Daku Uchua's Genin Exam

Daku woke up and with a big smile on his face for this was the big day, he hopped on his feet, his hair all messy and felt a deep vertigo feeling knocking him back down to his bed. Still with a surprised look on his face from the feeling quickly returned to a smile. He left his room and went downstairs to the tavern. His father being the drunk he was always boozing in taverns, which caused Daku to make many acquaintances at each of them. This tavern in particular belonged to Granny Sho, an old lady with a knack for compassion and a life of wisdom. “Oi Granny Sho, it is here the day I turn Genin!” He said to her combing his hair preparing to sit at the counter to eat. With an equally vivid smile, she came out of the kitchen with a plate of eggs, and ramen. “I guess that means from here on, you will be on your own, is that right?” She giggled as she handed the plate in front of Daku who was starving. “No way granny, I’ll go on missions and stuff, but I will always be here to help you Granny Sho!” He said with a laugh on his face as he lifted his chopsticks and started scarfing down food at an uncontrollable rate. Granny Sho rolled up a newspaper and slapped him over the head with it. “Where are your manners?!? Freeloading little jdfkl” She began to murmur words that were not the nicest in terms of language. Daku and her shared a special bond, similar to motherly love. Growing up without someone to call mom made Daku warm up to the ones around the village who knew his story.
Daku finished eating and went outside, full belly and well-rested. The weather was very nice, Konoha was a filled with villagers, markets, and a beautiful scenery. Everyone was so nice it reminded Daku why he was doing this in the first place. To become a shinobi is to protect the ones you love and hold dear. That was his goal, not sure quite how yet, but the first step to really finding out was to pass this exam. He came upon Konoha academy, the academy was so large and not to mention it was also basically the same location as the Hokage’s office, therefore it could outlook on the entire village. Around the walls of the academy, ninja were gathering and all thought they'd be ready to take their genin exam. He went in and sat down, many other ninjas were awaiting their turn. The genin exams were more than just a small test to prove yourself, it was a rite of passage for ninja. Daku waited his turn, his palms were clammy just and his body was shaking with excitement.

One student, Akio just finished performing and he had done great, setting the bar for Daku to be able to perform. Feeling a little bit nervous he just remembered the simple rules. In order to pass, you must perform both jutsu, and their quality cannot waver, he knew both jutsu but he was wondering if the quality was going to be up to par. Daku thought back to the moment he joined the academy, and how much he had learned since then. He has lerned a few jutsu, and he’s gotten much stronger in a very short time, he was feeling a sense of optimism at this moment, and finally it happened.


“Daku Uchiha”he heard it from the teacher at such a normal expectation tone. Daku lifted his head at the sound of his name, he got up "That's me, right here" and he could hear whispers around the room, expectations about his fate. A student of his age participating in the genin exams, the thought of it sounded preposterous, someone would believe he has been a life failure. Yet, it was his motto that he chooses his own destiny. The ability to perform was something that only your mind can conflict you on. He walked to the front of the room and listened to the teacher,“Alright, Daku, you know what to do” the teacher said a bit bored probably having seen a thousand of these samples per year. He wanted to do something the teacher hasn’t seen before, but could he do it, he now had a goal, not only transform into the teacher but clone the transformed image more than once. Is it possible? Daku thought to himself, sitting there looking at the class, some around started to poke fun at him as if he was choking but Daku was a thinking man. Daku shook his head side to side quickly brushing off the idea, bare minimum, that is all he had to do. He lifted his hands slowly before performing his first jutsu. Ready in position and standing at attention, he performed the hand seals he had learned from Nekrun and the academy book, a little while ago. Having performed it before, it should not be too hard, ram snake tiger, here we go! He performed all three hand seals and with ease his clone was standing next to him.  

He looked at his clone as if he was his own examiner, and he inspected it out loud. “As you can see, this clone is of tip top shape, he is not physical but he looks strong, well formed and not to mention handsome. How could you not love him? Vision of sexiness!” Daku chuckled slightly at humour that no one else had laughed at. In fact, there was very little sounds from the audience as Daku was up in front of the teacher, he heard one small slap sound, and he could only guess that was one student awaiting who facepalmed at Daku’s joke. He did not know what their problem was, that was a classic. “Alright, alright, I’ll move on, get outta here, you dawg you” The clone dispersed, and finally there was a slight laugh by someone in the audience. At least someone understood the humor.

“Now I will go ahead and proceed with the transformation jutsu if I do not need to repeat the clone one…” Daku nodded willingly as he took a deep breath and went on to perform the transformation jutsu. The transformation was a tricky jutsu, while easy to perform it requires a really intricate knowledge of the design of someone else’s body, which is why it is so hard to perfect. Usually used for recon and stealth, this particular jutsu could be of some serious use in the oncoming future. Aspiring E rank ninja have a hard time mastering this one, luckily Daku had already performed it once before. He lifted his hands taking a deep breath to recenter some of his chakra from the previous clone jutsu. He performed the handsigns, Dog boar ram, here we go, his hands quickly formed the three hand signs and in front of the proctor was an image of the proctor himself, it was Daku, he had transformed himself into the proctor just he had done the day it was taught to him. Another aspect that made this jutsu a bit tough is that unlike most jutsu, it has a constant upkeep as it is really just an illusion veil. Daku held out the jutsu long enough for everyone to see it and then released it causing a poof and for his transformation to wear off.  It was official he had performed both jutsu, and with this, finished the genin exam. “How’s that teach? Good enough to get my headband and join the others as a genin?”
