So I found this poem I wrote exactly a year ago and I wanted to share it with you all and get feedback on it.

Day by Day

Day by day, night by night, you tell them you're ok but your chest is tight

You live through the pain as if to say, you live your life night by night and day by day

Although you lie fighting back tears from your eyes, you can't help but feel as if they are three times your size

Emotions are fought until clarity is sought

Only then will you know the pain you've truly wrought

. Day by day, night by night, you no longer feel as if your chest is tight

You've embraced your emotions and the acts of decay, you live your life night by night and day by day.
