Aroma couldn't help but notice the young boy's spicy tone that he directed towards the man named Ichigo. It was obvious that this boy was no laid back individual, but one that had quite a quick tongue and judgement. The Viperis then turned her attention to the more aged man that Ikari was approaching with spice. The woman had no clue how these events was going to turn into, but desired nothing to go too hostile between two she had yet to grow used to. She had already been thrown into a rough encounter of an aggressive individual that attacked her and two twins with seemingly violent intent. There was no telling if others within Kumogakure may share such aggression.

Not that Aroma had much room to talk. She wasn't an openly aggressive type, but deep down the viper had a dark desire. One that rarely made itself known. Either way of things decided to go south here, Aroma would be ready just in case the child decided to attack Ichigo. But that was only by chance. Maybe Ikari was just hot in the talk but not like the one she faced in the past. Aroma glanced down at the journal that was held within her gentle grasp. Instinctively one of her finger's delicately brushed carelessly across it's leather front surface. After he kindly redirected her formal expression, she doubted that the young boy would need the intentions to continue with his spicy front. The older man didn't seem to hold any ill intentions.

"I'm not one to usually judge quicky. . . so you don't have to feel the need to explain yourself." Aroma softly exclaimed to Ichigo after he mentioned the appearance of the bottles. She was not the type of person to be in the place of fast judgement. As for his last question, the viper mistress couldn't help but be a little surprised in him taking interest in her activity. "You are not wrong, I didn't come here just for a book. Although the outdoors bring me comfort, I came here to take inspiration in how one may use the training grounds." She spoke somewhat honestly. After the incident of the attack, and finding out that the once believed missing ninja had actually happened to be a fellow ninja, she wanted to learn more about others amongst the village in case of a similar event. But she had no interest in revealing about what her book was about.

The man standing before Ikari and Viperis seemed to be just another drunk, passed out in the middle of the training grounds. While he was far better spoken than the others, he still had that pompous attitude that the drunkards would get after years of drinking. "Ichigo" Ikari would mark his name into his memory, trying to think if he had ever seen this guy before. "The name seemed to remind him of someone, someone from the orphanage? Nah he's too old for that. I don't like him. I know that much." Ikari would continue to think to himself. While his distaste for the drunk in the training grounds was unfounded, for he had no reason not to like him. He was still just a child, despite his physique he still had the mind of a child.

"Seem like a regular drunk to me." Ikari would speak loud enough to where the old man would be able to hear, showing his distaste for him." While he couldn't help but to be angry for that was his nature, he couldn't help but to feel drawn to the guy. Looking up to him in a kind of way that a child looks to a father figure. Why did he feel this way? No one knows. There was just something about him that Ikari couldn't help but to trust. Maybe it was his own father issues, being abandoned in an orphanage can certainly do that to a young boy's mind.

He focused his eyes back onto the drunk, Ichigo and just looked at him while he spoke to Viperis until she spoke about getting inspiration about how people use the training grounds. Ikari flipped around to face Viperis, excited to answer her question. "They use this place to grow stronger and ready themselves for a life full of violence and war. Constant conflict with the rival villages and the preparation to become tools of war, at the hands of the Kage. If the rumors are true, then Konoha is the next victim that will succumb to Kumogakure no Sato's wrath! I wish to be here so I can become the greatest fighter in the village." Ikari's chakra would begin to seep out of his body again to match his excitement, swirling around his body lightly, but quickly.

Ichigo would simply stand there while he listened to the lavender haired woman. As expected her purpose of being out on the training grounds wasn't solely to read a book. No, what the young woman was looking for was something far more greater than that. "Inspiration? Why do you feel the need to become inspired?" A rather simple question, yet one that would require the young female to reflect on her own answer. Deep down even she would know it wasn't only about finding out one's purpose for using the training grounds. No, what she truly was looking for would soon be revealed.

The Drunk would then shift his attention towards the teenage boy who seemed to have a distaste towards alcohol. "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy." It would have worried Ichigo more if the boy were to ask for a sip of his bottle instead. That's the problem with drinking, if something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen. "I wish all teenagers can filter through songs instead of turning to drugs and alcohol. Ah, if only I had my guitar with me." Ichigo would then pay attention as a fire started to lit up in the boy's eyes upon hearing the word training.

He would listen as the teenager went on about violence and war. A wish of a boy who wanted to take part in the gruesome events between rivaling villages. "The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. What do you think that means?" Again he would ask a question they would not expect. But it's not like Ichigo didn't understand where he was coming from. Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood. "All’s fair in love and war."

