    Hidden Cloud, the village in the Land of Lightning. The village is located at the top of a range of tall mountains and is hidden in the clouds. The weather is often mild and unchanging. Villagers pride themselves on their military strength, and lightning-release techniques and swords seem to be common among the ninjas from this village. Even in times of peace, the forces of the Kumogakure do not demilitarise and constantly seek to have an edge on the other ninja villages.
