A letter was rolled up and attached to a messenger hawk, soon to reach Yaju's desk. From whom you ask? Well Aiko of course, in all of her messy and unprofessional glory.

Ey Yaju,

I'm planning heading out for a few missions soon in the mountains in a few days with my new student, Kyojin Rikaru. You know, the one about finding some instructor and fighting grave robbers? So if you could please I don't know give me permission to leave soon that would be really great. The missions in the village are getting boring pretty quick and I want to stretch my legs.....

The return letter arrived courtesy of the same bird its predecessor had been brought to the Raikage chambers by, only to deposit the scroll at his secretary's desk. Akihana in turn had consulted with the Raikage through her Norito seal, deciding not to disturb him in person over something so trivial and after feeding the bird and praising its endeavors, had sent the following note in return.

Dear Ms. Akiyama,

the Raikage is pleased that you have undertaken the mission specified in your letter and wishes you the best of luck with it. Should you require any further assistance in the matter, please feel free to reach me at his offices.