It was clear as day that the young boy couldn't wait for it to happen. "What if we would benefit from allying ourselves with another village, would you be able to set aside your pride? Or does it not matter who you're up against as long as you are able to test your strength?" Modern war was more about politics than it was about fighting. Older men declare war. But it is youth that must fight and die. And how many would be willing to give up their life? He would then aim his last question towards both of them. "How far are you willing to go in order to achieve your goal?" No matter how small or big, everyone had a reason they fought, and Ichigo wanted to find out what both the lavender haired woman as the teenage boy were aiming for. "How far do you guys want to reach?"

With a brush of her hand, sweeping some of the free flowing strands of lavender hair away from her face, and behind one of her ears. While the other hand still hugged the book to her chest. The young fired up boy had mistaken her answer to Ichigo's question, and had assumed that she too was asking a question about the training grounds. But no what she meant was that she was here reviewing the works of others using it. Her 'inspiration' was gathering ideas and learning from the works of others training and techniques. So Aroma brushed aside the boy's answer to the nonexistent question, but still acknowledged the boy's excitement at the mention of training. The boy was either quick to please her or training gave him a burning passion, which after seeing how hard he pushed himself, she wasn't surprised.

The two males exchanged their own opinions about the corrupted liquid of alcohol, something that the lady didn't judge. Everyone has their own form of tastes, something that a child wouldn't completely understand of course. Many fine ninja may go home and crack upon a bottle of sake and no one would even acknowledge that sometimes to ease the battle horrors, one may chose to numb it through some sort of corruption. Aroma as well had her own corrupted ways of easing her mind, the unspoken scars that are sculpted across the mids of her inner thighs was of her doing. Besides she too enjoy to have a drink every now and then as well.

With a slight tilt of her head, and her soft lips pinching together for a brief moment, the woman would answer. "I've been shown that I can't completely trust the shinobi even within the walls of my own homeland. So I'm sure you can guess why I desire to learn from others." At first Aroma wasn't sure that she would speak about this, but with the little she did felt like it wouldn't change much anyways. It still hardly gave away much of herself or her arts. Despite the next reply that the Viperis gives to the man. "I find it shameful to live if you can't achieve your purpose. So that should speak what depths I will take. Not that I would instantly take my life in any situation, but if I fail while still breathing. . . I would make sure to disregard myself of worthy at all and feel that punishment will be fit."

"The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. What do you think that means?" Ichigo's words would echo within Ikari's mind. He had always loved dissecting the words that others spoke and this phrase was one that he enjoyed putting thought into. "Fighting is not something that someone does due to their hatred towards whom they fight, but they actually want to protect the place they come from and whatever they have to lose if the fight is lost." Ikari thought to himself, unsure if it was his turn to actually speak within this conversation.

"What if we would benefit from allying ourselves with another village, would you be able to set aside your pride? Or does it not matter who you're up against as long as you are able to test your strength?" Ikari was intrigued by this man. While he did seem to be just some drunk before, he was shaping up to be much more than that. The intriguing drunk continued to bring up interesting questions that would entice the brain of both Aroma and Ikari.

The adults continued to speak and Ikari couldn't help but remember what Ichigo had asked, continuing to replay it within his mind, "How far would I go? What are my goals?" Ikari thought to himself as the woman with the violet hair would speak her answer.  He reminded himself of his goal, of his desire in life. He wanted to be the enforcer of the village, sent out on missions and tasks far and wide given to him directly from the Kage. The feeling of being feared and respected at the same time was the thing he desired more than anything.

He would wait for Aroma to speak her answer before facing Ichigo once again. "A true warrior fights so he shall one day never have to fight again. A trust warrior fights to protect, not to harm." Ikari would think of the next thing that Ichigo would ask both Aroma and Ikari. He remembered it was about the forming of alliances with villages elsewhere and whether or not he would be able to swallow his pride to form those bonds with rivaling villages.

"Just like I said that a true warrior fights so they will one day no longer need to. Forming strong bonds with the other villages that we can benefit from then that would push forward the idea of not having to fight any longer." Ikari felt confident with his answer. "But, while there are reasons to form alliances, there are also reasons for villages to go to war against each other. So that we may keep down the aggressors and provide the masses with a more solid sense of confidence in the peace that we enjoy."

"As for how far I would go to reach my goals? My life is dedicated to only the betterment of this village. I want to become the enforcer of Kumo. The one that the Kage will call on when something is needed to be done. That is my goal and I will do everything to accomplish it."

Ichigo would first listen to the lavender haired woman as she started to speak, giving an answer to his question. Once she had finished he would then come up with an answer of his own, replying to how she was feeling. “There’s this saying, it goes like this. Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none. Unfortunately for people like us it’s rather difficult to follow those words to the letter.” If he heard her correct she experienced something that caused her being unable to trust her fellow Kumogakure shinobi. The Drunk could imagine how it made the female shinobi feel. “The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them. But something like that will take time.” He would then take a moment to think about the second part of the young woman’s answer.

