Shiroi wasn't paying enough attention to the girl speaking to catch her non-verbal 'hints'. However, Shiroi was paying enough attention to what Shina was saying to get the hint. No need to push more now, there were other ways of getting similar enough info.
Shiroi decided to cross her legs once more, as Shina finished the hypothesis. "So, there may be another potential heir to the throne? And I thought Hoshi was fucked up before this. Christ." Shiroi was once again looking towards Shina, but she was obviously caught up in her own thoughts.
Unless Shina made it clear she had more to say, Shiroi would stand up after a minute or so, big her farewell, and leave the alcohol behind, except for the open bottle she still held onto.

A few minutes to process the information was justified, after all Shina had just told the other kunoichi something that was enough to incite a revolution in the country's current sociopolitical climate. She also appreciated that Shiroi did the processing in silence, not asking questions the other jounin had no answer to. If there really were gods and she was mistaken, then there was no child in the shadows biding his or her time to take the throne - and Shina suspected it was a "her" given the way it was so soundly hushed - but it couldn't be ignored that the shorter ninja had earned herself a place in the Queen's good graces, and this would go a long way to explaining why.
Shina's farewell was just as understated as her guests, without much ado. Shiroi left as quietly as she had arrived.
Perhaps they would get along after all.
(Exit Shina)

A stumble at the door, a short fall, and a quietly mumbled 'fuck' was all it took to remind Shiroi of just how small she was. She would quickly get back and rush off, not looking behind her longer than needed to close the door.
