Traitor

Mission Detail

“Kill the traitor " That was the mission order. The person he was searching for was a genin like him. Sakuragi had been appointed this mission. This is the first time he would be appointed to such task. It would be difficult to find such a criminal but because of his byakugan the search would be made easy for him. 




Sakuragi searched  nearly everywhere in the  village with his byakugan. He found no one who resembled the guy in the picture in his hand. The picture he was given to make him recognise his target. There was one place left for the hyuuga to search. The tachibana wildlife reserve. A home for all kind of creatures in hoshigakure. Sakuragi still had his byakugan activated. He would walk closer into the forest of the game reserve. There were all kind of tall trees there, few short trees and the ground was covered with green grasses.






Finally, the white eyed found someone that looked like the boy in the picture, the target was 40 meters away from Sakuragi. The hyuuga would begin to approach his target, he would do everything in his might to bring him down.

Huddled by a stream, the young boy cried into his arms as they clutched his knees, his hands grasping his shoulders as his fingers slowly left their mark on his pale and cold skin. He had killed them. The thought flashed through his brain and another uncontrollable fit of crying came out of him in between gasps. They had been playing hide and seek, and his team mates kept teasing him about how they just needed to go where it was cold to find him. He accused the hyuuga lass of cheating, which she declined in between snickers, saying that he was just bad at hiding. When he frowned in the verge of tears from the relentless teasing, they teased more and more, inching closer, getting louder and louder, ringing into his ears, until they were so close their hot breath could burn his delicate cool skin and the barking of their jests hurt his ear drums. It happened so fast. He blasted the area in ice and before he knew it two icicles found their final resting home under the jawbone of the kids, and the Yuki's cold skin started burning with their hot blood melting it away.

He didn't know how long he had been here crying, but he felt a presence. He was skilled in sensory, and when he turned his head to see what it could be, he noticed a village shinobi coming towards him. The stance and stride gave away the intention; there would be no negotiating.

Tonight, there'd be more blood.

Kaname rose to his feet as a wakizashi of ice, 30cm of blade with 15cm of handle and snowflake guards started taking form in his right hand from the humidity provided by the stream. "I didn't mean to do it!", he yelled at the approaching figure. But when he said that, something stirred within him, perhaps due to the weaponry on his hand, a magnifying lens of his hatred for his now dead team mates. "But they had it coming!" Resentment ressounded through the wooded area, clear enough to be a good arena for a showdown if it came down to it. "I'm leaving, and you CAN'T stop me!"

He readied himself for combat, flipping the wakizashi to be held in reverse grip, and stared into the white eyes of his former village ninja.

The hyuuga had the habit of not looking people in the eye during combat, this fight would not  be an exception. Sakuragi was now 15 meters away from his target, having tied his black silk across his face. This mission would be very dangerous, the task stated the offense that was committed but nothing was stated about the abilities of the boy. The white eyed had no clue  what this figure  is capable of . It was the main reason Sakuragi had his black silk  around his eyes to prevent direct eye sight  with the boy should  he try to cast a genjutsu that requires eye contact.






Even though the hyuuga's eyes were buried in the black silk, he could still see the traitor since his byakugan was active. 15 meters range away from his target who weilded a spear-like weapon,  there were all kinds of trees around, tall and short, but none in between the hyuuga and the yuki,  the quicksand  beneath them was clothed  with green grasses.  The long branches of trees above the two genins shaded them from direct sunlight. 




Sakuragi would swing swiftly into action, the boy would spit  6 fire balls immediately after performing three hand seals . The size of each fireball would be 1 meter in diameter and  an explosion damage of 5 meters diameter each upon impact with the yuki. He would direct all fireballs at the genin traitor, each  fireball 1 meter apart. This he did to cut off any escape route for the traitor. The hyuuga would carefully observe how his target react to his attack to enable him plan his next move

Sakuragi knew the end  of this battle even from the very momment he saw the yuki.  He would spill the blood of the traitor all over the field. Two souls were  lost because of him, that cannot be forgiven. The hyuuga didn't know why he killed them but he would ask him later on if the boy lasted longer in this battle. His face radiated  an innocent child needing help, yet his actions cannot be forgiven.






The white eyed  had send six fireball flying at the Yuki. Obviously, the young boy would wanna  jump to his  left hand side before the fireball got to him.






A smirk would appear on the face on the hyuuga, his target most likely did not know that he had the ability to manipulate these fireballs. Sakuragi would begin to run at a speed of 10 towards the  boy's direction. Just as the  boy began to make his wind jump   to his left side, Sakuragi allowed two fireballs to continue to travel straight such that they were ahead of the yuki by 2 meters, he would then curved them 90 degrees to the right to race towards the boy's direction, once the fire balls are in a straight line with the yuki, Sakuragi would cause them to hit the ground ( a 90 degree curve to the ground)  causing a 5 meters explosion each. While those fireballs moved ahead of the boy he  would simultaneously curve  another two of the fireballs, 45 degrees towards to the right   to slam into the boy, each fire ball a meter apart.  The last  two fire balls would also be manipulated simultaneously to curve a 90 degrees to the right to race ahead of the boy then another 90 degrees to the left to cut out his escape route, Once these two fireballs are in a straight line with the boy, Sakuragi would control them to hit the ground to cause a 5 meters fire explosion each. 






Even tho Sakuragi was just warming up, this attack would most likely kill the boy but not until he had his last words with Sakuragi. Sakuragi intend to ask him some questions before he died, so the hyuuga hoped he wouldn't die just yet.

He still did not get the chance to talk to the yuki. His lips would remain sealed. Sakuragi thought the boy would side jump but he instead would do something different. The hyuuga was eye folded by the black silk but was not blindfolded. He could see everything with his byakugan. If the yuki had no knowledge about his byakugan when he walked in here, by now he'd know he could see him even while blindfolded with the black silk.




Instead of side jumping, the yuki would dash forward at a speed 58 even while the fireballs were racing towards him at a speed of 75. The moment Sakuragi saw this  he let out an evil smile, He was 7 meters away from the yuki. He thought the boy would last longer but it appeared he would run into his own doom quickly. Sakuragi let the traitor dash forward, as he was about to duck under the fireball Sakuragi would thrust both palm forward shooting a wave of compressed chakra at the boy. The wave was 15 meters in diameter and 30 meters in length and would travel in a straight line up to 50 meters , simultaneously he would activate his vaccum burst which expelled invisible chakra outward in sphere up to 20 meters in all direction. Unless the yuki had  sensory skill, he would not be able to see it with his naked eye. The vacuum palm alone was enough to finish off the yuki but the white eyed used his vaccum burst just in case the boy moving at a speed of 58 tried something funny. 








At this rate dodging would be impossible, if the boy completely ducked  under the fire balls and would continue dashing forward to use his freezing aura, he would have run into the hyuuga's jutsu before he can use his own freezing aura jutsu. The only thing Sakuragi expected from him now is to say his last prayers. Unless the gods of the land intervened , he's as good as dead.

The hyuuga wanted to have a few words with  the boy. He wanted to know why he killed his friends. Unfortunately, the boy would leave for afterlife before he spiky haired had the chance. Sakuragi watched as his jutsu blew the boy away several meters. He thought the boy still got some life in him. The white eyed would walk to the body lying on the ground. He was sad to see such an innocent boy die at the early years of his life. The deed is done, the hyuuga had no regrets, he would carry the dead body and leave the forest.