Purpose, punishment, maybe even pride. The lavender haired woman in front of him would hate to lose, it was an attitude he could admire. “There is no shame in failing. Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.” Just like Ichigo, the young woman was human, capable of making mistakes. But the most important thing was how they would deal with said mistakes. People grow stronger everytime they overcome any hardship. He would then direct himself once more to her. “You talk about achieving your purpose, but you still haven’t told me what yours is. Do not feel embarassed to share, after all maybe we are able to help you achieve it.” Of course it was completely up to the girl to decide whether or not to tell him what exactly her motivation or resolution was.

While Ichigo and Aroma were talking the teenage boy had some time to come up with his own answers to the Drunk’s questions. Now that the lavender haired woman was finished and received some more things to reflect on, Ichigo would take his time to listen to what Ikari had to say. “There will always be conflict, there will always be war. People thrive on chaos, some even want to see the world burn. But it is as you say. We fight because we need to protect, not because we want to inflict pain on others.” While he was still young, the teenager did know what was most important. The village. To fight so that those who cannot fight for themselves stay safe. To make sure no harm comes to the weak, young and old who were in need of protection.

Ichigo was glad to hear the young boy putting the village before his own pride. They were Kumogakure shinobi, born and raised to protect the village. They were the soldiers who were trained to make sure their home would become and remain strong. “You say you will do everything to accomplish your goals. Now tell me, is there something you’re looking for? Something you want or need to learn in order to fulfill that ambition of yours?” Ichigo would then direct himself to the young woman once more, hoping she came up with an answer to his earlier questions. “Same goes for you dear, what is it you need in order to achieve your purpose?” The Drunk hoped the two of them knew he was referring to their training. Before he could help them he first had to find out what they specialised in.

And who would have thought, that a passerby could have overheard the conversation. Let alone to stop and intently listen before He himself would step forward. The Man wore the symbol of the village proudly on his flak, a mixture of red and black hair that waived down his back, with a not so normal hair cut. Standing roughly six foot, maybe five eleven depending on his mood and thus his stance, He approched the genin of the fine village they all serve.

Smiling he would boast out a rowdy tone of words to make them aware of his presence amongst them "Well Hello, Sorry could not help but overhear the wisdom and words that makes me proud. Loyalty to the village, Patriatizim at its finest" He would then look around at the genin to see if he could note anything pertanet about them.

When Suddenly he realized he forgot to introduce himself and he would chuckle nervously "Sorry about that, Forgot myself for a moment, Name is Kusari Nice to meet you three. And lets sate curiosity and go ahead and state, I am a Jounin of this very fine village." He was only recently obtained of such a title but he was proud of his work.

As he looked down at the three he could not help but to think of his time as a genin, his team, and more importantly the man who believed in him and drove him the furthest, his mentor. He would not be so far deep in thought about it though to ignore any statements or questions directed his way, But he did need a moment to clear his head before retorting as nessicary.

He stood there with a black shirt under his flak, and his pants were to match with red accents, at his hip was a chain connecting the front and back of his pants, to most this was just decorative, a choice in style, for him this was his dedication to his clan, without fully giving it away.

Lacuna (Open - Page 2 Empty Re: Lacuna (Open

The Viperis woman continued to hug her leather bounded journal to her chest. This man Ichigo was definitely a curios one. A man who asked alot of questions without her knowing his purpose of doing so. Was he testing her of some sorts? Or was he simply just curious in them? Should she watch the words that formed at her lips? Aroma didn't detect any deceiving demeanor from this tall curios individual. And continued to explain herself after he put the input about trusting someone first to know if their trusted. In a particular encounter that happened some time ago, she was not given the option to do this. "Unfortunately in my situation I was not given the time to attempt trust on this deceiver. If another time like that takes place, I'd prefer to be ready."

Then came the question about what her purpose was. . . something that Aroma didn't know how to answer. That sort of question could give away too much about the viper, than what she was comfortable with. She replayed his advice of trusting to see who is worthy of trust, but that display of words could just be a coax to get her trusting him and for the lad to use that as an advantage. The viper always felt the need to play it careful when it came to exchanging word play. A person could use anything against you. From your sinful desires. . . to your worst nightmares. The Ikari boy spoke highly about the ways of a warrior, but not everyone was meant to be such. Like Aroma for example, she was not inspired to become his definition of a warrior. She desired to become a full fledged Viperis. To feel worthy of her title and experiment for into her deadly arts. To be seen as an assassin, not a warrior. One who seeks to harm others under the command of a worthy successor.

