You're supposed to be grateful when someone helps you out. Not everyone needs to go out of their way give you an alternative way to pay your bills. Some people could just take you to court and fuck you right up the ass with the legal system. Other people could run to the governing Council of the village and get them to do the ass fucking for them. But the hospital was different. Asura didn't know if Hunter, the green-haired stranger, had spoken with the staff or if it was just their good will, but for some reason the people at the hospital accepted alternative forms of payment. He told it like it was - that he didn't want to be admitted over night and that he had specifically asked for a general physician. They understood his financial position but being the medics they were, they couldn't relate to why someone would jeopardize their health for a couple thousand Ryo.

But they conceded nonetheless and allowed him to take up an outlying mission that they had requested from the Raikage.

So here he was, in the outskirts of the village, along the trail where the Medical convoy usually passes. It was raining, which was both a good and bad thing. It made it easier to dig up the dirt around where he searched, and made it easier to see small unfamiliar mounds in the wet ground, which could be a sign of a lost item from the hospital crew. But on the down side, it was raining. God dammit it was raining.

Yet, even the rain wasn't what had made it difficult for Asura to be grateful. It was the absurdity of what he was finding.

"HOW DO YOU LOSE A STETHOSCOPE?!" He pulled it out of the dirt and propped it into his satchel. There was a myriad of other ridiculous findings in there. Somehow the hospital crew had dropped an entire set of scalpels. Fuckin scalpels that cost more than his apartment! His searching went from intense to wary, afraid now of what he'd find, afraid of uncovering just how careless the delivery staff was. That's when he turned around, feeling something soft below the palm of his hands. Immediately he turned around and began digging, each patter of rain masking what he was trying to find, but the soft dirt gave way easily. When he realized what he had found, he felt like kicking the entire hospital delivery staff in their testicles. But he couldn't do that. Instead, silently, he vocalized the only thought that bounced about madly in his mind.

"An entire motherfucking spleen?"
