Medicine and Summons!

Togi chuckled slightly to himself. "Senpai that is merely the nature of your chakra I am not saying that you yourself are dangerous or out of control" Togi clarified. "And judging by the skills and techniques you have already mastered I would say you already have a good control of your chakra, I also very much doubt you would accidentally set someone alight unless you were actively trying to" Togi continued in an attempt to reassure his friend.

Returning his attention to detoxifying the poison sting Togi continued on focussing on drawing out the venom that was bound to the boy's muscles and absorbing it in to water. After a good while of attempting this Togi felt like he could absorb no more yet he knew from his senses that there was still more venom bound to the muscle. 'Perhaps the water is saturated with the maximum venom that it can absorb...' Togi thought to himself. 'Well let's try to get rid off what I have absorbed so far perhaps I can do this in stages...' Togi silently added. Tightening his hold of the Tiger hand seal Togi willed the chakra infused and now venom filled what to slowly seep out of the boy's muscle and head back towards the small incision where it had entered the body. Slowly, ever so slowly the venomous water began to escape the muscles and edge slowly towards the opening after some time a small bubble of water began to form at incision point almost like a tiny transparent worm poking its head out. A thin tendril of water then began to snake its way back towards the bowl it had come from this water however was no longer lightly glowing with chakra but was dull and speckled with black as though it had been contaminated. 

Slowly the bowl refilled itself as all of the chakra infused water that Togi had directed in came back out. 'Well that's all of the water out now to separate out the venom'  Togi silently declared as he concentrated on pushing the venom to the bottom of the bowl where it began to form a thick viscous black lump. 

Togi resisted the urge to sigh as Ryu pushed a large amount of chakra quickly in to his head despite the warning that he had just been given, while the other Genin might have tried to hide the mistake that he had made to Togi who relied on being able to sense chakra in order to perceive the world around him the movement of chakra was quite obvious particularly when his attention was on Ryu and they were in such close proximity.

Togi then offered Ryu a small gentle smile. "Yes senpai my primary elemental affinity is indeed water however you should have already known that as not only did I mention it earlier but you saw me use the water clone jutsu..." Togi replied. Togi then offered a slight nod. "Yes you seem to have learnt the basics rather quickly though I would suggest you try to teach yourself how to recognise people based on their chakra signature alone" Togi suggested. "Hmmm that is a good question, I have done a fair amount of reading on this matter.... Most texts seem to agree that the average limit that most people can detect chakra from is around one hundred metres with the stronger signatures being easier to detect. I myself can detect chakra from much further away... Perhaps ten or twenty times that distance infact..." Togi revealed. "The only certain way to know is to practice and find out what your limit is..." Togi declared.

Togi then focussed his full attention back on the bowl and began to channel more of his chakra in to the water causing it to slowly once again glow with chakra as it had done before. 'Hopefully two times will be enough...' Togi thought to himself as he focussed and took control of the water for the second time. Slowly a thin tendril of softly glowing water snaked back up and slid back in to cut burrowing under the skin. Ryu by now had likely adapted to the strange feeling that it caused but if he now had his eyes open it would certainly be rather disconcerting to watch.

"How does your leg feel?" Togi questioned as he concentrated on penetrating the walls of the muscle tissue with the medical chakra infused water. It was once again a rather slow process but gradually Togi got all of the water to where it needed to be. Now that water was pure again Togi found it a lot easier to absorb the remnants of the scorpion venom that was still bound to the muscle. 'Thats it I think I got nearly all of it, Ryu-senpai's immune system should be able to handle what's left...' Togi thought to himself. The procedure however was not quite over, he still needed to get the water and venom out and then heal the wound.

'Well I guess this counts as my first time as an actual field medic...' Togi thought to himself as he once again drew the water out of Ryu's body. After a few moments of concentration the tendril of water containing the last remnants of venom emerged from Ryu's body and slowly descended in to the bowl. With all the water and venom finally out Togi let out a sigh of relief and broke apart his hand seal.

"There that's you clean apart from the tiniest of traces. " Togi declared as he held out a hand that seemed to spontaneously begin to glow with chakra. The medical chakra then washed over the tiny incision that he had made to perform the procedure and slowly the cut healed up leaving perfectly smooth skin.

