Missing pets

Mission Details:

Ok now things were getting ridicules.  He could understand capturing thieves and pranksters.  Guarding the gates was a given, however finding missing cats, well that was just plain silly for a ninja to being doing, even if he was a genin.  However, as he had already resigned himself, Taios was a machine built to destroy and serve Shouten and by consequence Funkagakure.  He moved with no complaint to find these cats, and make sure the mission was done promptly.  He met the old lady, of course she was an old lady, and received the patterns and markings of each cat before setting off.  Oddly the first cat was found before he stepped from the porch, it had been on the nearby tree the whole time.  Walking up and grabbing the beast, he threw it through an open window.  1 down he thought.
 
                The next cat was found down an ally in some garbage cans.  Once again he lifted the cat and returned it to the hosue before going forth and searching for the others.  All the while, he was using his chakra senses.  This part of town was mostly deserted so the technique actually had a slight amount of value.  It at least gave him areas with tiny blobs to look at even if most of the time they were just rats. 
 
                The third cat was found being chased by a dog through the street.  Taios chased the beasts, tackled the dog and scared it away before retrieving the cat and returning it to the old lady.  Only a few minor scratches littered his arms, but all the same 3 down and only 2 to go.  This wasn’t a bad way to make money, perhaps he should release the cats himself and then find them when his funds were dipping low.
 
                Cat number 4 was discovered at a fish market, stealing the merchants wears.  The most difficult part of this was getting the merchant to not kill the cat himself.  Taios was able to convince the man with some forcegful negotiations.  Wiping his bloody fist on his pants and carrying the calico back to the old lady he deposited it, and went out for lucky number 5.  However this one proved much more difficult, and though he searched for hour after hour, he was still coming up short.  Even his chakra senses that were growing more and more keen, could discover nothing.  Once night had fallen in earnest her returned to the ladies house to speak of his failure.
 
Though upon returning to the home, he spied 5 cats in the living room.  When questioning her he discovered it had been in the home the entire time.  More than a little miffed, Taios left and filed a report, dropping it in the late night drop box on the Kazankages office building.  He returned home and got into bed, pereparing for sleep.  He had successfully wiped out all known genin missions for the village.  He hoped he would have made the higher ups a little proud.  He sought advancement to gain in power and reputation, to better serve Funkagakure.  These were small steps, but necessary onese.