She was no where near that goal though. Her road was long and not nearly begun. What else did she desire? What else did this lavender haired kunoichi seek to accomplish. "To earn the attention of a worth overlord. . ." there it was. Something that the Viperis also looked for. She wanted to become useful to another. To be of use and to be directed into her path with full accuracy. "To do that I can not be lenient with myself. If I just kept myself fail with just a slap on a wrist I'll never seem worthy in the eyes of a stronger being." That detail of her didn't seem dangerous to speak out loud as her answer. Not long after, the little group of ninja would be interrupted by another voice of a man. Aroma felt the tug of her head as she directed her attention to the new individual. No one she's ever met before. One who claimed to be a jounin. Quite a high position and not many around. From behind her eye bindings, the woman would look over his form and figure. Her eye movement being undetectable to the lad due to the cloth bindings around her head. She stood quiet, not knowing who the individual was.

Ikari listened to the words of Ichigo once more, still being interested in this man even though hes still could not understand just why he was so interested with this individual. He seemed like someone that Ikari could actually learn from and have interest in, maybe one day they would be on the battlefield together, both with a sword in hand. He didn't usually pay too much attention for anyone when it came to conversation, but he felt that this guy, Ichigo, the drunk of Kumo, was actually someone that could be trusted. Time would only tell if this was a true statement or not.

Ichigo asked Ikari if there was something that he was needing, something he was searching for to be able to accomplish his goals. Ikari thought for a few seconds and he was sure that he had an answer, he did in fact have one thing that he was desperately needing. While he haled from the clan Senju, and was born with the ability that most people did not have the ability to weild, being the Wood release. HE didn't have the ability to use his own clan's chakra release due to his lack of grasp on the Earth elemental transformation.

He thought again for a few seconds and he finally came up with the words that he wanted to speak, "There is something that I am needing, something that is holding me back from attaining what I truly desire. I am from clan Senju, the wielders of the chakra nature transformation of Wood release. The advanced element that requires two basic elements being Earth and Water. Not sure if you know about Wood release. But the Senju can combine those two elements together to form a whole new transformation that is Wood release. I have working hard to just hone my skills with my primary elemental transformation being Water, but I am needing help beginning the work with the new Earth Element." Ikari would finally answering the short question with his overly long answer when a new person would enter the conversation.

Ikari's guard went straight up with the arrival of someone new and his attitude would return to his mind. The new person wore a flak jacket and some insignia of the village, "A Jounin? I didn't even know we had any of those in this village." Ikari thought to himself. He turned to face the newcomer as he began to speak in a jovial tone. "Kusari." Ikari would state again in his mind, trying to remember the name for future reference. Ikari didn't like him. There was something about him that was... off. "Hi...Kusari." Ikari would say with a slight growl.

Having nothing else to say to the newcomer, he would simply stay quiet and let someone else do the talking to the new guy.

Lacuna (Open - Page 2 Empty Re: Lacuna (Open

Ichigo would give the two of them some time to reflect on his questions when he heard a voice coming from the background. When he looked over to see who it belonged to the Drunk saw an unfamiliar individual who had joined their conversation. Red hair, black shirt and pants accentuated by the same color of his long hair, a chain on his pants and piercings in his ear, all which were part of the outfit of the interesting looking figure. All that was missing now was his name, which followed soon. "Nice to meet you Kusari, Jounin Of Kumogakure" he replied to the male standing in front of him.

Ichigo noticed how both the lavender haired woman and the teenage boy were rather hesitant and shy to speak, so the oldest of the bunch decided to be the one doing the introductions. "This pretty face over here is called Aroma. The one over there is Ikari and last but not least, my name is Ichigo." Being that they all just met the Drunk thought it was wise not to share too much personal information. The stranger didn't seem like a bad guy but better safe than sorry for now. "So, Kusari. What brings you here? Stretching your legs or something requiring your attention?" It was a simple question, showing that he was interested in the man and that he was more than welcome to join the conversation.

In the meantime Ichigo had listened to the answers of Aroma and Ikari. From what he could understand it seemed that the young woman wanted to earn the attention and become worthy of someone stronger. It was a common wish amongst humans, the desire to become useful to the most important in their eyes. "I'm sure there will be a time when you can prove yourself to be useful. What do you think you are missing in order to become worthy?" He didn't mean to pry, but it seemed like she was starting to open up more with each and every question she answered.

Once Ikari was done thinking about his answer he started to share more about his heritage. The teenage boy told them he was a Senju, the clan famous for their Wood release. The advanced element consisting of water and earth. The boy had an affinity to the first, but was lacking the second, or so he told. Although Ichigo wasn't particularly gifted when it came to ninjutsu, he did have earth as his natural element. The Drunk wouldn't mind teaching the kid a thing or two, if that was what he so desired. "Earth you say? Well you're in luck today. As a matter of fact I could show it to you, if that is what you want." Whether or not he accepted the invitation was up to Ikari.

Ichigo would then direct himself towards the red haired Jounin again. "Do you have something you'd like to add?" Someone of his rank surely would be able to give them some advice. "With your experience I'm certain you have something interesting to say about things like purpose, dreams, goals." He was curious about how Kusari would be looking at the topic.
