A Lgend's First Step
Tue Jun 20, 2017 7:13 am
Young Minori Hyuuga set out to better herself, which started with learning her first ninja technique. She sat in a Buddhist prayer pose with her legs crossed and her hands folded together in the hand sign known as ram, which consists of the left thumb on top, and the hands being pressed together vertically, and she whispered, "Hitsuji." As she formed the first of the three hand seals she felt her body chemistry changing in a way that would alter her life. This was Chakra molding, the initial step in shinobi training. The next hand seal was Snake,. She clasped her hands together, with her left thumb as well as her right pinkie finger being the borders of her ten digit hand sign. “Mi,” she said at a regular volume. That bizarre power that had always been inside of her yet was so new to her, “Chakra,” as it was called by her sensei at the academy, was picking up speed inside of her. As to finalize her first Jutsu she had to form a third hand seal, Tiger. She folded her pinkies and ring fingers together, with her index fingers and thumbs pressed together and pointed upwards. “Tora!” she roared, as the technique was ready.
A mere couple of inches, just below the length of a foot, her chakra began to pool. It was not thick enough to become something physical, lacking in consistency even when compared to a fine mist, but it was definitely doing something. It started from the ground before creeping its way up, and as it moved up slowly through the air she felt another sensation moving up her own body, as though her Chakra was scanning her physical form as to make absolutely certain that no mistake was made. It started from the soles of her shoes, well polished black dress shoes with an inch of heel, and crawled up her slender, white stockings clad legs. With her superior peripheral she saw everything that happened as it happened, well before it would have been visible to the average Shinobi. It was almost as if she was being 3-D printed, the operative word being almost, as this was an illusion. Not the kind that was inserted directly into the mind of one's enemies like a Genjutsu, but something that painted the air itself. She had created it, and while some other Academy Students would view this as the highest success, she had to control it.
At first while staying in her seated position, she tried to will her clone to stand up. She thought at it and thought at it, but it was just sitting there, giving here that blank stare, something so unattractive to see coming from her own gorgeous, pearl eyes. With that irritation she felt the canals and rivers of Chakra flowing through her agitate with her mood, so she went with it. She focused on the ebb and flow of that stream while thinking about what she wanted from the clone, and it obeyed. It stood up, making no noise nor disturbing any of its surroundings as it did so. She willed it to walk a circle around her, and so it did. She stood up herself, disturbing a bit of the sod as she did so. She found that as long as she kept focus on the movement of her precious ninja life force, making her clone do what she wanted was very easy, even if she was moving her own body. Facial expressions, digit manipulation, lip movements, and the movement of her clothes and hair to match the wind resistance if she made it run were harder, but not impossible. This attention to detail is what she believed was going to make her one of the best.
