Chasing The Wind

Once he had been told a story. About how many years ago people would go out from there village on adventures, seeking glory, fame and riches among other things. Songs had been written, stories had been told. Legends passed down from one generation to another. All of these things stemmed from man's natural curiosity. Takeo had never been the sought to bother with such stories. The closest he had came to delving into them was by becoming 'friends' with Xyxer. The Abysswalker, Atlas, Mizukage. Truly he was a man, or rather boy, of many names. Names held power of course, knowing the names of things gave one strength. Knowing the right names gave one security, it gave them influence. That was why he now stood at the docks of Shima.. no, of Kirigakure. He was on a small quest, one that would seem foolish to any person other than Takeo. Perhaps he had finally snapped, lost his mind like his 'friend'. Maybe it was all just an elaborate excuse to escape from the shackles that bound him to this place. As with everything he did, Takeo knew not of why he was boarding a boat, nor where he was going to go. He was chasing the wind, performing a meaningless task.

He was searching, searching for the name of all things.

[Exiting Kirigakure]

Naturally, as Xyxer had to be everywhere for no particular reason, he stood on the ship that Takeo was now boarding. In fact, this was his crew of mutes that he had recently took under his wing, and they had provided him a fine service of plundering the locals that refused to pay tribute to their new lord. Standing at the steering wheel to show he was actually the captain, he'd nod to Takeo, who was most likely quite out of it. "This is my ship."

Takeo paid no mind to the stares of the mutes. He was far more interested in his own little task. The voice of Xyxer felt distant, even though the two stood close to each other. Takeo's mind was far from here, as was the name of all things. "In that case you can take me to the mainland, you owe me a boat after all." He replied without so much as a second glance. He crossed the deck, making his way towards the back of the ship. A few steps and he was up the stairs and leaning against the railing at the back of the ship. "Do you know the power of names Xyxer?" Takeo questioned, running his hand through his hair to push it from his eyes. There was no rush, he had time to spare. So he decided to humour the boy with idle conversation before he finally left the young pup to fend for itself.

Xyxer was a very generous person now that he was the first Mizukage, in fact, he even paid back his dues. Nodding to one of his mutes, he'd gesture loosely to the side of the ship where a safety boat would be lowered down into the water, along with an oar for Takeo's premium usage. ".. Are you really asking that to a guy with like five different names?"

Takeo smirked glancing off to the side and watching the boat being lowered. "I ask only because you have many names." He pushed himself away from the railing, walking back across the desk and hopping onto the boat as it was half way down. "Think on it some, let's see if you have an answer when if I come back." Takeo called towards him, sitting himself down on the small bench in the boat when it was lowered into the water. And with that he would just row off, humming to himself various tunes that would not be out of place in a certain movie about pirates that did not exist in this world.

Xyxer allows him to leave, watching the person that was once silver haired, now turned into a twink asian with brown pigtails and makeup on sailing away.. it must be Imp on his way to Worlds.
