‘Stark’ would watch the situation unfold with a small smirk on his face, and as the man started to perform seals with both hands The Reaper would do something entirely unexpected… and something that would likely confuse both men... he would deactivate his Berserk Sage Transformation. Rather than releasing any offensive jutsu, as he had prepared the hand seals to do, he would activate his Mangekyo Sharingans ability and tip the scales in his and Ibari’s favour… by reducing both the man's overall chakra control and his speed (-70 Chakra and Speed). With that done the man would allow his smirk to grow even wide and watch as the rest of the scene unfolded. Truthfully he would have preferred it if he hadn’t had to act in this fight at all, and simply watch Ibari and the man fight… but this was taking place within Sunagakure itself, and he would not sit idly by and watch as the two men tore his village apart. Hopefully now this fight would be over quickly, and if it looked like either man was going to cause too much damage in the process then he would step in further and outright end the fight personally… but really, with such a significant reduction to his overall prowess he didn’t think the man would be able to last much longer against Ibari.

Ugh, the next time he wanted to see Ibari in action he would just get the man to actually enter The Bloodworks, that way he would be able to see the man in action

Right as Yasushi had begun to dart off to escape the eminent attack from behind, he felt as if he had become strangely heavier and weaker. Bogged down, almost. Although he was still mobile, his movements and abilities just felt severely inhibited. "What the hell? When did this happen?" he thought as he tried to continue his pace forward. He was significantly slower and this was troubling considering the attacks which were ahead of him as well. Due to his speed being severely nerfed, Yasushi's back foot got caught in the ever expanding swamp which expanded behind him. Immediately he felt a downward pull, in an attempt to drag the old man to the same depths of Hell in which his clone was taken. However before he would even get a chance to sink down below, a multitude of flaming hot beacons of fire would crash into his body. The flames would eat through the fabrics of his clothing and spread to his old skin and feeble bonus. He would cry out in pain as the intense heat would burn him alive and bring him to his knees. As he fell over his body continued to be sucked in by the pulling force of the ninja's makeshift swamp. There was nothing left for him to do except for pray internally that despite his horrendous recent actions, there would still be a better place waiting for him on the otherside.

As he burned and descended downward to shoulder length he lifted his head and made eye contact with the men who had sealed his fate. A single tear formulated in the well of his eye and rolled down the side of his face. He had failed the Kage when he served the vilalge, and now he had failed himself when rebelling against it. But now in death, he would finally have something to succeed at: transcending to the after life. A small smile stretched across his face, for at least Yasushi was proud to die in battle.

"See you in He..." he would begin to say until his body had been completely sunken into the jutsu of his opponent. Now, the looming threat of a crooked and geriatric genjutsu guru would be no more. The threat had been exterminated.

So it was written.

Whatever had happened caused the old man to crumble physically and fall victim of the swamp. It was a small smile that played upon his face as the lanterns came into their path and blew the house up sealing the fate of the old man in its entirety. Ibari remained on alert just in case the man had a ploy or escape tactic but once his body had been engulfed by the swamp he knew the old man was going to die.

Ibari listened to his muffled last words as he deactivated the technique once his head went under and lerformed a simple academy jutsu- the surface walking technique. Walking over the mud as it settled he would reach in and using the last vestiges of his Chakra signature, fish out the old man's body and throw it backwards so that it would land beside Stark. Shaking his hand free of the mud he would turn and walk toward Stark, " So that is that...does Kenshin want the body as proof of a completed mission?," he'd ask as he came closer to him. The swamp would begin to dimish and return to the sandy abyss as he waited for a response.

After Stark responded he would pick up the body of the old man and looked at the slightly charred body ," I wonder what bloodline he had to have used his own blood as a catalyst for his tecjniques....," it came as a surprise that he did not know exactly what he has been using, but maybe his partner did. If nothing else was needed, Ibari would pick up the body of one old man and begin to head to the hospital with the body in tow.

‘Stark’ would feel his eye twitch lightly as he watched the house collapse due to Ibari’s attack… but the attack had already been aimed and launched before he had debilitated the man, so truthfully he couldn’t blame the man. It wasn’t as if the house had been occupied, this was one of the poorest districts of Sunagakure had been all but abandoned by the civilians of the village a long time ago… so he supposed there wasn’t really any harm done, especially given the conditions of these buildings. Really, if anything he should be thanking the man for saving him the effort in tearing it down… but he wouldn’t, because at the end of the day he had still collapsed a building within the village with his attacks.

When the man fished the burnt and somewhat crushed body from his Swamp of the Underworld The Reaper would look down at it in annoyance, what a fool to actually betray him in the first place… and how much more foolish to have assumed that he would have been able to escape his fate. He would register the words of Ibari and look at the man with a small smirk.

“No need to deliver him the corpse right away, the boss already knows he is dead… he has eyes everywhere, and he has likely been watching everything that just happened. I dunno what type of bloodline that was, I’m not an expert on that shit like Ken is. Anyways, just be a bit more careful next time you’re forced to fight in the village, even someone with pockets as deep as the bosses cannot afford to make repairs like that every day.” The Man would state, finishing it all with a small smirk.

“Pleasure workin’ with ya Ibari, look forward to more missions in the future”
