This place... well, Kozata had no idea what to do. However, rather than standing around like a total doofus, it took Dio to remind him of the significance of Xyxer's bringing him here. With a solemn look on his face, he removed a kunai from his pouch. Aligning it with the scar on his palm, he would repeat the action he had taken before, drawing the edge across his flesh. The pain was something Dio could cope with, while that idiot Kozata boxed himself into his own mind, whining quietly.
The blood dripped into the earth, a libation to Kirigakure. He'd let it bleed out, the pain of it piercing through him, until the Mizukage gave him permission to bind it up.

"You'll now find your place more fitting in the Jounin ranks." He looked faintly past the monument, wondering what he'd daydream about when he went back to the office. He snapped himself back to reality momentarily, "Congratulations. Try to keep it up."
