw shuriken, when she would indeed throw her five shuriken at once, however the position of them in her hand was staggered so they left a couple seconds apart from each other. The other four would all charge forward with her, Kunai in hand. Her hand that had thrown Shuriken now reached for the last two in her pouch. as the clone repeated her action. And suddenly what seemed like a flurry of twenty Kunai swarmed in. The two main ones aimed for the eyes of the man. the One kunai she did not throw being the one she still kept clenched would be thrusted towards the mouth of the man as she reached him.

Keita was watching the person intently, and it seemed that the thief was quite skilled at dodging and evading, and seemed to narrowly avoid an attack that his partner did, while also forming a couple of hand signs in preparation for something. Sadly, Keita was waiting for this moment exactly, and activated his absorption seal he put on himself a moment ago, before slowly bringing the chains closer to the pair. The seal activated, sucking the chakra formed from whatever jutsu the thief had, Keita could not see it, and at the same time, the chains closed in. Since the chains were already forming a tunnel from him towards the opposite wall, the tunnel simply got smaller and smaller. He knew that Kizmaru was an apt close range fighter, so he did not mind closing the chains near him as well, although the part of the chains near him were still wide, about 3 feet away from him at this point, but only around one and a half feet away from the thief. One of the chains at the far end curved backwards, snaking the end of it around, then attempted to wrap itself around the foot of the thief. The chains that were now very close to the woman would prevent her from moving about, and slowly constrict her as well. It was a bit strange, Keita thought, that the woman seemed really confident in herself, seeing as how she made no attempt to get out of the chain tunnel that he had made moments earlier, and so he was on the lookout for any other tricks she would play. As he had this thought, the woman immediately, as if on cue, threw a smoke bomb towards Keita, although he did not immediately recognize it as a smoke bomb, so out of instinct, put his hand towards the source and activated the Rainbow Fort Seal. Once he saw that it was a smoke bomb, he no longer worried about it, as Kizmaru should have dealt with whatever the thief would have tried at this point. Now that Keita's vision was obstructed, he stopped the chain attempting to grab at the woman's feet, as he couldn't see her anymore, and that would simply be wasted brain power.

If the woman actually ran at him, he would wait for her to get close enough, and then simply pull his chains back towards himself, forming a multi layered dome around him and the thief, confident that the thief would not be able to do anything, and then suddenly constrict both of them together, as he had barriers and his innate toughness behind him, and thought that with how fast the thief was, there was no way that they were tough as well.

As Kizmaru's leg soared just shy of the woman's face, close to reaching the height of its momentum, an aura had began to emerge from his body instantly, encasing his entire soul around his being, simultaneously casting the hand signs of Horse, Rat, Ram, Tiger with his left hand at his now enhanced speed. Kizmaru decided he had enough of this and really wanted to get back to his place for some private time with his wife. With the added resilience of Kizmaru's maneuver and his aura's effect, by the time the woman had made contact with Kizmaru's leg, he had completely withstood the paralysis seal's effect. As the woman was drawing her weapons from her person, Kizmaru had began to expel fire chakra from his entire being incinerating while knocking back all indiscriminate people and objects within a twenty meter diameter. He didn't think he'd have to exert such force but he deemed it necessary for the time being. As much as he'd like to be a better close ranged fighter, this was not the time for him to be taking risks like that. He glanced at Keita and shrugged as if he wanted to say, "so much for taking her back alive, I guess."  

Looking at the destruction, he knew his townsfolk would not be happy about the mess that was made here. He almost destroyed what was meant to be protected. sheepishly scratching the back of his neck, Kizmaru had half-whisper, half yelled. "Yo Keita, let's get out of here! I messed up. I don't wanna be scolded!" With that, Kizmaru had put the leg that was previously being held by the woman down and decided he would keep his enhancement on to hightail out of there as fast as he could be for the real authorities would show up to investigate what happened here.

Okay so I think this is where the battle mod gets brought in.

So my handseals are already formed since you did not interupt or slow them down, so when the foot comes up, shes catching it, that contact is what makes you paralyzed stopping your handsigns. To far away for your buddies jutsu (More then 20 meters apart), so that isnt saving you. Soul Expulsion wont stop any of the physical damage that happens, and Blast wave was canceled out, cause albeit it may be "Simultanious" I doubt with the Mere CM's that your foot is away from my face that the speed boost will help at all to complete your jutsu before I touch you in such close range.

In Which case, You are dead, as is Keita due to lack of acting upon the thrown weapons.

Keita watched as a Kizmaru was completely covered in a strange layer of chakra, as his aura surged, and he seemed quite a bit more formidable, but Keita barely saw that before suddenly a bright red light suddenly exploded outwards, smashing into the nearby buildings, and suddenly Keita saw a fairly charred body fly towards him and skipped on the surface of the stone ground a couple of times before sliding to a stop about five meters from him to his left. The lifeless corpse seemed to have been burned and battered beyond recognition, but at least the things in the pouch of the body seemed to be pretty okay, as Keita used his chains to pick the body up and rummage through the pockets, eventually finding the stolen goods, which would be enough evidence to turn in this particular person, so there would be no question that this was the person that did it, but it was going to be fairly annoying hauling this dead body back to the military compound for identification and turning in the mission, but they might as well start now. Keita then walked over to Kizmaru, and started weaving hand seals. "So Kizmaru, I noticed that you had to use one of the seals I placed on you, so here is another one. I'm going to make sure that you are ready for another fight like this one." Keita said, as he activated the Absorption Seal again, this time placing it on Kizmaru. Keita then made sure to place a couple of seals on himself as well, before he patted Kizmaru on the shoulder. "Well, it was a little sloppy, but that is fine I suppose. Let us go and turn this mission in, so that we can get paid and go home." Keita then started to walk towards the charred body, and grabbed the now burnt shirt of it, before starting to drag it away. Keita wondered if there were any workers in the village that they could contact that would do this for them, As Keita sighed.

Waiting for Keita to finish his investigation, Kizmaru began to somewhat jog in place in as his partner checked the charred corpse in front of him. He really wanted to get going as soon as possible and head home since he was short on free time and wanted to cuddle his loving wife when he could. As Keita checked the body, he had recovered the stolen goods they were suppose to retrieve and Kizmaru was secretly glad he didn't destroy the evidence or it would be hard to explain to the higher-ups, when in his Jounin disguise. Of course, he didn't truly care what happened but he had to play pretend in order to fit the part of his Jounin disguise. Well, its not like he had to hide his identity either since he was close friends with Keita and he was technically his bodyguard so there was no need. After that, Keita had noticed Kizmaru used up a Fuinjutsu seal and began to replace it without saying a word. Kizmaru was pleased with the initiative Keita was taking in repairing the seal he had just used up in order to defend himself from the hostile shinobi's actions. With that Kizmaru watch as Keita grabbed the charred remains of their opponent and began to walk with him in order to get their payment for a job well done.
