Before she knew it the boy was gone in a flash. At that point, it felt to her as if he wanted nothing to do with her, but at least she got some of her frustration out.

"Was it my fault? Did I come on too strong again?" she would think to herself left there standing in the cold. It was quite an awkward way to leave her. She brushed off the pain and just continued to stare at the night sky, watching as the moon continued to wane more and more each night.

Why did she feel so sick so suddenly? She continued to mentally beat herself up until she became too tired to do much, practicing mixing chemicals for her Jutsu she had been practicing, trying to create the perfect pheromone to use, but nothing was seeming to work, making her become even more frustrated with herself.

She then came to the realization that if she were to continue what she was doing, whether it be training, sparring, sulking, or thinking, she would just continue to spiral ever downward. Ayame knew she needed to sleep, but felt as though something was calling her to stay out. As if something wanted her to spend the night out there in the cold.

Slowly she trudged back to the hotel trying not to think or to reflect and slowly zoning out with each step. She got lost walking around the village a bit but made it back to her room which was left pitch black and a mess by her. She slowly picked up the sheets that had been scattered all around the room, folding them rather neatly and making herself a futon on the floor with only two of the many pillows that dotted the floor.

She then laid down with pheromone mixes still pouring through her head as she attempted to figure out what would work best to increase melatonin levels in her opponents. Of course, it wouldn't come easy.

If only she could find one that worked on herself. Maybe she'd wake up the next morning with a new idea after finally getting some sleep on an otherwise sleepless night.