"Perhaps I should have some of this used to make an anti-venom incase you ever decide to hide in a scorpions nest again" Togi declared with a small smile as he carefully lifted up the bowl of water that now contained a small blob of viscous black material at the bottom.

While Togi saying that he wouldn't hurt anyone accidentally hurt anyone was reassuring, it didn't persuade him completely. The chakra he sensed was hot, bright and itching to burn. Burn everything until it was ashes, maybe it was his own bias, though. After all Togi's chakra senses were much better. 

100 meters wasn't a bad distance to be able to detect someone, but if he was sensing them, they could probably sense him. Which was a problem, the genin could be an effective hider for his team in the exams. There were sure to be shinobi though that could sense enemies at greater ranges though. 

The ninja moved his foot around as Togi asked, but he kept his leg straightened. "It feels fine actually, still weird but fine." When the doctor said he was done all Ryu wanted to do was jump up and down, but he didn't want to move in case his ally was still working. "Yeah, I think I'll look before jumping into a sand pile next time." The boy said smiling to his teammate.

Togi gave a small smile at the news that Ryu's leg now felt absolutely fine. "That is good to hear..." Togi exclaimed as he rolled out his sealing scroll once again and placing his palm upon it he channelled a small amount chakra in to it. In response there was a small puff of chakra smoke and the small bowl complete with water and extracted venom disappeared from sight. Togi then carefully rolled the scroll back up and slipped it away inside his robes.
 
"I can sense you are eager to be on the move again senpai, I am all done so please move about and test out that leg" Togi declared before he slowly climbed back to his feet and brushed down . Now standing Togi kept his chakra senses trained on his friend, the young scorch user's chakra had now completely returned to normal suggesting that he was in perfect health but Togi kept his chakra senses trained on him regardless just in case there were any unexpected fluctuations.
 

"So senpai is there anything else you think you need to know before the Jounin exams?" Togi then questioned as he started to wonder just how prepared Ryu would currently be for the exams. He knew that the young Genin now knew a number of powerful offensive jutsu, he had observed first hand that he knew the basics of first aid which was an essential skill in the young medics opinion and he now had the basics of both sensing and suppressing chakra... "Senpai how are your defensive abilities?" Togi suddenly questioned as he realised that his senpai was more of an offensive type.

When he was finally told that he could move the ninja stood up did a few jumps, ran out of the shed and did a couple of laps before returning. This all probably took less than a minute using his high speed, but while he was running he used his chakra senses to find out what else was around. There was Togi of course and someone with an earth element walking away from them. When the genin finally returned to the shed he looked up to his ally.

"There are still a few jutsu, I need to learn. Like there is a wind one, which is A-Rank and a fire one." Those were at the top of the list of things to learn before next weeks Jounin exams. "As far as defensive abilities go I only have the gale palm." I think a good offense though is the best defense, but maybe Togi wants to learn one or teach one.

Togi smiled to himself as Ryu ran about now that he was allowed to move, Togi idly wondered how his fellow Genin would do on a mission or a test that required staying still for an extended period of time. The good news was that Ryu's chakra continued to behave as it should. 

Togi was not surprised when Ryu replied that there was a couple more elemental jutsu's he wanted to learn, it was no big surprise really since that seemed to be his thing... big explosive jutsu.

"That is the wind jutsu that is capable of deflecting back projectiles is it not?" Togi questioned. "I believe Yoshi-chan used that jutsu against me when we sparred." Togi elaborated. "The reason that I ask is currently you seem highly specialised with regards to offensive techniques. While that is not a bad thing you need to be able to defend yourself aswell particularly if you are going to be going up against more experienced ninja" Togi declared. "Now I am not one to talk as you most likely outdo me in terms of both offensive and defensive abilities but it is something to consider..." Togi continued.

"How long is it before you will have to leave for the Jounin exams? Before you go I would like to have a full on spar with you to make sure your skill set is well rounded... and perhaps we could get Yoshi-chan involved aswell" Togi suggested.

Waving off the involvement of more people, because it would seem the day was getting late and the young genin was getting tired, he yawned. "Sorry, Togi exams are in a few days and I have to start packing." I think Togi also needs to go pack and do some other things. "Want to call it a day and see what we can do, when we get back?"
