Dragon Summon Auk

Kamina thought about that dragon he had met the other day at the Dragon Ravine maybe he could summon another Dragon of his. So he set out that day to practice summoning he remembered the fear and anxiety he had that day at the Dragon Ravine but at the same time he was excited. He practiced the basic necessities for summoning blood a surface and having in kind what you want to summon so he went to the training field to practice. And as soon as he got there he wondered if the place was big enough for a dragon he didn't know what he was going to summon. Is it going to be random he thought or maybe whatever dragon wants to show up. He figured he show try instead of speculating so he bit his thumb to draw a little bit of blood then streaked it on the ground to summon. But what appeared was little more than a slug he felt disheartened what did he do wrong.
What was wrong with him would he not summon he then wondered maybe if he was not worthy to summon the dragons what of the were purposely refusing his summons. He tried it again and this time the slug was smaller almost microscopic he felt terrible he couldn't do anything right could he. Why was everything so difficult he just wanted an edge in combat and so he tried and failed again. And the cycle continued. Kamina tried to calm himself down before he inevitably got angry he wanted to do this right and he didn't want to give up so easily. All that time spent journeying towards the Dragon Ravine unaware of what was even truly there he couldn't just get frustrated and give up like this. He had signed the contract he didn't know what was wrong he decided he would learn better after getting something to eat.
And as he left the training field he suddenly felt cruddy why couldn't he do it he did everything that was required this want something that needed to be practiced was it. If that was the case he should have been told this from the beginning or at least when he signed the contract. And speaking of the contract what was it again he never read it what if there was some secret requirement he didn't know about. Is it really required to travel all the way back to the dragon ravine.
So after eating he noticed that his food resembled that of a dragon this was a definite sign. He quickly paid and rushed back to the training field and as soon as he got there he claimed down and closed his eyes. He bit his right thumb until it bleed again ignoring the pain he pressed it against the ground and summoned! And after the smoke cleared standing before him was a red dragon as he moved up revealed a black underbelly. Kamina smiled he had done it
